“Just wanted to say DANNA is a superstar. I caught her doing 3-4 tasks at a time with ease while everyone around her was doing 1. Not to speak negatively on the rest of her team, I could just see her work ethic shining! She kept everything flowing so smoothly. I hope managment recognizes her hard work frequently; She needs a raise or managment position.“

“Recently celebrated Bella's birthday at Happy Lamb Hot Pot and it was fantastic! The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food options, including very high-quality beef and succulent king crab legs. The service was excellent, and the ambiance added to the joyous occasion, making it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend for any special celebration or casual dinner outing!“

“Alings is an Indian-Chinese fusion restaurant. My party and I split a variety of dishes, all which she recommended including the Szechwan noodles, Szechwan fries, chili pepper tofu, and vegetarian Manchurian. All of these dishes were very flavorful and there was a nice kick of spice in each of these dishes. The "fusion" was perfect and I couldnt anticipate how good these flavors would be together . In particular, my favorite dish was the vegetarian Manchurian which was fried cauliflower covered in a delicious spicy sauce with scallions and onions. Next time I am back in Houston I will for sure come back here!“

“My sister and I happened upon this bright shop and it is now one of my favorite places to go for noodle soup. Friendly boss + waiter serving food quickly‼ ️, he really goes out of his way to make sure you get the best bowl of tomato ? rice noodle soup ?I was most impressed with how well done the brisket was; the texture was lumpy; not too chewy when eaten. The tomatoes ? were well marinated in the soup and they really complemented the noodles when eaten together. I also thought that everything went into the gravy very smoothly, so that really completed the whole noodle soup ? experience. The soup is rich and flavorful; you can actually taste the layers of it (˶'ᵕ'˶)“

“Halal or not, the food here is simply amazing. So far, I tried their roti, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, fried rice, and various curry dishes - everything was amazing and the portions were satisfying. The Tom Yum soup here is superb. I would rate it in my top three for sure. I tend to select a spice level too high for me and regret it in the end, so beware and learn from my mistake! Level 3 out of 5 is perfection. The service during our last visit was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. Service makes a huge difference in overall experience. Interior is ok. Lots of cultural decorations and murals. Lots of natural lighting. No major wow factor but it's all about the food and service. They have specials on certain days of the week (I think either tTuesday or Thursday), so if you want a deal, something to consider.“

“Since the last time we had dinner at PF Chang's the menu has condensed CONSIDERABLY. It is just a small one page front and back with limited dishes where many items seem no longer on the menu. Though not a vegetarian, their Tofu lettuce wraps always were tastier than the chicken ; however, they are no longer on the menu, but still very popular so they made it for us. Not the same at all. Sake only comes in one size vs small & large... but you can have 1 or 2 cups. Ughhh Everything else was nice - Waiter, ambience, and main meal.“

“I ordered sizzling beef. Excellent flavor and very very delicious. Staff was super nice and attentive. My wife ordered a tofu like soup, she said it was above average byt tastey. The string potato sauce dish was very good. The dry pot cauliflower dish was also very yummy. I believe that this is a very hidden gem. Only 2 issues: 1. We came here for stinky tofu but the chef who makes it was on vacation. So we couldn't order it. The other issue was the rice was not as fresh as I would have liked. Maybe I am spoiled having a zojirushi rice cooker, but ever few bites would get a hard piece of rice. Wasn't enough to give lower score though.Vegetarian options: ManyDietary restrictions: GoodParking: PlentyKid-friendliness: Very niceWheelchair accessibility: Fine“

“The foods here are very, very good! I ordered the beef tripe hotpot noodle, deep-fried pork belly, and beef potato curry with rice. The foods are very flavorful, and the broth in my individual hot pot is very good as well. I only had 1 chili pepper for the spicy level, and it’s spicy enough for my taste. The deep fried pork belly is crjnch and will go good with boba tea ???. Definitely will come back for more to try other on the menu.“

“Top notch chinese hot pot! We ordered 3 broth (spicy, chicken and pork), deluxe beef and lamb and assortment of veggie. Everything tasted great. Their sauce bar has everything too, including desserts. Price is really fair. Every now and then someone was checking on us - super friendly staff. Also great ambience with some traditional interior design - fully recommend this spot!“

“The xiao long bao is good but not amazing. Scallion beef was delicious, and so was the scallion pancake. Service was very good, nice sweet ladies. One thing to note, the server will ask for 20% tip. We didn’t mind giving that because 20% is becoming the new standard and the service was good. But this may rub people the wrong way.“

“If you want authentic Chinese food look no further. One of my biggest pet peeves with Chinese food in the states is the overly greasy and salty dishes. You won’t run into that here. The ingredients are fresh, the food is light and wholesome that comes in very generous portions. We will definitely be back!“

“Great little place we happened to find because their outdoor sign said, “$2.50 for beer”! ? So of course we went. We didn’t get food; we got two beer towers.➕The place also has karaoke!! So you can inp it your songs from the machine selection and sing away to restaurant guests. My bf and I perform sometimes so the crowd was loving it!“

“order clear soup pot + lamb scorpion + white-cut lamb shoulder, with cabbage + radish + red bean cake + naan, they are all very good, my favorite is the white-cut lamb shoulder, fresh and mellow, the ratio of bones, meat, fat and tendons is just right , I would like to try the roasted whole lamb if I have the chance.“

“The Peking Duck tasted good but quite pricey. It’s only allowed to order the whole duck from the restaurant, not allowed to order the half duck. The whole roasted duck is for $45 now, and it came with the duck soup. The flour tortillas for wrapping the sliced duck meat and scallion were too thick and the sauce was a bit salty though. The service here was fine. The staff members came to check on us for several times. But I would not say they were friendly, as I did not see the smile on their face all the time when checking on us. They looked so serious.Parking: The parking lot is quite big.“

