I worked here for over 8 months and worked my way up to being a shift leader. As soon as the old manager Scott Olger left the store, the loving and peaceful work environment completely went down hill. They hired a new manager named Matt. From that point on, anytime a costumer had any type of issue, it was handled in the most completely disrespectful and unprofessional way. I left Jimmy Johns because of Matt, and just yesterday my girlfriend (who also has worked there for over 8 months) left as well, due to the fact that she was bullied by 2 co-workers. Matts response to the bullying going on in his shop was that "they were just joking". What kind of person looks at the word "fatass" as a joke. Let me remind you my girlfriend is pregnant and hormonal, so she did not take this word lightly. She called me crying asking to be picked up. So people let me just tell you if you are experiencing any new issues with this store i assure you it is because of their new manager Matt. I have heard many rumors that Matt frequently smokes meth, and to be quit honest you can see it all over his face and attitude. Matt is also very unstable, used to be a marine, brings his gun to work, and half the time leaves it in a bag in the back office open for any employee to grab. Regardless if this review is deleted or not, i will be contacting corporate.
