My husband and I were greeted warmly by Mary, who took care of us and guided us through our amazing experience. We’re not drinkers, so we had Elderberry Mocktails. They were REALLY good. The atmosphere was cozy but trendy. For our apps, we enjoyed the Pimento Fritters, Fried Oysters and Pork Belly. All three were fantastic. Our entrees were the NY Strip and also the ribs. The Maya is a must stop, our server Mary was engaging, downhome friendly & gave us great answers to dish & drink choices. The Baby back ribs and Rainbow trout were both great. We will be back there EVERTTIME we visit Charlotte. Our first time in Charlottesville, first to Monticello and our first to Maya, Worth the trip from Indiana. Thank You

We were seated promptly, and the server was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, fast, and warm. The food was just the right amount, and delicious. The restaurant had artwork all around, created a lovely and unique ambience.
