This is an authentic diner. It is not gorumet food, it is good diner food. The decor is excentric in a good way. It looks like they always have more room for another frig. magnet if you want to leave your mark. Owner and staff were very friendly.A favorite spot of UVA alum, seems like it has been there from generation to generation. Staff is friendly & accommodating. Wished I knew about this sooner, we had a party of 8, farewell breakfast with coworkers before leaving town. Full bar & staff understands night shifters.The food tasted great & was quick. Must do next time I'm in cville....Parking: Amtrak lot you pay but early morning plenty of street parking for free.Kid-friendliness: No kids when I there but it's a homie vibe so Id bring a childWheelchair accessibility: Limited but present

Stop by for Sunday breakfast. Had a 30 minute wait so grabbed coffee at quirk on the other corner. Inside was kitschy and perfect for diner vibes. Ordering was contactless which was sort of nice bc it cut down wait times in needing staff to ring your bill. Food was great. Get the beignets (not like Nola but still yum) ours were raspberry and so good.
