“My husband and I had a lovely & delicious meal here. Service was attentive, polite, and very helpful. Atmosphere is pretty, relaxing, & it's possible to chat without shouting. My cocktail was delightful (golden martini) & wine selections are thoughtful. Seafood was fresh as can be & prepared expertly. I have a dairy sensitivity & they were very cool about making some substitutions for me.Parking: Easy if you valet.“

“I went last night with my mom and best friend to celebrate my moms birthday. When I say it was the best birthday dinner she's ever had, I am not lying. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! The ravioli, broccolini, and steak were so flavorful. We ate every bite. Phenomenal experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you all! My mom was so happy.“

“Nice place. We went for a birthday celebration, with high hopes having been to Bludorn. Restaurant is run well, you can feel it, waiters serve the whole table at once (we were 5) which was a nice touch, with settings placed beforehand. Thursday night so not peak crowds. Started with oyster shooters which was fun. Moule frites and endive salad were both excellent, and they brought out their signature biscuits as well which were delicious. Entrees were all good, not great, which was a little disappointing. Dessert was very good though and the small cookies by the door on the way out was another nice touch.“

“Man, I love this place it's been around for ages for a reason. I would come here when I was on a budget in high school. This was my go-to that was 19 years ago. Stop in again recently, and nothing has changed. Great, FRESH SEAFOOD. The taste took me back you will feel like you are water side and just cought it yourself. Always 5 star's!!!!“

“Second time here and another great experience. The food was incredible and even our kids (who a picky eaters) are eager to come back again. From appetizers to main course to dessert everything was delicious. Service was excellent even though our server was also waiting on a large party next to us. I appreciate that they have non-alcoholic drink options and would love to see them add a few more.“

“Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I’m a sucker for sweet and tangy flavors and this really hit the spot!!! The juices (healthy drinks) are delicious and fragrant (I looooove both kumquat and coconut but have never seen the flavors paired) and the lemongrass kumquat is almost a bit savory. Soooo delicious.The lobster was perfectly cooked lobster was saturated in flavor even though gravy is light- and the noodles were perfectly garlicky. Finger licking good!!! The crawfish and shrimp were great too.Definitely make a stop in the area. We traveled about 45 min and it was worth it. Surprised there wasn’t a long wait at all! Definitely great for takeout as well.They are known for bún suông, and we grabbed it to go, as well as the chicken salad ?The owner is also super nice!“

I ordered the double tat sandwich, with the strawberry cheesecake, and the burger (which I couldn’t grab a picture of) but I can’t even explain to you, from top to bottom the sandwich and the sauce is BANGING, then the burger was perfectly made (personally a medium/rare guy) which he made perfectly. “Place is cramped and the building is old. If you can get passed that, you'll have some of the best micheladas out there. The place is nice and affordable. The service may not be there but everyone is nice and just trying to get through all the chaos. I recommend you sitting inside the building instead of facing the windows. It's much easier to get help and service on the inside seats. Just a little protip. If you never been.If you come from the Katy location. You'll be surprised. I say wait to go to Tom's boat until you are back in Katy. Tom's boat very much reflects the east side vibe if you know what I mean. I love the place. It's not a knock. I'm from the east side too.“

“Not sure why this place is not more popular....... the food is really very good. Most people seem to come here for the crawfish, but frankly so many of the other dishes are absolutely amazing. I'm generally not a fan of Pho, but theirs was amazing. The brisket fried rice easily one of the best friend rices I've ever had....... in general all the food we ordered was really very good! The only thing that put me off was the attitude of the waitress who not only behaved like it was a bit of a hassle attending to us - and the very few tables that were occupied - but she literally behaved like she was an owner of the restaurant. At one point I in fact even asked her casually if she was an owner of the restaurant (she wasn't!). Bottomline - this restaurant would do a LOT better if it was in a better location and had more better staff. Many other restaurants have come and gone in this location. As the old adage goes, in the restaurant business, it's all about location, location, location!“

“cute date night spot! I love the interior and the service was great. we were checked on frequently.I ordered the cajun steak with mac and cheese. I loved the steak but the mac and cheese wasn’t incredible.my bf tried the filet and it was not as soft as other filets we’ve tried. the menu advises they have a different style of cooking the meat so maybe that was it but we didn’t live it.the appetizer was the hong kong shrimp and I enjoyed that a lot.for dessert we tried the chocolate cake slice and that was redeeming for my bf. he loved it. it was moist and decadent.“

“Hot and Buttered is right next to/part of Takilas off N. Shephard. We ordered 10 lbs of crawfish, a side of mushrooms, quail eggs, and some sausage as well. Half of our crawfish were the hot and buttered sauce, the other have were cajun. Overall, I was really pleased with the food we got. The hot and buttered sauce wasn't too spicy but added a good depth of flavor to the crawfish and the cajun seasoning tasted on point. The mushrooms soak up a bunch of flavor and the sausage was done well too. The quail eggs were mostly broken up so I'm not sure if I'd order those again. Despite this year's poor crawfish season we got a good variety of sizes and not too many of those little, tiny baby crawfish, which was great. I will definitely be making Hot and Buttered one of my regular crawfish season go-to spots.“

Have perfect balance between authentic Japanese seafood and innovative creativity menu. Decoration gives a peaceful and calming vibe. Open kitchen showing all the kitchen staff practices high quality of hygiene during food preparation. The waiter Tiago demonstrates high level of professionalism explaining no bar tender on duty, offered alternative of ordering beers/sake/etc but also showing enthusiasm in attempt to make a cocktail as we ordered, not to mention his efficient and friendly service being the only waiter for the night with a full floor. We had an awesome dining experience. Thank you.“
