I've always went to have Boudin balls because they are the closest to the ones in Louisiana however, now it's only during the week at a certain time. I couldn't get a po-boy either!!“

Been there probably a dozen times and it's always good ,service is good the place is small but kept clean. They always seem to have a stream of customers picking up orders to go , so I guess their take out service is on point. I gave it a five star, because it met all I'm looking for in a food service establishment,clean,good service,good food ,and fair prices. I always go by myself because my wife doesn't like seafood other than lobster.“

I usually eat at the bar with friends, but since I was with my mom, we asked if we could sit on the patio since it was a nice day they got us a table ready asap. “I am addicted! I go to Happy crab at least once a week. It's the shrimp and crawfish boil in buttery garlic for me! It's the best around' and if you try their crawfish/shrimp fried rice you will never go anywhere else for fried rice. It's that good!“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! The loaded oysters with garlic bread were amazing!! We got the seafood combo with shrimp and crab cakes. The crab cakes were good and the shrimp were awesome!! The red beans and rice was great too. They gave us complimentary cornbread bites, and since it was our first time there, they also gave us delicious beignets on the house. We also got the rum punch and a strawberry martini and the drinks were just as great as the food. We will be back very soon!“

Seriously the food is always made to perfection, the cooks there know exactly how to remain consistent, I am an excellent cook by God's grace and I know good food when I taste it . “We had great service from a friendly staff. My husband loved his grilled oysters and the blue crabs he ordered. I enjoyed the tamarind shrimp- very delicious! Fried rice was bland so I wouldn’t get that next time. Overall great place!“

“We stopped in the Stafford restaurant for lunch today. Though nice, our waitress was either distracted or something because she didn't quite take care to ensure we had a good experience. For instance, I ordered raspberry tea, but got unsweetened plain tea instead. The "fresh" bread that was brought to us was cold and hard, and when our food came, the baked potatoes were barely luke-warm. Our waitress disappeared, so we asked another waiter, a young man named Mekhi (sp?) for help, and he was fantastic! He took care of all of our food issues even though we were not in his section. It was very a slow day, so there was no reason that our orders were not on-point. Hopefully, this is just a one-off, and won't happen to anyone else.“

“Why go to Pappadeaux when you can get the same quality and portions for half the price. Yeah you give up a little in the area of atmosphere and it's in an area of town that might trouble you, but I've always chosen a restaurant on the basis of taste of food and the price for that quality of food. It IS the BEST Cajun food you're gonna get for the money. The owner often services your table and is flexible to menu variations. I hope he gets confident enough to open up another restaurant in a safer part of town. I know he will do well if he can just get people in there.“

“I’m picky about my seafood, but the Lobster Primavera with garlic bread was absolutely delicious! It was a HUGE portion, and I barely finished half! Hubby got the Seafood gumbo with sausage (with blue crab pieces in it) and topped it off with Louisiana Hot Sauce which left him singing praises after the first bite!!! He and my daughter shared 2 lbs. of crawfish, and she also got the crab and shrimp pasta-which she took home most of it since there was so much! Definitely another visit is being planned, as we drove over an hour to eat there! Summary- Absolutely one of the best seafood places we’ve been to with the sweetest waitress and her parents checking on us several times to see if we needed anything else! “My daughter and I are fairly new to the area and we wanted to taste some seafood. We ordered the loaded fries with a seafood topping.The food was good, very favorable. A little salty but it may have just been me since I don’t generally put salt in my food.The staff was patient and informative with explaining the menu food choices. Lexi was our server, & we would like to thank her for going above & beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. Lexi was an absolute excellent waitress in every way. We had a party of about 17-18 seniors, and Lexi's service to us was impeccable & handled with much grace. “Happen to be in the area in Richmond and ran across this restaurant. I ordered the penne pasta with oxtail .. The best item I have ever eaten anywhere.The pasta was cooked to perfection. There was so much meat on the bones. Employee mentioned there was about a pound of meat. Gravy was in the mix along with carrots and onions bell peppers.Needless to say the order was enough for 2/3 people. Then I got a side of fried okra. “I visited Houston for spring break and decided to try Lotus Seafood. We ordered barbecue and lemon pepper wings, they were 10 out 10. The shrimp fried rice was good. I give it a 8 out of 10 only because the shrimp was the size of dimes, but other than that it was very well flavored! Overall I give them a 8.5 based on the cold fries, tables not being clean and the atmosphere not being inviting.“

“This is a nice size restaurant with a New Orleans twist. I got a daquri, stuffed wings, regular wings and fries. The service is top notch and friendly. I loved the stuffed wings and the fries. The rice meat mix inside was too good. My son and I loved the fries. The only thing that could have been better was maybe less breading on the wings. I ordered more wings for my son thinking the 5 wings wouldn't be enough but they were huge so we had a lot to take home.“
