“I definitely recommend ñoños. Hands down, the best birria tacos in the area. Now I see why my sister and my boy are regulars here“

“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.“

“It's hard to get good ramen in the US. That being said, our previous favorite in Washington DC was Daikaya, but the last visit to that restaurant was disappointing. Finding the reviews to be good, we decided to try Jinya. Success! Portion size was good without being overwhelming. The broth was quite tasty without being a total gut bomb. The chasu was crisped on the outside and quite tasty. The noodles had a very nice texture. We also got takoyaki which were a bit light on the tako, but tasty otherwise. Love the bonito waving on top. Great experience and rather busy but definitely worth a stop if you're in the mood for ramen.“

“Love their outdoor dining experience. Broth is amazing. I had the Black Garlic among others, and was yummy! Oh, and don’t forget to check out their bathroom. It’s got thundering effect going and the kids are so mesmerized. ?Parking: They have dedicated parking spaces (5 or so cars) and have additional street parking spaces.“

“A ramen shop that serves some hearty meals in a fun-looking interior with colorful lights and designs. The staff are attentive, and the food is brought out quickly. I would recommend their Black Miso Cheese Ramen, which had a good broth, especially compared to the Tokyo Ramen. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the noodles, as they were a little on the tough side. We also tried the Tako Corn Dogs, which were on the doughier side and would not recommend.“

“One of the best values for food in the dmv right now. During lunch time they have a $10 bento box special with a choice of protein, rice, California roll, miso soup, and a drink. Sushi and ramen are very reasonably priced. Always a reliable go to.“

“The owner was really nice. The gimbap was perfectly wrapped. Rice was nice and thin with lots of filling. The pork katsu was crispy and the pork was tender. The sauce tasted really great. This is a very unassuming place with high quality food.“

“I come here quite often when I am in the area to grab take out or get a delivery. Everyone working there is very nice and helpful and the food is fantastic as well. The fatty tuna is delicious and reminded me of the ones that I got in Tokyo and at Tsukiji market. This is my go-to place for sushi ? So if you are looking for a quality meal, this is your place!“

“We visited this location for the first time today, everything was amazing!! We loved the omurice and curry ramen. Service was exquisite as well and the general manager Fon was amazing and really made our visit worth while. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone!!“
“Just had this for the first time. Got the red ramen. Easily one of my favorites in DC. Don’t let people who rate 1 star because their kitchen isn’t a “normal” restaurant deter you, people have gotten creative with their businesses to make them most sustainable since the pandemic. The food is fantastic.“

“My favorite place in the eisenhower area of Alexandria. Wonderful service and food. Great selection of asian beers and lovely cocktails. The fried tofu and kra pow bao appetizers are awesome. The thai iced tea is a great option for n/a. I have tried the red curry ramen (both non and veg and both are fantastic), the kaarage ramen, and gin ramen are wonderful too. The flavors are just right and all the dishes I have tried are not too heavy (well balanced.) The service whether its at the table or the bar is exceptional. The music (asian covers of popular songs) and ambiance are great as well. Highly recommend!“
