“Haidilao lives up to its name in terms of service, quality and of course amusement. We went with the whole family close to opening time and got in without a wait. Ordering was a breeze on their tablet, and items came out almost instantaneously-- before some of us even had a chance to make our dipping sauces! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We used the English version of some of the "secret phrases" for some goodies. If you're wondering, they do do the ke mu san dance that's gone viral on TikTok. In terms of food-- everything was excellent, from the side dishes to the hot pot items. Presentation was always stellar, especially the "dancing noodles" XD The one thing I wouldn't bother with are the dessert mousses-- they came frozen and stayed that way for a good 20min, and don't have much flavor and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. Then again-- you probably didn't come to Haidilao for dessert.“

“This area has lots of Asian themed restaurants and tea places. It’s currently under expansion, so the parking lots are full of cars and dust.That aside, the noodles here are pretty good. We had a good time visiting while on way to Houston. Been to this area several times, and always lots of food to eat.Staff is friendly. Service quick.“

“An Asian-Latin fusion restaurant? Yeah, I definitely had to try out San Eatery, and I'm glad that I did. You order at the counter, and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food will be ready, and I really like it when restaurants do this! Now here is what I got:♡ Ribs BBQ (Costillas). 9/10Wow, this was SO good. I was craving some Chinese BBQ, and this definitely satisfied my craving. Some of the pieces of meat were a little hard to chew, but I didn't mind because the sweet-savory sauce was very yummy, and there was a good amount of it. I had the ribs with the mofongo!♡ Mofongo. 6/10This is my first time trying Mofongo, and I have to say that this reminds me of mashed potatoes, but the texture is a little on the drier side. I think this is just OK, but I personally wouldn't get it again. Maybe fried rice would've been better with my bbq ribs.♡ Tostones con ajo. 7/10First time trying fried plantains, and wow, the garlic definitely elevated it. I'm assuming the sauce that came with it is spicy mayo, but I think it paired nicely with the tostones. I do wish the garlic was spread out more evenly between the tostones, but that's okay. It's still good!｡ ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ ｡FINAL VERDICT:I'd definitely come here again. There are other things on the menu that I'd love to try, like the other platter options and fried rice. Also, the portion sizes are huge, which is good to stretch out for another day or two! It's probably best to not eat the food in one sitting anyways cos the food is a little heavy/rich.“

“This place is the best I’ve had in the Katy area. I used to drive far to find Chinese food like this in Houston, but now this is just down the road from me. Not only is the food delicious with generous portions, but the staff is also very nice and attentive. I highly recommend!“

“The recent change of ownership has been very good for Orient Express! We get ours to go. The food is super hot, plentiful and incredibly good. The spring rolls are the best I’ve ever had, the won ton has more dumplings than anywhere in town and the sweet and sour chicken is actually chicken, and not dried up. Excellent work everyone!!“

“I wish Spicy House was my house!After finding myself in Katy on another mission, we pulled up to Spicy House, anticipating some good Sichuan style cuisine.The ambiance inside of Spicy House is just what I like. Not too bright. Dim lights and music mixed with the sound of people enjoying their food and company. I really like the way the restaurant is decorated. There was a comforting vibe in there. The service was great. I was greeted immediately and shown to a seat right away.After perusing the menu for a bit. I ordered the Spicy Fish Slides and Red Chili Oil Dumplings for the table. The dumplings were really delicious and seasoned very well. I'm not a huge dumpling guy but I really enjoyed these. These were probably the best dumplings I've tasted in recent memory. With that being said... I have to warn you about the Spicy Fish Slides! You may become addicted! These fish slides were so flavorful and crispy. I couldn't get enough! Forget Lay's potato chips, there is no way you can eat just one of these fish slides. I barely wanted to stop at one plate. The outside was crispy but the inside was tender and juicy. The oil/sauce on the fish and veggies is intense and incredible. The peppercorns make my lips numb and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thinking about it right now makes my mouth water and want to go get some right now.The server recommended I try the spicy shrimp next time, since I enjoyed the fish so much. I will take her up on that the next time I return. I will need a plate of fish and one of shrimp.Spicy House was a hidden gem to me but I won't keep the secret to myself. “Visiting from Arizona and was recommended to eat here. Though the restaurant was empty upon arrival it was very clean and the staff was friendly. We called our food in for pickup and it was ready upon arrival we only had to pay.When we got home and unpackaged the food we realized the dinner combos were very large! You only pay about 15$ per combo and it’ll feed 2-3 people. The flavors were amazing everything you’d expect from a buffet. If you’re visiting or even just bored of what’s in town I recommend eating here!“

“Came here on a recommendation from my co-workers and man is it good. The first time I came I was unsure what to order so I went with General Tso’s chicken and through a stroke of luck they brought me the wrong dish but it looked good and I just went with it. It was the spicy crispy chicken and I gotta say, it was quite tasty. I’m not even sure how to describe this dish except that it has a very floral taste/aroma to it that has to be experienced to understand. It also has a numbing agent in the spices that really activates when you take a sip of something cold. Tried a few dishes here and they were all good and I especially like the egg drop soup. All in all, an easy place to recommend to others.“

“They have absolutely the best hot and sour soup of any Asian restaurant. And their cucumber salad is also the best ever. They give you very large portions and each dish is packed in a dirty container so that there is no leaky on your way home. I will definitely frequent them often.“

“I have been craving Jianbing since I moved back from China. I finally found a place that makes it in Katy! Went there tonight and shared a Jianbing with my child and also tried the roujiamo, aka Chinese Hamburger. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat even with my rapidly diminishing Chinese language skills. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Jianbing isn’t something that travels well, even in China, so I recommend if you want the authentic taste, eat it there.“

“First time ever coming here. We ordered takeout and picked it up through the drive thru. Staff was very nice and inviting. I ordered the special lo main, general tso, beef with garlic sauce, shomai, and dumplings..as well as egg drop soup and wonton soup.. and they ALL tasted amazing!..The food was flavorful and didn't need any additional sauces. The dumpling sauce and hot oil were also on point. I will definitely be going back for my last minute, fast food choices! It was very easy to order online and it was ready in 15 min!. “I cannot love this place more than I already do. Stumbled upon Fortune Village about 10 years ago on our way to find another restaurant and Thank god we did. Love everything here! Our favorite is the pan fried noodles and Kung Pao chicken. We make it a point to drive from Cypress to Katy at least once a month to eat here. Highly recommend.“

What I really like was how they packaged everything. I somehow felt warmth and accommodation in the way my food was packaged, even though it was to-go. “Overall the food was good and we would visit the restaurant again. The wonton soup has been one of the tastiest ones I've had. The wontons were delicious. The egg rolls were flavorful and very meaty. They didn't have any vegetables, if you prefer egg rolls with vegetables these won't be for you. We also ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with special fried rice and chicken and Chinese broccoli flat noodles. Everything was cooked perfectly. I just found the flat noodles needed a little salt.“

“Pretty decent place for a local sushi/ asian fusion place where you can enjoy japanese/chinese/thai food at the place. The selection of dishes are available widely. I am hoping that that have enough ingredients for everything on the menu. Tonight they ran out of Hamachi Kama and Beef Negimaki. But we still enjoye the Shrimp Lomein a tad salty, awesome rock shrimp, the special rools are nice and taste fresh. Soft shell crab tempura is nice and crunchy served with mixed veggie tempura. We had the Rainbow roll and the age tofu and the sauce are decent. The salmon skin salad i can still taste the bitter part of the skin but the kani salad with apple is nice to have.“
