“Wanna learn about saki (an area in which I'm woefully ignorant)? Wanna have some excellent sushi? The same answer for both: Soto's. Came to Austin to see family and the total solar eclipse, but after family Soto's took the prize. (Sorry Austin, you may be a great place for other reasons but when cloudy you're not a very good place to witness the TSE). Soto's, however, is a great place to go for some expertly prepared sushi accompanied by an education about saki. Loved our server who was our saki sommelier. He let us taste three different selections, each with its own characteristics. One knocked it out of the park. Absolutely loved it. So sign me, David "ASS" (A Saki Sampler:) M.“

“This restaurant has amazing food. Every time we’ve been we’ve enjoyed our meal. My daughter loves sushi so we go occasionally. My favorite is an off menu roll called Monica Vegas. Their cold Lychee sake is to die for.“

“Daichi Sushi is one of the best in Austin and Cedar Park. This restaurant is small just like many sushi restaurants in Tokyo. To my best knowledge, small and tiny sushi restaurants are typical in Japan. The owner Tomo is a Japanese and she really knows how to serve delicious sushi and great Japanese kitchen foods to customers. Many thanks to Tomo, Keita, and Jesús. I have been eating here for many years and I always enjoy the foods here.“

“I love this place. We usually go several times during the month. We love our Cosmopolitan drinks always made with our favorite Grey Goose Vodka. The food is amazing. I’m not really into spicy but here I can handle it. Last but no least… the service! The customer service. Fast, kind, always with a smile open to help and give you advises. They are so skilled and knowledgable. Waiters knows al the plates, and tastes. Also huge shout out to my Venezuelan friend. He is a bus boy and he is always goes above and beyond. “Rana Indian Cuisine is delicious! Every time we have been there we are met by friendly and helpful staff. The chef cares a lot about the quality of his food. Definitely a spot we will be going to often !“

“Torchy's is a street taco specialist that started up as a food truck in Austin and has now expanded to over 90 restaurants across the States including this place on Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park. They have a fair sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. You can do take-away and delivery as well. Menu features a few not-taco and side items along with their signature list soft tacos that are really good. We had dinner here recently amongst friends, tried 6-7 of their different tacos, let's just say that nobody complained and we gladly finished them all. Torchy's is a neat place that is family friendly and a good spot to meet up with friends. Prices are reasonable, range of taco options good and they seem to know what they are doing in the kitchen. Would gladly eat here again and do take-away for meals at home.“

“We got the chili and shrimp quesadilla, steak and mushroom quesadilla, and the tinga chicken rellenos. I thought the quesadillas were really good and would go again just for them especially since we went during happy hour and so the starters were cheaper. The tinga chicken rellenos was a bit more disappointing, still pretty good, but I wouldn't get them again. We went at 6 pm on Friday and there was a lot of people so it took a while to get seated and the food to come out but it was worth it the food was so yummy. We sat in the outside patio area which was covered and was a small cute seating area, especially since the weather was nice.“

“The Tom Kha soup is awesome! I always get that with a side of rice and try something new. So far I’ve tried the spring rolls, Moo ping, and Thai jerky strip. The sauces taste fresh and authentic. I do take out every time and it’s always quality and satisfying!“

“My son and I love sushi. We have eaten it all over Austin, including some of the well known high end locations. We had a night to ourselves and decided to try a new place. WOW! We loved every bite! The presentations were remarkable and the sushi was impeccable. Melt in your mouth toro paired with other delicious cuts and an amazing roll. Our new favorite spot, and not far from home. “From California, and we don't see any places like this here. Comparable to Baskin Robbins with a home town punch. You don't see clerks walking up to your window asking for specific menu items. “I have visited Mandola’s once before and we have enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was packed but we got a seat at the bar where we ordered Eggplant Parmigiana and my husband got Spaghetti and meatballs. We also love the complimentary bread.Kid-friendliness: There’s an outside play area that was filled with kids. Great place for parents to enjoy their meal while the kids play.“

