“Wanna learn about saki (an area in which I'm woefully ignorant)? Wanna have some excellent sushi? The same answer for both: Soto's. Came to Austin to see family and the total solar eclipse, but after family Soto's took the prize. (Sorry Austin, you may be a great place for other reasons but when cloudy you're not a very good place to witness the TSE). Soto's, however, is a great place to go for some expertly prepared sushi accompanied by an education about saki. Loved our server who was our saki sommelier. He let us taste three different selections, each with its own characteristics. One knocked it out of the park. Absolutely loved it. So sign me, David "ASS" (A Saki Sampler:) M.”

Our waiter Christain was very accommodating to our large party and gave excellent recommendations. He was very attentive and made the dining experience a pleasurable one. My friend and I split the breakfast sandwich and the chicken and biscuits. The biscuits were fluffy, and the chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned very well. Peri Peri Republic 11200 Lakeline Mall Dr Suite #EU01B, Cedar Park Chicken • $

“What a wonderful place to have very tasty food in the Mall. This has its own entrance and the ambiance is pretty good. The place is well kept and most importantly, they have some wonderful sauces to try. The people there are very friendly and we were a group of 7 who sat very comfortably and enjoyed our meal. The Potato patties, chicken tenders, Shrimp over rice and Hummus and bread are few of the most enjoyable dishes with special peri peri fries. We had two kids and they enjoyed the meal as well. This is definitely going to be our spot to eat, even when we are not going to the mall. You can follow the AMC cinema entrance and it is right opposite to the AMC theaters.Once last thing: their drinks are pretty great, dry Mango lassi and mint mojito (non-alcoholic).Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.”

The Garlic Cheese Focaccia and the Margherita pizza are both killer. Every time I have ordered them which is at least 7 times in the past 6 months. Now what people may not like is the size of the Margherita pizza, which I cannot verify, but I can state that both these items are killer and IMHO worth the price. Repeatably delicious.”

“Spare Birdie is an upscale location for gaming and food. I reserved a couple of bowling lanes for my kid's birthday party, never having visited the place. On the day of, I didn't know what to expect but I was surprised by how smoothly everything went. The price for the bowling lane is very reasonable and the food was top-notch. The fries were a huge hit and the guac was the best I've ever eaten, nachos were tasty too. The servers were very friendly, checked in often, and orders were brought out within 10 mins of being placed. Our server Russ was excellent and so was the other gentleman. (Christopher?) The music was at a very acceptable level - I can't usually stand the volume at most bowling places and typically leave with a headache. Overall, my daughter and her friends had a blast and I was very impressed with the food and service. We will be back.”

“Great New Orleans spot in Cedar Park. We went for brunch and they had a New Orleans jazz band performing live. The music was definitely a little loud for the space, to the extent that it was a little difficult to hear people. However, the brunch items were tasty and well-priced. Pain Perdu (french toast) was a standout dish and, although not New Orleans flavors, the Lakeline taco was great too. I found the Texas Philly omelette a little underspiced. All in all, a hidden gem in Cedar Park especially if you are craving for a taste of New Orleans!”

