“Second time here and another great experience. The food was incredible and even our kids (who a picky eaters) are eager to come back again. From appetizers to main course to dessert everything was delicious. Service was excellent even though our server was also waiting on a large party next to us. I appreciate that they have non-alcoholic drink options and would love to see them add a few more.“

“The food was delicious! I woke up thinking about it! We drove in from Dallas to attend a private function. Each and every dish was amazing! The biscuits were to die for. The gumbo was flavorful. The fish and shrimps were hot and tasty! Omg, the shrimp and grits were tantalizing! Everything was perfectly made. The customer service was personable and friendly! If I could, I would give this restaurant 10 stars!!!“

“I came all the way from West Orange, Tx and my friends from Houston surprised me with this beautiful delicious place! “We always enjoy it here, but it was a really great experience. The ambiance is always a little dark (which is no problem) but summer light makes everything perfect. Chris was a great server, food and drinks were delicious (did not have big block bourbon ice, but shook in a strainer and they were great) and they do an OUTSTANDING job with gluten free options. Greatly appreciated.“

I would have the lunch chicken fried steak & dirty rice again. My favorites were definitely the Yellow Cake with Chocolate icing, and the Butter Cake!!!!“

“Finally had a chance to stop by, the food was really very good. Yes, that is steam coming off those turkey wings! The young lady at the counter was very helpful in explaining things as it was our first visit. Portion sizes were great, we had enough to take home. Seems like to go was the option of choice as I saw many people in/out. We ate in though, and it was nice and cozy. Love the real recipes on the walls. Turkey wing plate and catfish with grits is what we ate.We will return“

“I was somewhat of a hurry and took it to go. Ordered the brisket melt sandwich along with some onion rings and Mac n cheese. For the dessert opted out for a banana pudding. The smokiness and hint of spice in the bbq was amazing and the onion rings wish I would've gotten a larger portion. Everything was delicious and hooked me, most definitely will be back and try their dinners.“

“Terrible drinks. All 3 moscow mule drinkers complained. My Bloody Mary was undrinkable. Too thick. The chicken sandwich was good. Crispy fries. Mac n cheese good. Interesting place. Like a throwback in time. I would not go back. I give it a 3 but husband and son say 4.“