“We went for the first time for my husband’s birthday. We live past Burnet so not close to us but we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back. Well worth the drive. Tried food from 2 different trucks and both were great. The grounds were all astroturf. We had no kids but the ones there were having a great time. Brought 2 of our dogs and they loved it as well (lots of pets). They have indoor and outdoor seating. Played cornhole and saw people playing Jenna. Definitely well done business“

“Cedar park CAVA is one of my favorite place to get healthy and delicious food. I always get Greek salad or pita. I disagree with comments where people complain about the portion size and prices. I work in a food industry, and I know that the quality of ingredients at CAVA is very high. They use high-quality veggies and meat. Overall, Mediterranean food is considered to be one of the healthiest, and CAVA makes it super delicious.So if someone is complaining about the prices they probably should go to a junk food restaurant and get something cheap.I give 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for the food and the service at Cedar Park CAVA because the restaurant is always clean, the staff is super nice and the food is very delicious.Parking: Sometimes the front might be busy but there is plenty of space on the other side of the restaurant. “*Update* We have ordered 3 times in 2 weeks and are going to get another order this weekend.... YES, it's that good! We ordered Yak N Yeti for the first time with UberEats, and it was amazing! My husband and I both love Indian food so we have tried several places around the CP/Austin area and this restaurant has the best flavors we've had. The food was delicious, every container was labeled with contents, and we were so impressed with the menu. My husband is vegan and they had plenty of options. They have definitely earned a dedicated customer.“

“We first experienced Four Brothers Venezuelan through a catering order at our company that had recently got an office space above the fare ground location. First off, typically when we go out to eat we gravitate towards American food, so we didn’t have much experience when it came to Venezuelan food and/or fully know what we were about to dig our teeth into. We’ve only had arepas once before Four Brothers at a place in Colorado, but we weren’t blown away, so we were curious how we’d like the cuisine. The catering order was a build your own arepa’s bar. They brought up the order right on time inside a warming cabinet so the food stayed hot and fresh and then displayed it out so you could walk the line creating an arepa of wonder and add the sides your heart desired! We were SO GLAD that we gave Venezuelan food in general another chance because daaammnnnn we didn’t realize HOW good Venezuelan food could be when the restaurant you order from home makes the arepas, along with their sauces and meats. The arepas were the perfect size to utilize as either a sandwich or even an open faced sandwich, kinda like a tostada style! They were dense and thick so you could load them up with all the goodies! The catering order came with pulled pork (rumbera), catira (chicken), fresh arepas, some fluffy perfectly cooked basmati rice, fresh cabbage/spinach, sofrito black beans, plantains, yucca fries, queso fresco, Venezuelan cream (like a crema or sour cream), pico de gallo, and the most flavor sauces ever: avocado and a garlic sauce! Lets just start by saying we are MEAT lovers and while the meats were both super delicious, the black beans made us stop chewing to take a moment to appreciate how much flavor was packed in what we thought would be “just” a side dish. That was NOT the case! Those alone could be a standout main arepa topping! Even the plantains… WOW! In the past I’ve never been a plantain lover because I find them to be sopping in oil, soggy and underwhelming. Let’s just say thanks to Four Brothers I’ve been converted! I loved them so much I’m wondering how I can eat plantains and sofrito black beans everyday! The plantains were soft yet dense, savory yet a mild sweetness that came though at the end. OOMMGG! Who knew?! The yucca fries were like the perfect French fry soft on the inside and a crispy outside. The sauces…. Wow…. The garlic sauce… reminded me of a cilantro garlic sauce, but way better!! It was sooo flavorful and creamy and while the garlic was there it didn’t burn your tongue! I could drink it! We had taken some leftovers home and we didn’t think the food would develop even more flavor the next day, especially the chicken! The air fryer was perfect to reheat the plantains and yucca fries and it was so wonderful even being able to create our own little bowls at the house… ummm they’d be great for meal prep for the week! Wink wink! Looking at their regular menu we know that we will HAVE TO experience them again! They have some crispy looking cheese and even mini arepa varieties which look incredible so you can feel responsible while also trying a variety! Four brothers completely changed our view on Venezuelan food! Seriously they are a flavor you will never forget and you might even become addicted to a new cuisine you never even thought about! You MUST try them, whether you visit one of their locations or get a catering order for your family or heck meal prep for the week!
