“Took my wife here for the first time since we both are huge fans of sushi. We got the Kai for 2, and I'll say it's absolutely worth it. By far the best sushi we have had!!! I might have to come here at least once a month, this is my new favorite place.”

“Regina, you absolutely wowed us and our guests this past Thursday at our wedding. Everyone including us were saying this was the best cake they ever had in their life! This has to be the highest compliment for you. Your cake was just flawless, and you made it exactly like the picture we gave you. The taste, the texture, the level of sweetness, everything was perfect! To everyone out there I highly recommend the following combination: almond flavored cake with coconut buttercream, WOW! P.S: the macarons that were on the cake were also the best we’ve ever had!”
“this a very nice find near home, the atmosphere is nice, the drinks are good, the bartheners make them very well. The ChiveTrivia game that plays there is so fun, definitely a draw for us, we will be regulars there.”
“Large amount of seating in an "industrial" building with bright large windows. Great tasting pour over coffee and very good, reasonably priced breakfast tacos. We'd come back!”

“These are hands down the best hot dogs my family and I have ever had. My kids don’t normally like dogs but LOVE these! My favorite is the Chicago Dog, the owner uses her own home made relish which just puts it over the TOP!”

“I had Brooklyn Heights for the first time a week ago and it was amazing. Loved the food. The staff and the atmosphere. Loved it so much, I went back the next day. Thanks for being awesome!”
“So good it makes we want to move here. I was in the area visiting from out of town- and was extremely impressed by the selection in this store. The variety, of higher quality snacks and drinks- specialty items even. The staff is very friendly. The store is clean, doesn’t smell. Overall just really impressed-that I took the time to write this review says enough.”
“*********You don’t need a membership, have to dress up or join a club, play golf or have any specific reason to eat here!!!***********I think some people think you have to play golf to come here but you can just park and pop in anytime you want. It’s a solid place to eat that just happens to be at the golf course. The restaurant is on the cozy side inside and has a large outdoor porch with great views. Awesome, well stocked bar with liquor, wine, and a large selection of beer both on tap and in cans/bottles.Everything I tasted was GREAT. Had two dishes that may be the best I’ve ever had. The fried mozzarella was different from your traditional fried mozzarella sticks. It’s hunk of mozz cut and fried in a triangular shape. It came over a bed of peppers and onions which gave eating it a variety of different bites and flavors. Because it was one larger piece instead of sticks, it stayed nice and melty the entire time I was eating it. Sooooooo gooooood. I also had a BLT made with COLOSSAL bacon. Bacon had to be a 1/8” thick and was incredibly tasty. It came on a hoagie(sub) roll which is different that toast but trust me it worked out well. I’ve eaten a lot of BLTs and this was at the top of the list. Prices were very fair especially considering how good everything was.If you are looking for a different spot to add to your favorites, pop on in and give them a shot.”

“While I had a "boring" order of a simple oatmilk latte, the menu looked very unique and fun! The different syrups and flavors they have here are unlike any I've seen around, next time I will need to take my taste buds on an adventure and explore the options on the menu for sure! That being said the oatmilk latte was good - different in a sense that the oatmilk used seems to be an unsweetened original type, no added flavors, etc. which doesn't bother me but different from Starbucks oatmilk (for example) who I believe uses a sweeter type of oatmilk. Either way, the coffee was delicious, the man working the trailer was super friendly and nice, and while there was a bit of a wait, it was worth it!We went on a Tuesday morning at 9 (*sorry original post said they close at 10:30 but that was incorrect) and there weren't too many people there. The trailer sits in a like a cute trailer park with Airbnbs and other types of trailers. Our kids had a blast playing on the open lawn and searching for snails for almost 3 hours! An added bonus is walking across to the Tacos de Prisa trailer to pick up some good old tacos. Breakfast complete!”

“Small place with very friendly folks. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Limited menu but the brews were excellent. Just wish they were served colder though. The food from the Indian food truck was great, will try the other options next time”

“This eatery has hands down the BEST chicken wings I've ever eaten! I ordered their garlic & Parmesan wings and BBQ wings. I got five of each + Cajun fries and a fried pickle. For the price, my order was an extremely good value which I appreciate as much as the delicious food. Plus, I was offered tastings of alcoholic drinks-- yum!! And the staff is the friendliest I've met this year. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. And I'm excited about returning Saturday night when there's a DJ and the ambiance on the patio looks inviting”

