“Had a great lunch at RCG yesterday. It was a quiet Tuesday and the staff were all friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough, with fries. Sandwich was delicious -- bread was buttery and toasty, the chicken salad moist and tasty with a bit of kick, even the lettuce was crisp and fresh. And the fries! So crunchy and super hot, served with both ketchup and a house-made fry sauce that was divine. I'll be going back.“

“I usually don't go to new restaurants until after they have been open for a few months. I stopped in a whim and enjoyed lunch immensely. The chicken fried chicken was nice and juicy. I liked that the chicken wasn't pounded flat. The garlic green beans were super garlicky l, just the way I like them! Lots of butter on the green beans too. I ordered the chicken strips to go for my son. He said they were pretty good and the fries were excellent.“

“Anvil is, without a doubt, my favorite cocktail bar. And that's not just within Houston. The consistent quality of their cocktails is simply unrivaled. They have a rotating selection of featured cocktails, but half the time I order from their list of 100 classics because they craft them to near-perfection (sometimes perfection, if I'm being honest). Yesterday, I tried a new one containing shōchū, reposado tequila, and black sesame... my adjectives wouldn't do justice to the simple elegance and brilliance of that cocktail. They don't offer happy hour nor outdoor seating. There are probably ~15-20 seats at the bar and then 8-12 booths along the windows, each of which fits 4-5 people. The bartenders are always amazing, their knowledge of the craft is impressive. At the end of the day, Anvil isn't trying to rope you in with trendy fads nor great deals. But I suspect you'll be back for a return visit, because they're serving the highest-quality cocktails in town“

“What can I say.. there are no words to describe how amazing the food is here. I personally love the Cep Jen but everything on the menu is so tasty and fresh. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The portion sizes are perfect. The service is exceptional. This is honestly the best African food in Houston to be honest. They’ve been consistent in service and food. Keep it up guys!!“

“Prime is, hands down, our favorite kosher eatery in Houston. The owners immediately made sure we felt a warm welcome, even coming by with a taste of traditional arak and lemon drink. And the food! We started with the carrot and jalapeno salad, babaganush and beets - all excellent. Then we both got the "cheeseburger" which was served on a delicious (homemade?) bun, all sorts of traditional and no so other topping options. Yum. Yum. Yum.Then I saw the dessert choices and (while, darn, I'm on serious diet) I couldn't resist. I got the hot apple cake topped with parve vanilla ice cream and my daughter got the hot chocolate on chocolate cake with ice cream. The perfect ending. Slept like a baby! We'll be back next week“

“So pleasantly surprised by this place! They have a nice patio that I brought my dog to. The brussel sprouts are so good, would come just for this. The bread is also delicious, I think it's focaccia. I tried the pesto gnocchi, which was really tasty and came with a giant dollop of ricotta, which I always love. I'm interested in trying all the other menu options!“

I sat at the chef bar admiring his work and delicious food coming out! Staff was all very pleasant, the manager Boris was attentive and friendly. Overall experience was excellent.Let’s discuss food! I had a lovely pasta with white wine sauce and muscles. Topped with Fresh parsley. Soooo delicious! Very light for a pasta exactly what I wanted. “Overall a great spot especially for date night as has a very romantic atmosphere with good food. The miso salmon was really good and the side salad with it was on point as well. Decent wine selection as well. The service seemed a bit rushed especially for a quiet Monday night. The food did come out really quick which was nice but they tried to take the unfinished plates a few times which was odd. Then when finished and enjoying the wine they brought the check so just made it seems like they wanted to kick you out quick. “My first time here, not only were we sat at a great section (seating is everything to me/it’s a vibe) but I had Keanon which made the entire experience freaking PHENOMENAL!!!!! I’m so picky with cocktails so I always order a dirty martini to be safe (trust me, restaurants do mess that up) but the cocktails were so good, well shaken. Keanon was so intuitive and checked in periodically without being overbearing where we felt like it’s a low key hint that I leave. Love Keanon and will request/visit soon!!Food isn’t great but atmosphere and service is everything. That’s my struggle when choosing a date -night restaurant. Atmosphere was great, drinks were awesome, food is mediocreService and atmosphere here is 10. Food…go to your nearest fav spot after leaving this place.“

