“Yummy brunch! Our party of 6 were able to be seated quickly without any reservations on a weekday. We got high tables initially but the servers were kind to allow us to move to a low dining table after it was made available. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food and the ones we ordered were decent as well. Loved the matcha and coffee served here too!Totally would recommend for a fuss free brunch.“

“Wow, the food was amazing! This was our first time and we will be coming back and inviting friends next time. Best green beans I've ever had in my life (I love green beans <3). I'm not much of a desert person but was so glad we ordered, so delicious. We had shrimp and grits and chicken enchiladas. Can't wait to try something different next time.“

Don't expect this fries to last for a table.Lawnmower fries with queso was like most fries, nothing special.Mushroom pizza is the best out of the 4 dishes that we tried here.Hummus was refreshing with some flat bread and fresh veggies.“

“I've been to this brewery once before, but for a brief moment. This past weekend, a large group and I visited after a function and had a great experience! There's a large variety of beers and such on tap, plenty of room for large parties, and super friendly staff. Ally helped us pick a beer that we would enjoy based on our preferences,as well as suggested a second option after we were finished with our first. She also helped us with a lengthy wait time on our pizza. Overall, the experience was wonderful, and we would definitely be back!“

“Great neighborhood spot in Spring Branch. Been visiting off & on for years, but this is quickly becoming our new favorite go-to spot. Great draft selection, plenty of bottles & cans, great seltzer options & wine as well. Very mellow vibe always. Perfect amount of lighting inside. Cozy vibes. Plenty of seating. Backyard area is sweet & intimate. Everything is priced extremely reasonably. No pomp & circumstance involved. Great weekly date night spot for a few easy drinks. Owner is a nice guy too.“

“Employees are wonderful and have been there a long time ! Amazing special of the day! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. A favorite is their fried pickles. One of the best in town. Apple slaw is amazing. French fries with their homemade ketchup as well as ANY hotdog on the menu. Grilled cheese is yummy too. More than enough food for a quick bite or to hang and talk with friends and family. Love the two outside seating options“

“We came on a Saturday evening and they were quick to seat us. We started with Caesar salads. I have to say those are some of the best croutons I’ve ever had. Idk if they are made fresh, but they sure taste that way. We love pizza so we had to try more than one. We had the Honolulu and Meat lovers. The Honolulu is delicious! The ham had a great taste I just wish the pineapple was cut in smaller pieces and not slices. The meat lovers was okay maybe because of all the meat (sausage, spicy salami and bacon) it was a bit too salty. We had the tiramisu for dessert it was delicious and creamy I loved it. Our waitress was nice and friendly but she definitely seemed overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was waiting on.“

“Were interensted in this place and came to check it out on Saturday. Got double burgers and fries. Burgers were tasty and liked the Bodega sauce. As for the "screwed fries," thought the additional charge on the price was for the toppings; turns out they were much bigger portion than the regular fries, and they were good (took the regular fries home). Deco is fun as the products with recognizable brand looks "rebranded" with the store or Houston local markings/logos. No parking was available in the lot behind the restaurant but we were able to park in an additional gravel lot they have around the corner. Noticed that they sell Pudgy's Cookies. Nice local place.“

“Padre's is my wine bar away from home. I manage a wine shop in South Carolina, so I definitely can be choosy when it comes to wine spots. The service is incredible - Mauricio especially! Immaculate vibes, really strong BTG selections, and sneaky good bites. Seriously, the grilled cheese is the best I've ever had - you must try. I always leave with a few interesting retail bottles with the help of the knowledgeable staff. Great classic selections (think JL Chave) and some really compelling off-the-beaten-path gems (think Syrah from Mexico.) William and his team obviously know what they are doing, and I look forward to my visit every time I come to Houston.“

“This is a cozy coffee house perfect for working at, as it is filled with folks on their laptops. Luckily it's quiet so you can enjoy a coffee and get your work done. Service was straightforward and fast. If it is busy, I would just Google their menu as they only had one at the front. Now for the important part: the coffee. I ordered the cafe de olla, with creamer. It was smooth, not overpowering, with lovely light notes of cinnamon and sugar. Not overly sweet, just a hint. My boyfriend ordered the campesino cafe con leche which was essentially the same as the cafe de olla but with more milk. The flavor was even lighter in this one but very good! Again not too sweet just smooth with a delicate cinnamon flavor. I really enjoyed the coffee, it was simple, but good and the cups they serve them in are so cute. I will definitely go back to try other flavors. The coffee prices were also pretty affordable compared to their joints.“

“This was a solid place across the board. I made reservations here for a business dinner and it was perfect. The wait staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very modern and upscale without being too formal. The drinks were good but a bit expensive. The food was great. We got a seafood tower, oysters and a few other apps which were all great and the Branzino was excellent. Dessert was just okay so if you have a sweet tooth maybe save your money and wait until you get home. Otherwise this was a great experience and I would definitely go back if I am in the area.“

“We were able to literally walk "down the street" to Down the Street restaurant/bar. Food was slightly limited but varied enough to give everyone something they enjoyed. I think the limited offerings help us make quick decisions, plus they are able to focus on a few items they can prepare really well. Plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the neighborhood.Parking: The parking could get hard to find during busy times, but most customers walked which reduced the stress on parking.Kid-friendliness: We saw several kids having a good time as well as lots of dogs in the outdoor seating area.“

“The Asian ice cream craze made it's mark in Houston, now it's time to roll out the red carpet for Persian Ice Cream, which is already a fan favorite in California.Tried this new food truck and my taste buds were delighted. Little food truck, parked on Fondern, parking lot felt shady when we pulled up but the owners big smile and the lively Persian music playing outside, made all our concerns dissipate. The ice cream was delicious and so authentic. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He told us his story of his families ties to making ice cream goes back generations. He's looking for a location to open up a brick & mortar and I wish him the best of luck bc a small spot on Fondern is not enough for such a big taste in ice cream! We'll be back and absolutely recommend.“

“Our second time visiting on a weekend during brunch. Brunch here is very similar to 'Hugo's' buffett style although not as big. Food is Mexican street style. It is a great deal for the brunch and by far on par with Hugo's. Very delicious and highly flavorful.“

“We went to this place and it was absolutely one of the best coffee spot we've found in Houston! We just ordered americanos and crepes this time, but we are definitely going back to try lattes or cappuccinos. Their crepe was absolutely perfect! They ran out of the pastries, so we were very disappointed. But next time, we will definitely go there early to grab a bite of pastries they have!“

“This boutique craft brewery has a lively vibe and well developed roster of brews. The combination of beautiful indoor climate controlled spaces with TVs to catch the game, plus outdoor shaded spaces is very appealing for families and pet owners. Great place to spend a relaxing afternoon and enjoy a pint or two in Houston. Paid or street parking.“

“Stopped in for steak night not knowing it was only served on Tuesday and Thursday. Seated ourselves and the waitress came right over. She was courteous and professional. Nice and casual, good for enjoying the game or just to relax and conversate. Had the orange blossom cocktail and it was really good! Not too sweet, just the right amount of fizz and it smelled amazing. Plan on returning to try the steak since it's so highly rated.“

“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.“
