“It was a pleasure dining at the new amazing restaurant on my recent trip to DC. The staff was very welcoming and the warm hearted owners treated us with their favorites. Guests can request the appropriate spice level to their taste and the staff is willing to accommodate the requests. I also ordered a cocktail and it was made to perfection. Must try their paneer Chilli and puri bhaji. The best part of my experience was to see the special masala fried papad on the table. Yes, they serve fried papad, not the roasted ones. I strongly recommend a visit. Give an opportunity to the Aroma chefs to satisfy your taste buds, you won't be disappointed.“

“We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!“

“First time visiting this cafe. Nice dhaba ambiance. The food quality in my opinion was good. I only deducted one star because the quantity is much less than the average South Indian veg restaurants, and I expected double the size of the price offered. The chutneys were unique and I liked all of them. Although expensive, they have imported some real high quality sweets, so if you have plenty of disposable income and want a truly authentic sweet from Bharat, then you will find it here. Everything was made fresh for us, so everything from appetizers to main dosa meal was tasty. You have to go when its not busy to get your food in a timely manner. Ours came out fairly quickly. They also make fresh lassi's. I like to support fully veg restaurants so I will most likely return.“

The service is modest, very pleasant staff are elegant demeanor it feels like part of the Indian culture, very respectful as well as a great sense of humor.
The sofisticación of food freshness and marvelous flavor combinations more than makes up for the understated atmosphere.
It reminds me a bit of the Bombay Club across from the White House except better.

“We came here for a weekend lunch, and there were plenty of seats available. The garlic naan was very crispy and also soft at the same time - highly recommend. The palak panner, chili chicken and korma chicken were also delicious. The environment and service were just okay - they served our korma dish with the sauce running out of the pot a bit.
