“The location is nice and easy to get to. Plenty of parking, so no worries. The building and buildings around it look nice. Inside the store looked nice, clean, and organized. The food menu has plenty on it. I ordered the three meat plate, proportions were well. The food tasted great, no complaints on the chicken, brisket, and turkey. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. I would definitely recommend the place for everyone to try. Definitely would return.“

“Love the decor, warm and cozy. Seems to attract a much older crowd and mainly women. Food was amazing and good sized portions for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Drink refills were a tad confusing. There were tea dispensers on the counter but no ice. The glasses were small so I didnt drink much because I ran out of ice and didnt want to keep interrupting my conversation to get refills. Someone did visit the table once to check on us so I did get more ice then. Overall, wonderful visit, will return again and again.Parking: Plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant.“

Why the air conditioner couldn't keep everyone cool is beyond me? ?But I came for the food. I had the ox tails over with rice, with yams, green beans, corn bread, and a lemon cake. One cousin had fried chicken, yams for both sides, and a lemon cake plus red Kool aid. Other cousin had a vegetable plate and lemonade.Godmother had baked chicken with raspberry tea.My beverage of choice was 2 bottles of coke. The tea, lemonade and red Kool aid was simply sugar in a cup. They even got bottles of water for each to try to water it down without success. Stick to the can or bottles.My plates was brimming with sides. The ox tails were mostly bones but the sides tried to make the price point seem almost acceptable.My cousin stated that the vegetable plate was too salty. So keep that in mindInflation has done a whammy on the prices. Overall, a good place for an occasional soul food cuisine and a pre-diabetic drink.“

“A bit small to eat there but amazing food. The shrimp and fish were on point. Fries were well seasoned, no ketchup needed. The sauce, I think was remoulade, took the shrimp and fish beyond what they were. Great service, the young man there did great on frying such a delicious dish.
