I recently dined at Vola's Dockside Grill and Hi-Tide Lounge, drawn in by its picturesque waterfront location in Alexandria, VA. This place was just what we were looking for. My wife and I absolutely loved being able to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful dining experience for dinner last night. While were waiting for our table we grabbed a seat at the bar. A big shout out to the bartender who had the Irish whiskey I was looking for in the back and I was able to get the first pour over a big ice cube. This was my first visit, a suggestion from my sister. I started with the crab hush puppies (delicious!). As an entree, I chose the creole shrimp fettuccini (very good). My server (Amy-excellent!) was attentive and engaging, which enhanced my overall experience. The whole atmosphere had a vibe that was very inclusive and fun. I will definitely return.