“Super friendly ladies worked here, delicious tacos, chill outdoor atmosphere! I met up with a friend here with our littles and she's not a taco fan (*gasp* ...she's not from around here). I ordered an egg, sausage, cheese, and avocado taco, and the Rusty Taco, and she ordered an egg, cheese, bacon, and avocado taco. Y'all, she literally went back for another taco! I also ordered a bean and cheese taco for my kids, which my oldest (4) promptly ate up, and asked for more, then I ordered a side of bacon and my non-meat eating youngest (2 years) ate that + another side of bacon. So I believe that accurately reflects the tacos sold here. Yum.We went on a Tuesday morning at 9 (they closed around 10:30) and there weren't too many people there. The trailer sits in a like a cute trailer park with Airbnbs and other types of trailers. Our kids had a blast playing on the open lawn and searching for snails for almost 3 hours! Hubs and I have managed to eat this whole cake in a matter of days. I love that this location is open late so after we get pizza next door we can get cookies or ice cream. Always Friendly Service, your treated like Family (Those members of you family you want to see anyway). Everything on the Menu is great and I've tried almost everything on it, I'm told that even goes for the "Crispy Brussel's" although on those I cannot attest because even Maggie's is not going to get me to eat Brussel Sprouts. “Wanted tempura but didn't want to mess with it at home. So we thought we'd try this place, close to home. It was a great choice! We ordered a variety of appetizers, and each one was very good to excellent. The dressing on the sumomoto salad is more than just ponzu, it's like a hint of flowers with it, the spicy tuna tacos are a smart idea and fun, the Heart Attack is rich with avo and cream cheese, and the belly was tender and mild teriyaki flavored, just delicious. Large amount of tempura for an app too, and Jay was attentive and polite, thank you, Jay. My only complaint is the paper napkin, smaller and thinner than I needed. The prices, though, are excellent in today's world, and we'll be returning to sit at the sushi bar next time. Go try it, you won't be disappointed.”
“From what I hear, Chano's Tacos is a well-rated place over in Georgetown. So it's nice to see that they've opened up a second location in Leander. Chano's Tacos #2 is located inside the Shell Gas Station at the intersection of Hero Way and Ronald Reagan Blvd. I didn't see any signage indicating this but trust me, it's in there. Among other things there's a wide open serving area and about a dozen chairs by the window, so it takes up a sizable footprint on its own. I can see why - it was crowded with hungry construction workers at noon when I went. I got the 3-taco plate for $8 in order to try their chicken, al pastor, and barbacoa tacos. This comes with rice and beans, though you have to buy your drink separately from the gas station store. This isn't a problem since you have to pay for your meal at the gas station register in any case. The bean and rice portions are a little skimpy, which is a shame since they're excellent - the beans have flavor, and the rice wasn't too wet or overdone. The order was also mishandled slightly in that I asked for onions and cilantro. But the taco portions are good sized and all tasty - the chicken's plain without the aforementioned o & c, but the al pastor's quite good. In fact the barbacoa's damned good even though it dripped enough excess grease to lube a tractor! Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby and jonesing for an honest taco. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.”
“Found this place by random when checking out the local Mexican meat market. I was super impressed with the bread and truly enjoyed it. I would for sure be going back again. I do agree with others that the selection is not big but had the most popular bread.”

“My husband and I came here for the first time 3/8/24. We had eyed this place before but due to my food issues, it didn’t seem like I could get much to eat. Well, they changed the menu since we looked a while ago. We gambled and decided to go. We showed up right at the end of happy hour, so a couple of things were a bit cheaper. So many things sounded great on the new menu but I wasn’t sure how they cooked them. I let our server Emily know so had a dairy issue and she sent Adam over to have a chat. We started with the Mesquite Smoked Brussels & the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta. Sorry we were hungry and I forgot the photos. I moved the cheese off the bruschetta and it was still delicious! I do not care for brussel sprouts but let me tell you, they sure were yummy! I had the Maryland Style Crab Cakes cooked in oil vs butter. The hubby had the Texas Carbonara and they were both delicious and we highly recommend both. They catered to my dairy issue, but if I paid attention to my minor gluten issue I think I would have struggled a bit. I could likely have had the Venison Lettuce Wraps but I didn’t check since I stopped Adam at the crab cakes. The atmosphere was pleasant, noise level just fine, bathrooms were clean. We will be back for sure! Thank you Emily and Adam for your help and excellent service!Dietary restrictions: See my review for restrictions. Thanks for reading!”

“This very unassuming Sushi restaurant in a shopping center is not your usual sushi joint. The effort they put into the melding of flavors, quality of ingredients and service is way above what I would expect. Their dishes were very creative mix of flavors and ingredients. My barometer on these places is how they perform on Age Dashi Tofu and Shrimp Tempura. Their tempura batter on their rock shrimp was texture perfect and the tofu fried just right in a great sauce, both hit high notes with me, so we dug into the menu with multiple dishes. One of my favorites was the Salmon Lover's role was a combination of magical flavors and the most perfect rice. No soy or wasabi needed! They also know how to treat toro! Service was great with the staff taking the time to talk to you and suggesting items and also knowing their Sake. It is always nice not to be directed to the most expensive bottle on the list (we had the unfiltered White Silk). This place is a gem and for me who eats at many sushi places, reasonbly priced. A bit of a drive in Leander if you aren't in the new developments off Ronald Regan, especially from Georgetown and Cedar Park but well worth it. This place will be a regular on the list!”
