“How many places let you try the food before you place an order ?Ali, gave me a taste for his gyro and welcomed me with warm tea since I mentioned how much I like Iraqi tea. Didn't even charge me for it.I am new to Austin, found this gem after playing some tennis nearby at SATC. Great hospitality and wonderful owner that treats you right with good timely service. “HUGE gyro! Stopped here to check out what food carts were available and decided to try this one, super glad I did because the gyro was delicious! The serving size was huge and it was packed with tons of meat and sauce, just like I like them! There was live music playing when I was there and it was a really nice place to chill and eat.“

“I had the pleasure of enjoying my first plate of yumminess while attending Mythicon last weekend. It was so great to have some authentic middle eastern. It was delicious. The staff was so fun and friendly that we got so busy chatting I forgot to pay. I felt horrible and when I returned to pay, they were so grateful for my honesty that they insisted I enjoy my complimentary meal. So, free and delish! Win win!“

“Practically work next door and I order from Tropical Cafe at least twice a week. Food and smoothies are awesome, fresh ingredients, never have had a bad experience with the food or service. Staff is always happy and smiling, establishment is very inviting when you walk in, have my coworkers hooked on coming here for a smoothie!“

“Genuinely one of the best food trucks out there. They are so incredibly friendly and there food really brings back memories of my own family's Trini cooking. Plus, there's nowhere else you're getting doubles in the area! Great options for veg eaters and non-veg eaters alike.