“Cozy coffee shop with a delightful staff that was warm, welcoming, and engaging. They have a fantastic vibe with a variety of different drink choices, from your classic espresso drinks to a host of international choices, from café de olla cold brew, to taro cold brew (pictured here), to an upcoming summer ube latte. They also have cocktails and other non-coffee alcoholic options like beer, cider, and wine available that I’ll return to try.They have plenty of bar seating around the espresso bar as well as against the windows, as well as a couple of couches.I immediately wanted to come back.Parking: Probably a dozen parking spots“

“Had my birthday and 1 year law firm anniversary celebration here and everyone loved it!! Angelica was our host and she made sure everything was taken care of! All of my guests were attended to and everyone told me about how helpful and personable she was! She kept the party flowing effortlessly!!! She was phenomenal through and through so shoutout to her! The food was delicious per usual! A lot of my guests had never dined at five central before and everyone kept saying how I made a great location choice because the food was so good! “Hungry's is a great place for casual outdoor or indoor dining, drinks with friends, or just catching the game. Our dinner choices were hamburgers with fries and tacos with Cuban beans. Both were delicious. Our waiter was attentive and kept our drinks topped off. It was nice to sit out on the top deck. We'll done, Hungry's.“

“I've been wanting to come here for a while. So glad I finally decided to stop by. First, service is great. All the staff was very attentive and our food came out quickly and hot. We had the wings, spicy goat pizza, pork belly, fish and chips, and burger. Everything was delicious and the portions are very generous. The fish and chips are made with flounder and the batter was nice and crispy, not greasy at all. The wings were top notch. Very juicy and very well seasoned. These are sold be the pound and the pound is about 6 wings. The burger was very juicy and the fries were nice and crispy. The star of the show was the pizza. Goat cheese and the habanero glaze go together so well. The dough is top notch. Sourdough that is left to set for 72 hours. Dry and crunchy! The pork belly is very well done as well. Not too rich, nice and balanced. For dessert we had the bread pudding with ice cream. Very good as well. Lots of creative drinks as well. We were all left thoroughly impressed and can't wait to come back. Also, parking is available right across the street.Parking: Across the street“

“Zanti Italian has quickly become my favorite new restaurant in Houston. This is my 3rd visit and it's always fantastic! Everything is homemade and the ambience is wonderful. I highly recommend the beef ravioli and pistachio icecream. They have a wonderful piano player on weekends. Zanti is wonderful for birthday celebrations too. They gave my friend a complimentary cake with a sparkler on top. So much fun!“

“Best daiquiris. I’ve had. They better than Bourbon St. Daiquiris, Daiquiris to Geaux. Candy Shack. Eskimo Hut and Fat Tuesdays. They add shots that get you right.. “This is a restaurant in regular rotation in my dining life. The food is excellent. Service is efficient and unintrusive. The prices at lunch, are bundled for combos and more than fair. And I have noticed that for evening dining experiences, when the lunch specials are no longer available, there is an upgraded look and feel to all aspects of the food, atmosphere and service which feels like a better justification than just the “time of day” basis for the higher dinner prices.“

“Toasted Coconut is a vibe: great cocktails, delicious food, fun atmosphere. We come here quite often and have rarely been disappointed by anything on the menu. My boyfriend says their burger is the best in Houston. I'm vegetarian and have always been happy with the veggie options - especially the sweet and sour cauliflower. Tropic like it's hot is my go to cocktail order, but I've liked everything I've tried and they also had holiday cocktails at Christmas. The real star of the menu though is dessert. The pies are amazing. I don't think the Nobie's pastry chef makes them (it's the same owners), but they're up there. “What can I say? Every time I visit, Bari it’s an amazing experience. The service is second to none, the food is perfectly tied and perfectly cooked. The salmon and the pizza are to die for. I’m looking forward to going back again soon.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go relax. I charge my Taycan at the dealership then head on over. Steven and his team are FANTASTIC! They are always creating new drinks, so I'd recommend asking them to create one for you (mixologist) instead of ordering off the menu. But either way, you're going to enjoy your cocktail. But to be honest, not really a fan of all the college kids hanging out there like it's a freaking Starbucks. A bar is a BAR. But I still love Podium and Steven and his team.“

“Our favorite Thai place in Houston! The server was especially helpful making sure we avoided peanuts as one in our party has an allergy. We ventured beyond our standards --Drunken Noodles with beef and Pad Thai with chicken, which were great as always. This time we also got Thai Meatballs and Fried dumplings, which we enjoyed. We also tried the Chili Basil Stirfry with beef and vegetables - so yummy! Their beef is really tender. Can't wait until we go again!“

