“Mimo has easily become our favorite Italian dining experience. From the moment we walked in to our reservation we were greeted with a smile, true professionals. Our server went above and beyond, offered recommendations and really took care of us. The food was impeccable you can taste the quality of the made from scratch dishes, and the portions were perfect. We sat in the patio on a beautiful Sunday evening we shared a few appetizers including Fritters, the crochette, my daughter had the gnocchi, and my wife and I shared the costasa (ribeye). Everything was delicious, thank you to the kind staff at Mimo.”

“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.”

“When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. It did take our server to get to us a good 10 minutes before talking and telling us what the concept and food recommendations were. The setting of the restaurant is clean, and airy due to the sun room setting on one side of the restaurant. To start us off, we did some drinks that were good but did not find any favourites. The two cold starters were: Hamachi Yuzu: 2/5 because the yuzu yoghurt was overpowering and the kombu powder left a sandy grit texture on the teeth that made it almost annoying to eat. Could barely taste the hamachi. Madai Carpaccio: 1/5 because the crunchy togarashi and black sesame soy sauce enveloped the Madai and the saucy component was too strong to complement the fish. Oyster with caviar was fresh and briny. Very tasty. 5/5. Would recommend avoiding the cold starters besides the oysters and moving straight to the nigiri and hot components of the menu. From the nigiri portion, we ordered: Hotate, salmon, gizzard shad, akami, amaebi and madai. Fresh, fatty, flavoursome cuts of delicious fish. Definitely recommend, 5/5. Also, tried the Olive A5 wagyu nigiri with black truffle and it was unctuous and absolute yum! From their hot portion, we got the baby back ribs, iberico shumai, and lobster with sake miso. The baby back ribs were falling off the bone, tender and seasoned to perfection. The shumai was good with a pipette of ponzu sauce. The lobster was rich, not overcooked and the panko with the miso sake lent it a Mac and cheese-esque quality to it. Would definitely get these again. For dessert go the Japanese melon which was sweet and juicy and had none of the chemical aftertaste that is found in the fruits here in the states. The green tea kakigori was airy and light. Usually not a fan of red bean ice cream or desserts but this one came with a really nice red bean ice cream. Would have liked the portion to be more to balance out the shaved ice. Overall it was a great time! Price wise it was affordable for the amount of food we ordered.”

“Yummy brunch! Our party of 6 were able to be seated quickly without any reservations on a weekday. We got high tables initially but the servers were kind to allow us to move to a low dining table after it was made available.We didn’t have to wait too long for our food and the ones we ordered were decent as well. Loved the matcha and coffee served here too!Totally would recommend for a fuss free brunch.”

“BCN is our go to restaurant for special occasions. Tonight we went for my husbands Birthday. Once again our experience reminded us why we keep coming back. To us, it's not only the delicious food and drinks, but also the service and the experience. The food is always amazing. Delicious and prepared to perfection. The service is above the bar which makes the experience even better. You are made to feel like family. Our server Juan always goes out of his way to make sure we not only have everything we need, but also makes sure everything exceeds our expectations. You are made to feel like royality when you dine at BCN. It is worth the trip all the way from the Clear Lake area. If you haven't experienced BCN, you need to. We were glad to be gifted one hour given our resy gaffe.Our waitress was charming and attentive. As expected, our food was high quality and delicious. While one of my favorite nigiri fishes tends to be loup de mere, the kanpachi was the winner of the hour!”

We were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who showed us to our table. The food was simply outstanding. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We also tried some of the other dishes on the menu, and they were all equally impressive. We left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied, both physically and emotionally. I was floored at how delicious and tasty everything was.The Caesar salad was delicious-the dressing had a spice to it but balanced well with the slight sweetness from the croutons.I would eat this salad everyday.The chicken Vincent was also delicious. The flavors from the Balsamic and the sun-dried tomatoes--wow.The seafood lasagna is a MUST. That sauce is what dreams are made of. It was phenomenal!For dessert we had the puddin 4 layer and it was divine. So rich and creamy. We also ordered coffee which was legit... not some watered down coffee. Quality 10/10.The chef himself came out to introduce himself and check on our food. He also gave his recommendations based on what we liked.The ambience could be better--it's a small place and everyone's close to each other.However, the food is definitely the best Italian in Houston--the other instagrammable places don't even come close. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! “We were lucky enough to get the last service by Chef Jonathan. We had his Kobe fair well tour!And he made our experience amazing! We had recently had their parent restaurant Hidden Omakase and we enjoyed it but was recommended to try this joint for a lower price point and shorter meal.So for dinner they do 45 mins and they start on time so make sure you come a little early and take some pictures in the nft gallery out front. If you park it’s to the left of the Italian restaurant and has no signage.Once seated they get started right on the dot. But even though it’s a short service Jonathan explained what we were getting in great detail. We got better interaction here with the crew than at Hidden Omakase. It’s a younger group and more fun and lively.The Engawa was the best thing I have ever eaten at any sushi restaurant. This thing is life changing. And you’re able to get an extra piece as an a la carte add on. Do it!!! “So we were looking for something local and near the neighborhood and we found it!! I couldn’t believe this place had been open for 4+ years and we have been driving past it this whole time!! Kudos to the cook who prepared our food we tried the egg rolls, chilaquiles and quesadilla. Food was tasty warm and delicious. We definitely recommend and will be back to try the wings & other options. Place is an old steel house and you notice it once inside the restaurant!! Their drink menu was limited when we came but that didn’t stop the bartender who made some great cocktails!! Definitely recommend for the taste & value. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves”

The burger comes out without most toppings but there is a self serve bar in the center of the restaurant where you choose your basic toppings and condiments finish off your burger. Atmosphere is relaxing and appears to be clean although the building is older on both the inside and outside. I visited the restaurant at 2:30pm and there were plenty of open tables. I noticed this restaurant was awarded Best Burgers in 2003. I would recommend this restaurant.”

“We stopped in to Lee donuts this morning after spending almost 5 hours in the ER with my son. Of course, as a teenage kid, he was famished, and I realized I was too, and we ended up getting a variety of things, kolaches, brisket empanadas, donuts, croissant…and that was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had especially the kolache’s. That food made me feel so good I ate to my exhausted heart’s content and then fell into the deepest most peaceful sleep and it was like grandma’s lap.
