“Love these tamales so much! I love that they are gluten free and do not contain lard. They have several vegetarian options and they even have a vegan option if you call ahead and pickup in store. There is a store front in Bellaire and they can be found at many local farmers markets in Houston. The sauce that accompanies the tamales is absolutely fantastic! Run, don't walk and grab yourself some Momma's tamales!“

“Casa Dominguez is one of my favorite places for a quiet, low-key quality meal. The roja and verde salsas are fresh and super good tasting, and the chips are always good, too. Their iced tea has the most generous lemon slice I've ever seen on a glass of tea, anywhere. I tried their pork and potato rollitos, really good.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door has a good ramp and staff has always been very helpful getting me seated.“

“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.“

“We saw this restaurant in social media and wanted to come check it out. It did not disappoint!! I had the delicious chilaquiles and it came with homemade chips! We also ordered the Jorge plate with spicy pork tamales covered with eggs and side of beans and potatoes. It was another excellent choice.The Tamale joint is very clean, comfortable and amazing customer service from Jorge the Manager! He was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic! “Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos by far! There isn't a lot of room inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat but you can eat in the car LOL. Expect long lines when you go to eat at brother's tacos. But it's only because their food is delicious!Parking: Parking is very limited and most people end up parking on the side of the street. However, the last time I was there was about a week ago. Ok my last visit I did notice a city worker putting fines on windshields of cars that were parked on the side of the curb in the street. Previously I had never seen this.“

“If you haven’t visited Pollo Bravo, you need to stop what you’re doing a run here! The minute you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a warm welcome. You can pick wherever you’d like to sit, and the waitress will bring you a menu. We usually start with the green plantains and the crispy taquitos. Each time I come (which is quite often), I try something different. Their food is always fresh and made to order. Their prices are fair and the quality of their food is out of this world! They are also family friendly, and have a kid’s menu. I have yet to be disappointed and I know you will feel the same, so the next time you are wanting to try something different bring your entire family!“

“Very kind staff and such a gorgeous restaurant. I ordered- 1) the tortilla soup. This came in a huge bowl so I recommend sharing and there was a ton of chicken in it. Tasty and light- was a broth not a thick stew 2) the horchata which was absolutely delicious and 3) a chicken taco. They also made this taco huge with lots of chicken! I thought it was filling and tasty.“

“This place is in a wonderful area, close to Target, hotels, various restaurants and shops - all within walking distance. The food was delicious and the server was very attentive. The menu has more options than a typical restaurant so there is truly something for everyone. I loved the fresh squeezed juices, homemade corn tortillas, various salsas, and all the accommodating gluten free options as well. You can’t go wrong for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner at Ojo de Agua - we will certainly be visiting again soon!Vegetarian options: There are tons of options for vegan, or vegetarians. There is even fresh squeezed juices that are delicious along with dishes that exclude meat or cheese. They have seasonal vegetables that are offered across any dish even to substitute main ingredients if needed — extremely accommodating.Dietary restrictions: There are multiple options for gluten free, vegan and dairy free options. I had the tacos with corn tortillas which were completely gluten free. The server was knowledgeable as well in dietary restrictions.Parking: There is plenty of street parking areas along with a garage close by.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly and offers a kids menu, and seating that is spread out from other areas as well to accommodate high chairs, strollers, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheel chair accessibility within the restaurant and ourdoor seating areas - extremely spacious.“

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly and courteous hostess who checked us in for our reservation and promptly seated us. Our waiter Oscar quickly arrived, and took excellent care of us the whole evening. The food was terrific, and the menu was very deep. We enjoyed a really terrific evening and shall return soon.“
