The food was temperature hot, flavorful, and came out quicker than expected.Mango Margarita topped with grand marnier was mid and not strong after a long day of cleaning lol, I'll try a different next time. “Erika was our server today and she was very sweet and gave great recommendations! I'm visiting from Dallas with my mother and we got a fulling lunch before we head back and boy are we full! The food was delicious along with their special/seasonal drinks such as the lychee and hibiscus drinks. I got the tonkotsu spicy ramen which was very delicious tho, it you like your meals spicy, I recommend going up a level, I had the spicy level. My mother got the Jinya tonkotsu black, which is what they recommend and nothing was left in her bowl. The Jinya buns were also very fresh and delicious as an appetizer to get your palette started. We'll definitely be back when we make our rounds back to Huston. All in all 10/10!“

“Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

“We went to this place and it was absolutely one of the best coffee spot we've found in Houston! We just ordered americanos and crepes this time, but we are definitely going back to try lattes or cappuccinos. Their crepe was absolutely perfect! “Without a doubt the best coffee shop / bakery I've been to in the US. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but it's true. The coffee is great, the bread (seeded sourdough, anyone?) is delicious, and the location, right in the heart of Rice Village, is super convenient. However, what sets Badolina apart from me is the kindness and friendliness of the staff there. I go in a couple of times a week and there's ALWAYS a nice smile for me and a welcoming hello. It's rare to really feel like a place welcomes you like that and remembers your name. I love it.The coffee is well executed (and I'm a coffee snob), and the pastries are really tasty. There's also some savories there, so it's not a sugar bomb only kind of place. Outdoors is a nice patio (which does get busy, but if the restaurant next door isn't open, nobody seems to mind if you perch up on their patio too), and there's some limited seating inside.Go early, and go often, and be really nice to the staff, because I promise they'll be really nice to you!“

“Stopped in for the first time today one day after tornados had knocked out power all over the city. Luckily even though they didn’t have any electricity they did have a couple cookies left and were taking either cash or Venmo payments. I was not able to get the internet to work while I was there to pay via Venmo but the owner gave me the cookies anyways and trusted me to pay them back when service returned (which I did)! Really excellent customer service during a frustrating time for the city. The cookies were delicious and I will for sure be giving them a lot more business in the future. Highly recommend!“

“had a great time here with family. we got the crab hushpuppies and crispy brussels sprouts to start - both fantastic! then for mains we had the ribeye sandwich and bahn mi - both also fantastic. Our server, Jose, recommended both to us and they were wonderful recommendations. “Best bakery that I've visited in Houston out of eight. Perfect fresh petit fours which which should be a must in bakeries but seemingly lacking in HTX bakeries, perfect apple strudel. Very good king cake that could sell well in New Orleans, kind of like a baked donut with premium fillings and sugar crystals on top. Great rec by NOLA's Phil M.“

“These cupcakes are my favorite when I visit Houston. Last time I visited the Mardi Gras cupcake was featured and it was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I've never been disappointed with my choices here. You can't go wrong with your selection.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in the Montrose area for a quick, delicious, reasonably priced meal. It's a smaller spot with counter service. We've been going there for close to a decade and never had a dissapointnent. They offer a solid selection of the usual curries and noodles as well as rotating/seasonal specials. Inline their mango curry, and they have done a very nice pumpkin curry around Haloween. Ialways start with thr fish cakes, one of my Thai favorites and not common in all Thai shops. Spice levels from are from 1-5 to suit all tastes and even the 5 is not brutally hot, but I'm happiest at 4. Everything is cooked to order so it's not quite grab-and-go fast, and your dishes likely won't all come out at once. It's clean and bright and pleasant inside and they have a few outside tables in front for when the weather is nice and the trsffic on Montrose is light enough to talk and breathe over. Limited parking right in front but they have expanded parking right next door on Montrose and I've never failed to find a spot. Soft drinks and a fair selection of Asian and local beers.“

“We went by before the lunch rush and were warmly greeted by the waiter. The Disco Dumplings and Chili Oil Edamame were both very good and were served very quickly. The Honey Chicken Bowl was good, but was made significantly better with a drizzle of the soy sauce from the Disco Dumplings dish. The Chili Oil Beef Ramen was lackluster, and was definitely closer to a pho than a ramen. The beef was tender but the broth was not overly flavorful and there wasnt much chili oil in the soup. It was a weird dish that seemed like it had a lot of potential to be a great ramen, but it needs work and thicker broth to be appropriately called a ramen“
