Delis near Charlottesville

“Stopped by here for lunch during a recent work trip to Charlottesville and loved it so much I returned the next four days. Everything I had was delicious, but my favorites were the tomato bisque and the gobbfather sandwich. I agree with some other reviewers that there was a bit too much spicy mayo, but that's definitely not a dealbreaker. I was also very impressed with their iced coffee. Highly recommend!“

“What the hell? I just heard this place is temporarily closed. Not only do they have delicious food, the service is excellent too. I was an international student at UVA back in 2017 and due to some circumstances, I was homeless for 2 weeks. Littlejohn's that was open 24x7 at the time, allowed me to spend several hours at night during that time in there - no questions asked. I will forever be grateful for them.
