“SUCH A GREAT FIND! This spot consists of a bakery in the heart of a shopping center full of great Filipino/Asian options nearby (e.g. Jolibee, Asian Market, etc.) They have a breadth (see what I did there) of baked goods, but also drinks and sweet treats like halo halo. The halo halo was very tasty and not too sweet, but just right. The baked goods were fresh. The service was excellent! BEWARE - it can get packed, but that’s how you know it’s good.“

“This is the cutest little place. I was recommended to stop by from a coworker bc I loved her reusable cup. So I stopped in today and it was just such a cute vibe. I also got a cup of my own, two chocolate chip cookies and some donut holes. Everything was super yummy. The parking is a little bit of a struggle but other than that I loved this spot will be back soon!“

“We went to this place and it was absolutely one of the best coffee spot we've found in Houston! We just ordered americanos and crepes this time, but we are definitely going back to try lattes or cappuccinos. Their crepe was absolutely perfect! The cookies were among the best I have had (except that my mom made the best date-filled cookies and wish that they were available from Milk Mustache (Betty Crocker Recipe)). I love the storage instructions included as well as the names of the cookies we received. I cannot imagine keeping anyone resisting these cookies for storage up to three months, but I suppose it happens.“

“Without a doubt the best coffee shop / bakery I've been to in the US. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but it's true. The coffee is great, the bread (seeded sourdough, anyone?) is delicious, and the location, right in the heart of Rice Village, is super convenient. However, what sets Badolina apart from me is the kindness and friendliness of the staff there. I go in a couple of times a week and there's ALWAYS a nice smile for me and a welcoming hello. It's rare to really feel like a place welcomes you like that and remembers your name. I love it.The coffee is well executed (and I'm a coffee snob), and the pastries are really tasty. There's also some savories there, so it's not a sugar bomb only kind of place. Outdoors is a nice patio (which does get busy, but if the restaurant next door isn't open, nobody seems to mind if you perch up on their patio too), and there's some limited seating inside.Go early, and go often, and be really nice to the staff, because I promise they'll be really nice to you!“

“Stopped in for the first time today one day after tornados had knocked out power all over the city. Luckily even though they didn’t have any electricity they did have a couple cookies left and were taking either cash or Venmo payments. I was not able to get the internet to work while I was there to pay via Venmo but the owner gave me the cookies anyways and trusted me to pay them back when service returned (which I did)! Really excellent customer service during a frustrating time for the city. The cookies were delicious and I will for sure be giving them a lot more business in the future. Highly recommend!“

“This was so so good. Hands down best breakfast tacos I've ever had. Weirdly good coffee. I didn't know I liked cinnamon in my coffee. Who knew! Chilaquiles were on point but the breakfast tacos stole the show. Their tortilla chips were also excellent and not oily at all. We have only one day in town and might go back again.“

“I'm super happy to have our own Lady M store here in Houston, TX! I was ordering them online in the past but now I can directly just come here to pick up a whole cake or a slice.The staff were amazing and very helpful. There was a line indicator to help direct me to where I should stand to place an order or pick up.I got a green tea and Marron Mille crepe slices. I really like how each layer of crepe was carefully sized to and there were cream layered between each one. My favorite was the Marron flavor. I'm going to come back to try the other flavors.There are seats and tables dedicated to Lady M right outside across the store where you can eat your dessert if you want to right away.“

“I enjoy this location. They are no cash, cards only. You can order ahead for pick up via the Toast Tab app. You can dine in or use the drive through. Both options for your pick up if you ordered in advance. I like their coffee drinks. Not as varied in choices as national chains but it's good coffee and not half sugar. Sorry no huge "trifecta" or whatever size available, sorry. ;)Oh! And their bread! It's fantastic! So are the croissants, and they're huge! They'll slice your loaf on request. “When I first saw the price, I questioned it- $4.25 for a cookie?? But, oh, so worth it. Cookies were enormous- the size of a small burger. They are loaded with chocolate chips, nuts, etc… Very moist and fresh. I bought my cookie at 2:30 in the afternoon- and had it as a late night snack around 9:00 pm. It was just as moist and fresh as when I bought it. Definitely worth the price- will be back.“

When we got there we were welcomed so warmly and felt like we’ve known the owner forever! She showed us around and told me exactly how she made her vegan goodies. “It is a huge panderia. You can get everything here. We got a mix of pan dulce, Bolillo rolls, jalapeno and ham pastry, tamales, and a drink. The tortillas are made fresh. Everything is so tasty. The staff is friendly. The cakes look amazing.Update: my son wanted conchas from El Bolillo for his birthday, and they produced gorgeous colorful blue and green conchas for his birthday. The quality of the food is amazing, off the charts delicious, and authentic. Baked to perfection. The bread is superb as well, especially if you’re a carb enthusiast like me. Butters and cream cheese are imported from France, as well as well as confiture and candies on the wall!Some highlights for my family from the case: the baba (w citrus liqueur) and soft whipped cream was delicious and airy, melts in your mouth! The eclairs here are to die for, my favorite is the coffee. London fog (I add espresso to mine) but tea is also from republique de the, a famous French brand as well. “I have a nutrition certification and this place passes all of my tests for good quality food. I got decaf coffee and the eggless pancakes. Great! You must try it. They make all of their food from scratch and make a lot of homemade sauces. So worth going!“
