“Ambiance: Large beer & bar hall with an amazing garden patio filled with long tables, swing set lounge areas, and string lights that make the day/evening feel magical! Nice indoor area that has an industrial vibe. Given their seating/table options, this is the perfect spot for a Meetup or large group. Intimate/romantic date night spot as well with the darker lighting once the sun goes down. Holman Draft Hall is trendy & fun no matter the occasion. I loved the chicken Caesar wrap and fries! Great beer list and cocktails. Clean bathrooms. Parking was a bit difficult given the popularity of the area - but I also went on a Saturday night. Amazing time, I would go back!“

“Toms advertisers and hosted a wrestlemania watch party. It said over 100 Tvs and 360 viewing. when we got there, they were only showing wrestlemania in a small corner of the restaurant with very low audio. even though there were empty tables on the other side of the restaurant, rather than change the channel on the other tvs, we were made to sit outside. it was cold, windy and looked like it was going to rain. as far as the 5 dollar menu that was advertised. none of the servers knew what was going on. my server said "I don't know anything about it, I just got to work." he asked his manager and his manager said I should've gotten the menu in my email. I never gave anyone my email or saw anything where had to register to attend. I'm also thinking I don't work here either. it felt like we were more of a bother to the staff instead of welcomed. my recommendation is when you host an event like this, cater to the audience you invite AND coach your staff. we didn't stay. we just got Chick Fil A and went home where we could watch comfortably and hear the show.“

Very tentative! The food and everything was so fresh and delicious. Although the fish in my fish tacos wasn’t cooked to my liking the additions made up for it. Tim was quick to make things right regardless of me saying it’s ok. Just amazing!! Worth every cent! Can’t wait to come back!!“

“Love this spot. This is my top 10 fav brunch spots in Houston for food and just the love of brunch. Cute spot too. The servers scare me but like in that cool way. Hate to say but their bacon sucks. But it's so fine they make up for it in their drinks. Parking lot also sucks but it's kinda the area so you just gotta deal with it in that neighborhood.“

“I visit a lot of breweries and this is my favorite one. Everything about this place is awesome the staff is so cool and awesome the beers are so fresh and some of the best I’ve ever had and the area outside is one of my favorite places to sit and have a brew, it is a vibe. Not to mention the supercool gaming place that is on premise where you can play lots of cool board and rpg games, bring your own or they have plenty for you to play of their own. One of my favorite places this place is awesome!!!“

“In Houston on a business trip and had to rely on the hotel restaurant for sustenance. Always iffy, even at nice hotels like the Omni. I was pleasantly surprised! Pulled up a chair at the bar, and was greeted quickly by the bartenders. Sadly, I don't recall their names but it was two males on this Wednesday evening. At check-in, the guest services person said she loved the burgers at Birdie's when I mentioned my starved state. I don't do beef, so she suggested the chicken tacos. I also asked the bartender if he recommended the chicken or fish tacos, fish tacos are on the bar menu. He also likes the chicken, so winner, winner, chicken dinner! The salad was surprisingly good! The greens came with watermelon radish (seriously?!), cherry toms, green onions, and a sweetish but yummy white balsamic vinaigrette. More dressing than I prefer, but not too much more, and my Warren would have wanted more, so... The tacos were good. Not great, but not disappointing. The chicken had a sweetish sauce and even with the small cuts, the meat was moist. They used sliced avo, which, for small tacos, an avo guac or cream would be easier to eat. Also had some chopped toms and a leaf of cilantro. One leaf. Lol! And also used only one taco shell, which I liked. I would have liked some hot sauce, and maybe they had it, but they didn't offer and I didn't ask for it, so bad on me. Overall, I'm sitting in my room with a happy full belly writing this review, so thanks Birdie and team!“

“Awesome bierhall with huge selection of curated beers on tap + german style pub grub. The ambiance is dominated by mostly dedicated saucers hung by the walls and some quirky decor. Servers are relaxed and helpful. Nice place for a happy hour - $5 drafts.“
