“My husband and I were there this past weekend for our anniversary, and I have to say WOW! Such a friendly baker he was very passionate about his sourdough bread and even allowed me to ask about his process. We talked about my bread endeavors and encourage me to keep trying and baking! He was very sweet and his wife even more so! I bought some regular sourdough and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend! Loved it here and will go back when we are in town again!“

“I was in this AM to get breakfast and a coffee. The restaurant was really busy and the staff was doing their best. Unfortunately, a lady , who didn't think she should wait, started yelling at a young gentleman working the counter. I don't think I've ever seen a more unreasonable, entitled crab in my life. Hats off to the staff who calmly handled her tantrum. If the staff reads this, remember, people like this do not matter.“

“My family thoroughly enjoyed our Friday morning breakfast here. Really interesting building, laid-back atmosphere, good food, friendly service. I *loved* their “Cape Charles Latte”.After finishing our food we went upstairs to see what that was like and my wife accidentally left her iced coffee on the table. The staff cleared the table while we were away but gave my wife a fresh iced coffee when she asked if hers was saved. We thought that was very generous of them.We will 100% be back.“