“Security. Park at your own risk. We were parked directly in front of the club and someone broke into our vehicle, busted the window and stole items. The club's security didn't care to walk to the curb to see the crime and vandalism.“

“El Marisquero is finally open and it did not disappoint, my favorite dish is their 10oz ribeye with its flavorful mushroom sauce. Their octopus and shrimp tostada is delicious, the seafood is very fresh and their chipotle mayo sauce ties it all together. Ask for their green salsa!! Last but not least their drinks: I had a watermelon drink I believe it's called the pink lady? Not sure but it's watermelon & it's delicious, their michelada are also very good as well as their margaritas. They also have daily week day specials!“

“The ambiance and food was amazing. I had the snapper topped with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce with Brussel sprouts and spinach Mac and cheese. The dish was well seasoned and insanely delicious. The deviled eggs were ok, the bacon brought a nice flavor to it. 9/10 on food The decor looked like something out of the early 1900s which was great to me because it was very very classy. The chairs were low and I didn't like that. But they were comfortable. 7.5/10 on seating. The music was great, I love the classics, temptations, motown, al green and such so this was right up my alley. Definitely a place for the grown and fine. I'm not sure if there's a dress code but everyone was classy, no booty outside and sagging. I recommend.“

“I really liked their menu, would like to try nachos next time. Got burgers, mushroom and classic smashburhees. The bread was good, and needed to be large because the burger weight was heavy. You need to be rather hungry to finish a burger, I ate half of mine, but my husband ate all of his plus fries. I really thought the sautéed onions were excellent, as well as the mushrooms.“

“We went on a Wednesday and didn't know they had a special for 1/2 off wine bottles for wine wednesday! Ended up sharing three bottles of the prosecco rufino. Loved the calamari appetizer and the steak bites. The tuna roll was below our expectation (but everything else made up for it!). Chipotle mango chicken was delicious. Very good portions for the price, will be returning. A bit crowded for lunch on a random Wednesday, though service was solid. Great location and parking was easy. Valet is available as well.“

“The atmosphere was great and the food was great! I went for lunch with some coworkers and no one was disappointed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The ordering was a new experience, there was not a waiter per se. All orders were done online via scanning a QR code with our phones. While I was skeptical of this at first, the service and time at which I submitted my order until my drinks were coming out were unbelievably fast. As soon as I confirmed my order there was a lady there handing me drinks. The food came out quickly as well. Overall it was a great experience! Out of the 6 people in my party, 5 of us completely cleaned our plates and the last person took very little to go. I will be going back here!“

“Absolutely great seafood. I had the #9 , a fish fillet simmered In Mexican spices, bell peppers and onions. The large guacamole salad was just as good as the meal. Do not put salt on it before you taste it. I did and shouldn't have. The food came out fast and the waitress kept asking if I needed anything. The ambiance is the same as McDonald's. Go for the food and consider getting it to go.“

“I found my new lil duck off spot!!! My bestie and I arrived at 3pm (that's when they open). We were greeted by two nice gentlemen behind the bar. We were allowed to sit wherever because we were the first to arrive. The venue is very cozy but chic. There is plenty of seating indoors and on the outside terrace area. The service was fast, and our waiter Christopher was amazing. Though Christopher was our waiter, there were at least 2 other gentlemen who stopped by to check on us. They really know how to make a girl feel special. It was a very welcomed change of scenery for us. It wasn't overcrowded, and it appeared to be a nice spot for professionals who want to wine down after work in a relaxed setting. The cherry on top of this amazing experience was the tab. I purchased a bottle of wine, 12 wings, crab mac n cheese,some amazing brussel sprouts, and molten lava cake for a bill ($100). I'm sold, I'm a fan and a patron. I love it here, don't change a thing. “Beautiful bar. Love the smell of real leather when you walk in from their furniture. You have to pay with quarters to play the single pool table or darts . The music and vibe was nice. Different sports games playing through out the place. I only got a shot so I can’t rate their mixed drinks but they look good . 2 shots 2 draft beers and a $8 was little over $40. Good prices“

“Only one thing was less than perfection...first table where they sat us had the AC dripping onto the table. The thought of that dripping into our food caused us to request a different table. The next table had the fortunate blessing of Jenn as our waitress. She was as amazing as the food. The garlic truffle bread will be the subject of my dreams from now on.
