“I craved a hotdog but went here instead. Not, did I make the right decision. These corn dogs are no joke. I got the American and the Classic Korean style. Neither disappointed. I will be back to this place. The customer service was excellent and the food came out fast. Prices were very reasonable. A good stop after a long day of mountain biking.“

“The sugary scent hit me first, pulling me into SomiSomi on a sweltering Sugar Land afternoon. Inside, the cool air and vibrant menu perked me right up. I opted for the classic combo: ube soft serve, a vibrant purple with a sweet potato twist, nestled in a warm red bean taiyaki. The first bite was a textural symphony - the crispy, fish-shaped waffle yielding to the smooth, creamy ice cream. The ube flavor surprised me, nutty and earthy, perfectly complementing the sweet red bean paste. Each mouthful was a delightful contrast of warm and cold, sweet and savory. It was messy, sure, but in the best way possible. By the time I finished, the Texas heat was forgotten, replaced by a cool sweetness“

“My partner and I decided to give Two Hands Corn Dogs a try, and it was an absolute treat! The corn dogs exceeded our expectations with their delightful taste. On top of that, the staff member’s suggestion to order the ‘Kimchi Fries’ turned out to be the highlight of our meal – it was the best decision we made! The combination of friendly service and mouth-watering food makes this spot a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“It's a great place if you're craving Asian-style fried foods. The fried foods here are extra crispy and look very tempting. I was here in 2021 and did not post a review then. Therefore, I came back and ordered a Combo D from Krazy, which provides a sample of most of their fried items. It takes awhile before you receive your meal because they start frying the stuff after you place your order. Surprisingly, my favorite item was their fried fish. It is crispy on the ouside and tender on the inside. The pork katsu was okay but more toward the dry side. I would pass on the fried shrimp next time because it's just too dry. Cheese Katsu, although it looks very tempting, it is just average. I would personally recommend the king pork katsu to everyone. Due to the large portion of the pork, it is more moist after deep frying. I hope they give more rice than just a small cup. Overall, it's a good restaurant with a clean environment.“

“Very clean restaurant and tables are immaculate. I ordered a vegetarian bowl which was good and very hot. My son ordered the spicy chicken and rice and he ate it all so I guess he liked it. Lol! My husband ordered the bulgogi and he said it was the best he has ever had. The kimchi was also the best we have sampled. We will definitely be a returning guest to Tasty Ko.Vegetarian options: Various vegetables with rice.“

“Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!!I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas.Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good.In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lolSmall menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? LolP/s: don't forget to get coffee candies when they give you a check“

“One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we’ve never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream.Parking: Large lot in the shopping center. There's always enough parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids 5-10 are $17.99, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10 and eat enough.“

“The sizzle and smoke of the tabletop Korean & Caribbean barbecue is one of the definitive features of this restaurant. The flavors of the meats has a unique taste were you experience the fusion of both worlds. I just wish they will serve it with more vegetables like the lettuces to make wraps also carrots green onions cucumbers and kimchi or other Korean or Caribbean sauce for dipping. Over all it’s a great experience.“

“My friends and I stopped in for lunch one day and we all got the gamjatang. It was super filling and the bowl was overflowing. The soup comes with rice on the side and some banchan including picked onions, kimchi, and radish kimchi. The banchan paired well with the savory, meaty flavor of the meat and cut the fatty taste of the meat. My favorite part of the soup was the potato, although there was only one large chunk, I wish there was more. As for the interior it's pretty spacious and there are plenty of tables. The servers are attentive and the food comes out quickly (and HOT). I enjoyed the soup, however because it's so heavy/rich I'm not sure if I would crave this anytime soon. I do want to return to try the other menu items.“

“This place was amazing! I didn’t realize until now that any Korean place has a grill at any table. I would recommend this place to someone who loves Asian food and spicy food.Dietary restrictions: Food allergies. All the sauces have gluten in them so if you are worried about your food allergies, my recommendation is to stay at the ingredients bar.“

“Go Hyang Jib Korean restaurant is truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Chinatown. It has become my go-to spot for delicious Atka mackerel grilled fish and mouthwatering sashimi on rice dishes. One of the highlights of dining here is the variety of flavorful soups, especially the seafood soup, which never fails to impress.Having been a loyal patron for the past 15 years, I can attest to the consistent quality of their food. While there may be occasional long waits during busy periods, the enduring kindness of the lady who has been a fixture there for years makes the experience worthwhile. Her dedication to providing excellent service is truly commendable.Despite the potential for longer wait times, the wait is always worth it as every visit guarantees well-marinated and fresh seafood dishes served in generous portions. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food offered. If you're seeking an authentic Korean dining experience hidden within Chinatown, I highly recommend Go Hyang Jib Korean restaurant. Just be prepared to exercise a little patience during peak hours, and you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable culinary journey.“

“Awesome Korean ayce. Huge variety of different Korean foods such as Korean fried chicken, pancake, bulgogi pizza, japchae. There’s also a “sweet pot” or make your own hot pot that the table can share. Overall really neat place that my family, particularly my teen, really enjoyed. Will definitely be coming back.“
