“This place is definitely a treat for the price tag; but if you ever get the chance to try it it’s incredible. The portions are small and meant to be shared, which allows you to try a wide variety of the menu. The Ab Tuna Pizza was one of my favorite dishes we tried, along with the Yellowtail Serrano. The service was excellent, as were the sake flights.Would highly recommend for a special event or work dinner!”

“Never got around to writing a review for Thirsty Lion, but my party of 5 enjoyed it immensely! The service was fantastic; I don't recall our server's name but she did a wonderful job on a busy Saturday night. They messed up one of my friend's orders (who is a vegetarian) and the manager himself came out and apologized & offered to remake it for free. Portions are large, drinks are delicious, and a great place to hang out with friends or have date night!”

“Always attracts a crowd, especially on weekends. Not a bad thing unless they run out of chairs! Definitely a great place to grab a drink, especially with big groups. The Cactus Cafe food truck is the best by far.Wheelchair accessibility: The path into Truckyard is paved, but most of the ground past that is gravel.”

“Talk about a sexy atmosphere. Such a classy, cozy environment to enjoy with friends. We experienced amazing food, smoked old fashions and delicious cocktails. Bwalya was so friendly and helpful with drink and food suggestions and her timing was perfect for checking on us. Isaac's knowledge of the cigars in the walk in humidor was quiet impressive. Elle, the AGM made certain our evening was spectacular and treated us like royalty! We would highly recommend The Red Phone Booth and are thankful for a wonderful experience.”

“Great tap room, always have new beers in rotation. Not too many food options aside from snacks like pretzels and jerky. The staff have literally always been friendly and knowledgeable. It is also pet friendly. TVs all around if you're looking to watch some sports whilst enjoying a brew. Even the other customers I've met have been inquisitive and helpful when I was in the process of choosing a new beer to try, definitely a family vibe for sure.”

“I had been wanting to stop in this place, and I'm glad I did. It's a small but cute space. Just to pop in and pick up. Very friendly staff. “Lava has been an amazing find for our high school theatre banquet! It is budget-friendly, while still being a really great venue! On top of that, the overall experience was made so enjoyable by getting to work with their event coordinator (Jill) who was on top of everything-- including communication beforehand and the execution of all the details we discussed. She was very personable, accommodating and just a joy to work with. This is our second year holding our banquet there and I would highly recommend it.”

“My daughter & I came here for lunch on a Friday right after they opened. We were greeted fairly quickly and was allowed to sit where we wanted to, which I really appreciated, Thank you! I'm sorry I don't remember our server's name but he was really friendly and helped us decide how spicy was too spicy. We didn't get the spiciest one but we got the one just under the habanero one & it was perfect... for my daughter. It was a smidge too spicy for me. lol We shared a Bering Sack for $33 (crab legs, shrimp, corn & potatoes) & that is the perfect size for two people. Will definitely visit again soon!”

“When I first walked in tonight, I wasn’t particularly impressed by the hostess who had a less than friendly greeting. Once inside the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The music was a little too loud for a Tuesday but the seating is interesting - there are a few booth like tables that made our experience more intimate. We ordered three starters and wow, were they delicious! Hot and sweet chicken and the truffle and wild mushroom kulcha were out of this world! We wanted something small tonight but will be back for a proper dinner soon!”

“Visiting Dallas for a trade show and brought a client to this gem of a bar/grill. You can tell it's a local spot despite being in a high traffic area. Upon arriving everyone was friendly, welcoming and made us feel like locals. I wish I could remember everyone's name to give them kudos but Maddie was our server and was awesome! Great beer list and the wings are stellar. If you like an unpretentious bar that has a neighborhood vibe with killer food, visit this spot. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to Dallas!”

“It's the first time time I've been to the The Local on a weekend day in a while. The last time was like a month and 1/2 ago and there were kids running all over the place with little parental control. Honestly they were animals and I almost didn't come back as a result. I'm glad I did though. It turns out they were from the Futsal field just behind. I don't know what they did different, because Futsal was still going on, but it was great to watch the game around adults who came to watch the game and others who weren't watching the game, but paid attention to their kids. Me and my buddies got to watch the Ravens win and Alex and Mika kept our drinks full. Great staff, great atmosphere. We will be back! I can't wait to see what this is like in the summer!”

“Place was quiet as is customary for 2pm. Plenty to watch.... on TV.... ( yah right! ). Girls are great entre' was good but fries were way over done. No worries, there was plenty of food and tea was fresh. Always a great "go to" for solo lunch. Especially during the summer heat.”

“Okay I’m a bagel snob. I admit it. Having lived in the best place for bagels (NYC) you become one. They have be: crispy, tangy and chewy without being flat, oily or greasy.So when the craving hit, I looked up places and sure enough this place looked right. Walked in and ordered my standard everything with jalapeño cream cheese. One bite and I wanted to kiss the owners for the best bagels south of NYC.Consider me sold on driving here 2-3 times a a month for my fix. They sell out quickly and often! A local staple. “The customer service at this place is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The brisket is delicious. The portions for the brisket sandwich are a bit scant. It could be because I had sliced brisket instead of chopped, but there could've been at least 2 more pieces. Same goes with the "PPO", just a touch more pickles/peppers/onions to fix the sandwich ratio. The mac & cheese itself is okay, it's saving grace is the brisket mixed in which elevates the dish's overall flavor. All in all, I'd definitely come back to try a few other things on the menu.”