“"No English on the menu" is one rule of thumb for picking authentic Chinese food in the U.S., and TJ Food is the place, seriously.Jian bing guo zi (the featured food), you tiao, soy milk, and roasted chestnuts are sooooo dammnnn goooood!Yysy, Everything is AUTHENTIC in the Chinese traditional way. “Had a hankering for fried rice. The rice was decent, kinda bland but still edible/good. Never had scallion pancakes before and that was pretty good as well. The only thing I noticed is my total. I paid $20.37 for a pickup order. But on the receipt upon receiving my order was $18.47. So that sends off red flags in my head. Probably won’t return because of that.“

“Found this place from an instagram reel. It's a little further out, it was easy to find parking, and the food was really flavorful, fresh, and delicious! Service was friendly too. We went at a weird hour but food came out fast. Portions were big and we were struggling to finish. Oil splashed noodles have a lot of garlic though, great for taste, maybe not so much if you're on a date.“

“Went here with my cousin today, the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous! You start with a chicken dish (we got medium spice/size) and it was more than enough for two people to share. The flavor was phenomenal. I particularly liked the onions. After you finish your first dish, they come by and fill your bowl with chicken broth, turning it into a delicious hot pot. All sides you can add on are generous as well. Overall, wonderful experience. We will be coming back for sure!“

“I feel lucky to live so close to Mama's Kitchen, definitely a comfort food spot for me. I love the spicy chicken cube dish, and all the stir fry vegetable dishes. Food comes out super quick too! Large portions which is normal for Sichuan cuisine, so it's nice to dine with a large group. But I don't mind the leftovers either when it's just 2 or 3 of us. I've also had the boiled fish, cumin lamb, dan dan noodles - they were all very good. Need to try new items next time, but it's hard when I already have favorites If you like spicy food, definitely recommend. If spicy is not your thing, try their fried rice with shrimp. Another delicious dish!“

“We dined here last night and our experience was amazing. We started with their manchow soup which had authentic Indian-Chinese heat and flavors. ? loved it.We then ordered their paneer tandoori momos, they were crisp, well cooked in their tandoori masala marinade. Portion is enough for 3 people. Their green chutney is delicious and goes well with the momos. ?We decided to go for fried rice with Manchurian, which was alright. I have definitely had better, but their Manchurian were soft and tasted good. Skip the fried rice, but definitely try their Manchurian dry.We ended our dinner with veg kheema biryani, which was the ultimate winner. Perfectly spiced, soya nuggets cooked to perfection, not too oily, and the portion size is huge. We had biryani leftovers that tasted even better the next day at home. If you like vegetarian kheema ?or skip meat for a change do give it a try.Overall everything was good, i would definitely go again. It’s just their menus that felt sticky and some pages even had soy sauce on it ?“

“Lots of people for Saturday dinnerBraised food is deliciousOyster omelette seems to be missing something without chili sauceMy favorite is salt and pepper fish filletThe sizzling chicken was okay, I forgot it seemed a bit saltyThe dinner at 6:30 on Wednesday was already crowdedThe small bowl of shredded ginger and fish fillet porridge can feed three people (thanks to my aunt for reminding me not to order more)The fried rice noodles with kale and chicken turned out to be wet instead of dry. But because it was stir-fried, it was surprisingly delicious! The sizzling tamagoyaki tofu is also delicious! The salt and pepper fish fillet is fried differently from the one I ordered last year (see picture). It is delicious, but it is too oily and I don’t dare to eat more.Although the aunts are very busy, the service is quite attentive and they don't make their faces smelly.Next time I want to try preserved vegetable omelette, seafood porridge, sweet potato pancakes, and fried shrimp balls! Soup must be ordered in advance“

“JJ Garden was just about a decent experience and it looks nicer from the outside. When you walk inside, you walk straight through the majority of the tables on the way to the register. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does inhibit the space of others eating. The menu is put well together and is priced appropriately and so I'll award credit for that. I ordered the Tangy and Spicy Chicken, and it was that, but the taste was faint and at least to me it was not spicy. With that entrée comes both a soup and a egg roll or spring roll. I got the hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The soup was not watery but it also wasn't the most flavorful, and so as a result I'll dub it a "solid" soup. The spring roll was better than the soup and I would also describe it as solid, but it's also very basic and I could call it mass produced. In regards to the food I might be a bit biased, but this is still just an opinion. The last note I'll add is on the service. The food came out within 10ish minutes of being order and was hot.All and all, I'd recommend this only to those residing near it and those looking for a quick and cheap lunch meal.“

“I went here only by the reviews I read. Then once I decided to go I realize it was in my neighborhood and I was glad about that cause I am new to Houston and I hadn't had any Chinese food since I left home. I was hoping it was delicious and some of it was. I got sesame seed, chicken with brown rice and crab puff. The Sesame Chicken was delicious the fried rice was ok and the Egg Rolls was delicious and the sweet and sour sauce was delicious but the crab puff was just warm cream cheese no crab.Egg Rolls,Crab Rangoon,House Fried Rice,Sesame Chicken.“

“The cuisine here is exceptional, particularly the variety of dumplings on offer, which I highly recommend. My rating is four stars; the food certainly warrants five, but the owner seemed quite displeased on the day of my visit. It's unclear why there was a lack of hospitality, but I believe that everyone can have an off day. Despite this, I'd still suggest giving this place a try.“
