“Just visited Katy Westgreen location for 1st time and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken katsu mini meal and was so happy to find a chicken katsu which was moist and tender and not turned into shoe leather. Rice was cooked perfectly and was tasty, the cabbage under the katsu was cooked well, but the mac salad was a little bland. Best ive had in a long time including at sit down Japanese restaurants and puts Hawaiaan fast food competitors like L & L and Ono to shame. Menu was not extensive so hope everything else is as good. Dining room was clean, bright and cheery with cute large beach mural. I've lived in Hawaii and Japan, and am looking forward to another visit to try their curry.“

“Food was really good portions were large. We both enjoyed our meal. But honestly, whoever is in charge of the place needs to get it together Soda machine is out of order. Couldn’t even get a glass of water so I had to pay over five dollars for two cans of Dr Pepper (which that cooler was either broken or not plugged in so I had to get a cup of ice). The sauces were empty. My girlfriend went to bring the teriyaki up for a refill and her hand was stuck onto it and all they did is fill it up and give it back to her nasty and sticky. And I literally had to push my trash into the can because it was overflowing with the door was open… It was 4 o’clock or so when we went in so and we were the only ones in there so I know the staff could’ve had had time to take care of all of this“