“Two years ago, my partner and I met for the first time, at the Cedar Park location of the Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen. It was love at first sight. Since then, we have been back a few times, including our first and now (last night) second anniversaries. We always enjoy coming back, having always had great food, wine, service, and ambiance. Last night there was a minor snag, but boy did The Grove come through! I had some flowers delivered to the restaurant, and on the notes for the reservation I asked the staff to have the flowers waiting on the table when we were seated. Unfortunately, when the delivery service tried to deliver the flowers, the manager on duty did not recognize the name of the recipient (my partner) and did not check the reservation system to see if the flowers could have been relevant to any of the evening's diners. So, as a result, the manager denied the delivery and had the flowers sent back. Therefore, when we arrived...no flowers. Boo hoo. When I privately asked the hostess about the flowers, she told me she had seen the reservation notes and had looked for the flowers, to no avail. Moments after we were seated, I received a call at the table from -- surprisingly enough -- the manager on duty, Kristen Byrnes. Kristen asked if I could come speak with her, which I did. It was there that she explained what had happened, and (SHOCKINGLY!) asked what they could do to make up for it, including (EVEN MORE SHOCKINGLY!) sending a staff member to go get some flowers for my love. After thanking her for her caring, I decided not to have them get any flowers, shrugged it off, and went back to the table, disappointed but still horribly impressed with how much they cared. Again though, moments later I got a text from Kristen asking what they could do to make up for it and if they could give us some free champagne. After some consideration, I took her up on that AND the offer to go get flowers. 20-some minutes later, a BEAUTIFUL vase of flowers showed up at the table, along with a glass of champagne for both of us. My partner was utterly blown away, as of course was I. Kristen and I then gave her all of the background, which now has become just a beautiful part of our story together. The rest of the experience was "typical fantastic Grove." We have always had nothing but the best service, best attention to detail, best food, and best wine there, and last night was no exception. Our waitress, Taylor, managed the whole experience for us perfectly, staying clear when she knew she should, and visiting us whenever she needed to. The kitchen did its as-always wonderful job as well. We couldn't have been happier. MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR shout-out to both Kristen Byrnes for caring so much about making this anniversary dinner special and to Kailyn Potter for dropping everything and going to get the beautiful roses for my love. Certainly, neither of them was ever expecting to deal with something like this last night, but both of them went above and beyond to make sure that we had a top-notch experience, which we definitely did. Kristen, Kailyn ---- Thank you!!!”

I thought the quesadillas were really good and would go again just for them especially since we went during happy hour and so the starters were cheaper. The tinga chicken rellenos was a bit more disappointing, still pretty good, but I wouldn't get them again. We went at 6 pm on Friday and there was a lot of people so it took a while to get seated and the food to come out but it was worth it the food was so yummy. “We don't eat at Whataburger very often. I enjoy their food, but the hubster is not the biggest fan.I have been on a keto plan for the last five weeks, so really have been avoiding all restaurant food. The other day after my swimming exercise class I was absolutely starving and had a haircut to go to so had decided not to go home in between. There was Whataburger right next to my favorite pizza place in Cedar Park. Well, no pizza for me these days so I thought well I bet they have the ability to give me a burger with cheese no bun, no veggies and that that would keep me satisfied until dinner at night.I often fast but not necessarily on the days where I go to the YMCA. So I decided as to avoid more temptation than I thought I could handle, go through the drive-through.It was about 1 PM, but I was able to pull right up and place my order for a bacon burger no bun no veggies but with a fork which I specifically asked for.I pulled around and paid for my order and decided I would eat it in the car in the parking lot before I went in to get my haircut. Lo and behold when I opened my lunch the burger was in there in a nice container covered with cheese and bacon strips, there was a little bit of onion and tomato, which was fine. I just decided I would not eat it but sadly there were no utensils and no napkin. I was really bummed out since I had specifically asked for it however, I honestly don't believe you should have to if you are specifically ordering without a bun .The cheeseburger itself was very good and there were plenty of half strips of bacon on it.I really can't fault them for the team members. I interacted with or the Food, but I did take away a full star for the lack of utensils, and a napkin.”

Order to Appetizer Time: 5-10 Minutes (Tempura, Karaage) Order to Entree Time: 13-15 Minutes (several ramen bowls) We got here on a Saturday evening around 5PM and it was still relatively empty, but people did begin trickling in (there was also a concert in Cedar Park that definitely influenced things). Ordering was all through the Toast app, which also had a nice promotion going on if paid with Google Pay. (Value: 4/5) Chicken Karaage (3/5): Places don't really mess up chicken Karaage nowadays. I'd call this one average. Portions were good but the meat was a bit stringy. Served with lemon and a bit of sauce to dip. Spicy Tonkatsu (3/5): I thought that this relied a little too heavily on the chili oil to provide flavor and that the Tonkatsu broth itself was not that rich. Chashu pork was the highlight here as it actually had a nice char to it. Portions average. Service was nice, with someone bringing us water pretty quickly and even fixing an order mistake. Overall 3.5/5 for the value, rounded up for good service.”

