“What can I say? Top 5 bbq restaurant I have eaten in? Might be, yeah. Caught Blood Bros . in a lunchtime lull as there is normally a line out the door. So glad I came. I put aside the state and national recognition BB gets so I could make an honest assessment of the bbq. They definitely lived up to the hype. I'll start with the pork belly burnt ends. Loved them. They came with a mango habanero salsa that perfectly complimented the pork belly but was not obnoxiously hot. Then moved on to the "44 Farms Smoked Brisket. 44 Farms raises some of the best beef in Texas and BB's honors that quality with a high-end smoke. One of the best brisket I have had, and I've had a lot. Very juicy, fall apart tender, and with a perfect smoke ring. Really exceptional. Finally, there was the single side I ordered, the smoked brisket fried rice. I have an unhealthy relationship with fried rice as it stands, and this dish only amplifies it to stratospheric levels. I mean, I could have a feed bag of this stuff strapped to my face and walk around in public without a care in the world it was that good. Best fried rice I have ever eaten and it's really not even close. Thick chunks of smoked brisket throughout and the smoked flavor just takes fried rice as a cultural dish to a whole other level. LOVED IT. Great service and nice ambiance. Coming back to Houston at end of June and will be visiting here again. Can't wait!“

They lacked that wow factor and left me craving something more flavorful. However, I must admit, the BBQ sauce was a standout - tangy, sweet, and just the right amount of smoky goodness.Now onto the burgers: While they were flavorful, there was something off about them. They didn’t quite taste like real meat, which was a bit weird and disappointing. However, if you’re open to non-traditional burger experiences, you might enjoy them.On the bright side, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warm hospitality definitely added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.In conclusion, if you happen to be in the area, it’s worth stopping by Charlie’s bbq and burgers for a bite. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again. There are better BBQ joints and burger spots out there.“

“I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. It's an amazing family owned business with great food good service and lots of friendly faces. When you first walk in, you can recognize it's not a big place. But you can also see how many of the tables are full at lunchtime and dinner time. This is a staple for the city of Bellaire. they have catered many events for me as well. Absolutely would highly recommend. The atmosphere is amazing as well.“

“Wow!!! Excellent smoked brisket. Super generous portions. $14 feed my friend and I, no way I could finish the brisket grilled cheese by myself. Although the brisket needs no BBQ sauce, the sauce they make is fire. I pray they bottle their BBQ sauce one day. The owner was super cool and blessed us with stickers in addition to the fabulous food. My friend recommended them, and El Pobre Tex Mex BBQ did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend. The bulgogi and pork belly were cooked well and tasted amazing with the dipping sauce and lettuce salad they provided. Some of the other dishes I enjoy from here are the soondubu jjigae, dolsot bibimbap and kimchi pajeon. I love the ambiance and the water feature at the entrance.“

Me and my boyfriend have this kind of ritual every pay day we go after work and pick up some omg fries, the quesadillas, and some dumplings because nothing beats the flavor. Whatever we don’t finish we pop in the air fryer the next morning and it’s good as new. We used to go to the food truck next to yo-yo’s all the time, and then they opened the Westheimer galleria restaurant. It’s closer to us so we like to go there and pick it up and take home for a night in.Parking: There’s plenty of parking, especially if you’re going in the afternoon. Usually the 30 minute spots are free right in front of Oh My Gogi so it’s perfect for a to-go order.“

“I came across this stand at the freedom over Texas festival. The line was ridiculously long (in a good way) but baby let me tell you I got the brisket baked potato with jalapenos and it was AMAZING.... definitely worth the wait for sure!! “One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we’ve never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream.Parking: Large lot in the shopping center. There's always enough parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids 5-10 are $17.99, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10 and eat enough.“

“I'm a regular customer of Longhorn Steakhouse, usually every Sunday morning. My favorite waitress is V she always takes care of me and she knows my order by heart. I ordered my normal and 8 oz sirloin butterflied baked potato and a salad. I eat half take the other half I take home always. This Sunday morning , I go to the restroom I come back and my table's cleared. V ask what happened I said I don't know, she said I'll be right back. She comes back with the manager who told me he cleared the table because he thought I was done. Mind you a full baked potato a little more than a half a steak and bread, full glass of tea, but you thought I was done. He offered to make another steak and take it to go I said okay I waited 15 more minutes and I didn't cause a scene, things happen. Later on that evening I go to eat my food and this is what I received... a large box with a Slither of steak with a hole in it and a potato. Are you serious you make the mistake and throw my food away and this is what you give me to replace my food!! This is absolutely unacceptable!! Below I've shared the pictures of how he replaced my meal. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I was Furious when I saw this!! It looks like somebody's left overs but they weren't mine. Absolutely unacceptable, there is no excuse for this! And I haven't been back since. Unbelievable???“