“So happy to have a Feng Cha! Convenient ordering via thier app or in store kiosks or from the associates but any way you choose it quick and easy. I am tried and true to a Vietnamese coffee and sometimes I'll add in coffee Boba. There are so many options on the menu there is surely something to suit your fancy, from coffee, to teas to fruit drinks, multiple Boba options and some dessert choices. The seating area is clean and a quiet area to sit and relax. A must visit if you are looking for a refreshing drink or seeking a new boba spot.”

“Stopped in for dinner after a day of running errands. The food was tasty.. roughly $6 per taco but a little larger than street tacos. The flavors all blended well. We got the grilled steak (2), chicken and waffle, and fish n’ hips taco with a side of elote and chips. The elote had a slight kick, but mostly mild and really good. Ask for extra queso fresco! The chips were a bit stale, but I love blue corn chips!”

“This morning was my first visit, Sat 10:15 am. I was worried about a long wait time, but we only waited 5 minutes, were seated, and our orders were taken very promptly, our waitress was hospitable and funny. Our food was fresh, made and delicious! I'm definitely coming back and trying the whole menu!”

“I'm a sour girl and this place hit the spot! They had plenty of options I ended up with the mango sour which came with a tajin rim and I loved that. Everyone said try the pickle michelada, but I kind of forgot, so definitely going back for that. The brewery opens up to the truck yard which has plenty of outdoor seating, live music, actual food truck options and fire pits for when it's cooler out. Definitely great place to hang out for the day/evening.”

“Stumbled across this place right here on Yelp. Been driving past it for years and never really paid attention. When I saw the quesadillas I said I have to try cause I am a quesadilla person. I also wanted to try the Birria Tacos cause I've been seeing them and wanted to try this as well. I'm happy I tried. The food was great, the customer service even though it was brief was great and the ordering process was great. I order online went to pick up my food and the guy working the register was very hospitable and nice. My only concern was that I wish the meat in the Birria tacos was seasoned better but it was still very good non the less. I will def be back to try their bowls and more items. The black pepper chicken is a must. The tri delicacies dish is amazing. The crab Rangoon, best I've had! Spring rolls are awesome. The Jasmin hot tea, a must. Litterly everything is worth a visit. “Last night was our first time trying Angelina's. We just moved to the area, and have been trying different local options the city has. Upon entering we were met by Chris at the front - if you ever go to Angelina's please ask for him. He is such a lovely person. He truly made our experience top notch! We had the taco salad, mamas tacos, and a rum punch. All of the food was hot and delicious, the drink was incredible and the head bartender brought it over personally to explain what she used and to make sure we enjoyed it. They have a lovely view of the lake, and a beautiful patio. We will absolutely be back to enjoy more specialty drinks, delicious tacos and soak up that view during the summer. I wasn’t looking for the best hotdog in the world (otherwise I’d go to Fulton st. in NYC) but just to grab a bite to hold me over.Sunday evening, no line at the drive through.Got the classic combo with 2 hotdogs and a fry. Hotdogs taste so good with all the fixins and in that signature poppyseed bun-Mmmm. They don’t put ketchup only mustard. Try their bbq sauce with fries - it’s lovely with the hint of cinnamon (that’s how they do it in the north).Next time we’ll go inside and try the Italian Beef Sandwich dipped with hot and sweet peppers. That’s the way to go! ?”

“We have been getting food from J&M BBQ since they first started business, since before they even became a food truck. We have gotten brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, pork, desserts and so much more and every time the food is spot on! During the holidays they take the time to even smoke turkeys and hams! We haven't got to try a ham yet, but we got a turkey and it was amazing! Love everything about this establishment! Great flavor, great quality, and amazing customer service. “Well this was my very first visit and couldn't wait. Saw it mentioned on a FB group I follow for all things Texas and had to make sure to visit when here in Texas with my daughter. We walked in to a huge assortment of ice cream flavors and were able to taste some samples which was very helpful. After deciding on flavors, we advanced to the menu (which is on the wall) or you can scan a code for a menu on your smartphone. Of course I like pics and the wall menu caught my eye immediately. Again so many choices and we were asked if we wanted to eat it or drink it?? In other words...a sundae or shake. lol After looking at our options and because we were sharing a sundae we opted for the biggie and one of their most popular, the Brookie Batter sundae. You get 5 scoops now not your average size scoops as my husband watched and saw that the scooper was half the size of a regular scoop. Also this sundae comes with two particular flavors, but you can choose to change which we did. We opted for marshmallow and salted caramel which after all the yummies it was really hard to taste the flavor of the ice cream. But we didn't mind, because we love ice cream not to mention the nice moist chocolate chip cookie and moist brownie that comes with this sundae. The chocolate chips and thick chocolate (to help the chips stick) fudge all around the edge make it incredibly decadent and rich but yummy!!! You also have a big scoop of cookie dough which was fun to eat with your ice cream. This is definitely a must for those of us who really enjoy chocolate!! All-in-all we (my husband and I) really enjoyed everything about our sundae and may return in the future. The sundae cost $22, but shared it was well worth the cost and we get to keep the jar. The store itself needed some cleaning as our tables were dirty and since the store was in no way busy and there were plenty of workers just standing around waiting for customers, someone should have been cleaning tables and sweeping. Isn't that what you get paid to do as well??!!”

“Enjoyed the food as always. Me and my family frequently come to this place for buffet but this time we went with entrees and appetizers. Butter chicken,Naan was really good and chicken 65 is a must try. We came close to 3:00PM yesterday but the waiter at the front was so patient he waited for us to finish I guess it’s his break but he was really patient. Thanks to him I hope he didn’t mind LOL ?”