“As you can tell from the pictures that I've posted, the food looks amazing and the clerk was sweet, so I'll start with the food and I'll come back to the clerk. so starting off with the food I think I was really hungry and I want it tacos that day and this was the first place that popped up as a suggestion for birria tacos and I just pulled the trigger and went. to my luck it was the perfect place. It wasn't too far away and it was quick. I got my food and like five minutes there was no line. There was no one there and I'm may have picked the perfect time to go around 2 o'clock on a Saturday I believe. The tacos were amazing. I don't even think it took me five minutes to finish those tacos probably some of the best birria tacos I've had, very delicious!! This food truck was located with maybe two other food trucks in a small area and a up-and-coming developed area not too far away from the highway. The service I received from this clerk was polite, calm, reassuring, and extremely sweet; loved her for that. She even left a little affirmation on the top of my to go plate. I will definitely be going back to get more of these tacos and trying out other items on the menu! I promise you guys if you go out there, you won't be disappointed and you'll love the food!”

“I typically go to the Burnett location bc they rock on everything and it took a while for this location to get up to speed on making the food and most importantly the pies just as good. I can now say they make the food and pies just as good as the Burnett location!! The service has always been outstanding, and this location is still kind of a hidden gem, it doesn't get crazy crowded like it should but I'm ok with that. Lately I've been getting the OG chicken sandwich, Dang Hot style and it hits the spot for me, big piece of chicken with perfect amount of spice on the chicken. Any heat below Dang Hot is just a dry rub, which doesn't do anything for me bc throwing dry spices on fried chicken is no fun. I would compare Dang Hot to prolly serano chili spice level. The slaw I got on it could prolly be a little less wet next time. Had i gotten it to go, my sandwich would have been a soggy mess. Still my last 2 visits were great, loved the service and the food.

“Food tastes great and customer service is amazing!! We ordered online from them Sunday, 2/4/24, and our pizza was incorrect, which I absolutely take partial responsibility for because the way I entered it into the online system was kind of confusing. I called them upon receiving the pizza and they handled it wonderfully! They offered a delivered remake or a refund. The half that was incorrect was for my small child so I asked for the remake, but since there's only the two of us I really didn't want a whole 2nd XL pizza. We would have ended up with an XL pizza and a half for just me if they did a remake of the way it was originally ordered. I told them I would be happy with just a personal size with the correct topping instead, but they said they would do a medium. They had the remake delivered in less than 30 mins and the person who delivered it was so kind and friendly to my kiddo, who was very excited to get a whole "big" pizza for herself. We have been ordering from them for about a year now and this is the first time there has been a mistake and with how wonderfully they handled it we will definitely keep coming back!Kid-friendliness: Have been great with my kid both for pick up and delivery orders. “Went to eat yesterday with around 25 people and we expected because of the amount of people that there might be issues with service or food being cold but Noah our server was able to control everything like a pro. I will definitely be coming back and asking for him!”

“I come to this location often with my two young children. Last night I had the best customer service experience while also watching Shannon be extremely reaffirming to a new employee. It was clear she was training her and she was being extremely patient. I’ve worked in good business and bartending go years and Shannon really stood out to me. Please give her the kudos she deserves.”

Tacos La Catrina 2301 Brushy Creek Rd, Cedar Park Mexican • $$

“If you looking for North Indian taste, this is the place unlike other South Indian restaurants serving not-so- authentic north indian food. Service is fast, Owner is friendly. Food is simply yummy and fair priced. Limited seating, not a very big place. Ample parking. But hidden from public view while driving. It is across the plaza having Leylas, Panda express.”

“All ingredients are fresh now, not like when previous owner Glorias used frozen ingredients. BEAUTIFUL new bar area. This sets Dos Hermanos as a Cedar Park dining establishment at their best.”

“We love shake shack burgers. It’s so pretty much order at the indoor kiosk and pay for your order. It lacks the customer experience you want with questions and answers. Overall the store is new, clean and nice.”
