“The food overall was very good. My friend had a beer and fish and chips. Both she enjoyed. Loved that the vegetarian burger was cooked to perfection and not burned. The sea salt fries alone are worth a visit. My son had a big daddy burger which he said was "easily the best burger" he ever had. My friend's son had a pulled pork sandwich; he ate everything. I would have loved to order an alcohol free beer which unfortunately they didn't offer. The coleslaw was fresh and made from red cabbage, however for me it was a bit on the bland side. Maybe a bit of Old Bay seasoning would have done the trick. The one thing that bothered us the most is that you had to order at the bar and then pick up your own food yet we were promoted to leave a 20% default tip when paying. Tip for what when I have to do all the work myself?Vegetarian options: Beyond or impossible burger.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor only.“

“Lovely hotel. The staff seems stressed because they have an event going on tonight. It was a bit awkward walking into the setup with them getting ready for the wedding. There is an older woman who works at the hotel who doesn't seem to like people or being in the service industry. I couldn't even 'kill her with kindness' to lighten her mood. Anyway, that didn't matter, I was on vacation. The hotel is beautifully decorated with each room having a shared balcony. I have to admit it could have been awkward but the people sharing our balcony were nice. This was a peaceful getaway after a crazy year, and I was grateful. We ate here twice and the food was good. Breakfast one morning in our room with bengiets and a smoked salmon board, and lunch one day with a Mediterranean salad and a shrimp Louie croissant. Birth were good. We also tried their bloody Mary's, which were nice The room was cozy, the bed super comfortable and we took full advantage of the lookout at the top of the hotel and the balcony attached to our room. I'll definitely be back and look forward to another visit.“

Cape Charles Distillery Distilleries •

“The best vibe on Mason Street! Such a fun place and relaxing at the same time. Delicious hand crafted cocktails served in a lovely outdoor seating area. All the drinks are the same price ($15). I had a Moscow Mule and my husband had the French 75. We loved it so much here that we came back the next afternoon. Our service was attentive and took our orders quickly. She checked back in on us as needed. Great job on a busy weekend.“
