I've been here a few times, and I've never been disappointed.The hot cheek dumpling is legendary, an excellent fusion of Asian flavors and Texas barbecue. The vermicelli is great. The skewers are good. The spicy beef noodle is one of my favorites.This last time I went, I got the drunken beef stew for lunch, and it was so good that I ate every single thing that I could slide on a spoon or grab with chop sticks.“

“The wildcatters saloon in Katy is a place I like as one of my favorites because they have the best bands and groups and they have this small and cozy bar and you can dance all you want and they always are ready to ask you what you would like to drink. You can reserve a table most of the time for no fee. People who go there are friendly. The bathrooms are always clean. You can get free water in a cup. They have plenty of parking lot. And it’s a little “speakeasy”. I go there with my friends all the time.“

“?️I've been a few times, but this review is specifically based on the service I received on my last visit?️I went with friends for a mini celebration, and to our surprise the place was SLAMMED. We were immediately greeted by Nancy, who worked a miracle to gather enough chairs to accommodate our group and begin to serve us. Understandably the waits for the drinks were quite lengthy, but Nancy kept us updated and got them to us asap and continued this impressive service throughout our meal. She navigated through the crowd like a pro, keeping a smile on her face in what was no doubt a super stressful environment. I just have to brag about her service!Nancy has taken care of us a few times in the past and her service always goes above and beyond, and this time was particularly commendable where I felt the need to write this review. “Delicious food!! Great service!! Thank you!! We were driving by and decided to try it! Really love the gyro pizza! The cucumber lemon sparkling water was also wonderful! We got an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. Wow! Apparently they used to be Latin food, but now they have Italian. Seems like it's been about 4 months since the change... Thank you!!“

“We got invited to watch a certain bandThey were great but I didn’t catch their name.The service was great! But just make sure you check your itemized bill after, but sometimes it’s an honest mistake so just read over what’s put on your tab.We sadly ate before coming so all we ordered was the fried mushrooms, but let me tell you! It was soooo good.My boyfriend and I will take a trip back out to have dinner here.I believe they said steak nights are on Tuesday, and Wednesday is burger night.Great atmosphere and great music!“

“First off, I NEVER leave reviews unless the experience was phenomenally wonderful or terribly bad..and in this case, OUTSTANDING. The ambience was perfect. We walked in and it was like stepping into Mexico. The walls were so pretty and painted, the layout was spacious, and great air conditioning. The bathrooms were clean and smelt fresh. Secondly, the service was awesome. Santiago was so kind and constantly checked up on us. We learned where he was from, and he gave us a background story on the restaurant so we definitely built a connection. It was a family of 7, so that’s always alot, but he was patient, and we got some laughs out of him, and had a great time. We celebrated my birthday, and he brought out a cake, a sign, and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to me. I felt so loved and it made my heart happy. We started off with salsa and chips, and since being our first time he served us a whole plate of elote which was awesome. I don’t like elote but this one tasted amazing! I was shocked. Food overall was great. I had the barbacoa tacos and it was filling. The corn tortillas were homemade so they tasted outstanding!! WE DEFINITELY will be coming back again, and again, and again. I never had an experience like this so from the bottom of my heart…thank you ambriza“

“My go-to place for beers in Katy! Plenty of choice, always something new to try even for a very sophisticated drinker! The food is good for a bar - nice selection of appetizers and quick bites for a couple or a big company. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, pleasant crowd, live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I wish this place existed 20 years ago so I might have spent more quality time here and not wasted it checking-out other subpar places elsewhere :-) Kuralay - the host - is very attentive and welcoming, keeping the whole place on the top level of expectations!“

“Loved that they were playing Irish music and lots of seating at the bar. There are probably around 50 beers on tap? I didn’t count but there were a lot. We had the chicken mkt wrap and a burger. I liked that they used aioli in the wrap and gave it more flavor though the chicken was a bit dry. Husband said the burger was okay but the fries were crisp and delicious!“
