“As a fellow Mexican-American I think this place is better than the other places around. It had good food and good margaritas. Very authentic. Even that one crying Mexican child. Now I give it 4 stars bc I’m from texas. Now if they would add a spicier salsa that would be more authentic.“

“My husband and I enjoyed lunch here today for the first time and highly recommend this small family operated and friendly Mexican restaurant with numerous fresh and homemade options to customize and built your own plate. Access from the downtown mall or from Water Street. Good wine, beer and soft drink choices. Planning to return soon!“

“Huge fan of Fiesta Azteca! Best Mexican restaurant in Crozet. Be sure to get there early on a weekend, the parking lot can fill up quickly. I highly recommend!Parking: The parking lot can fill up and with no street parking you’re restricted to wait till someone leaves.“

“Qdoba's food is so good it makes wanna smack my momma and stab my daddy. On a serious note. The workers there were very nice and compliant and patient as well with the customers. EVERY Qdoba I go to has been nothing less than a ten out of ten experience!“

“They have the best birria tacos in town as well as the best service. But when it’s cloudy or light rain for an hour they are closed. They recently have been closed due to location switch. I can’t wait to see them open back up to give them my moneyyy…. Love their birria tacos. They are Chefs kiss ?“

“Came here with my wife for dinner. We both got margs for happy hour and they were massive, very pleased with them. The vibe was pretty typical for a Tex-mex place, but was nice. I got the special burrito with all the meats in it - the burrito mixto, but it was a little small for what most Mexican places have. The salsa was good but came out in tiny cups that we had to get refilled several times. Would come back though, one of the better Tex-mex places in town.“

“Came here for lunch with my fiancé. I got the burrito Jalisco and it is exactly what I want in a burrito - big, covered in queso, with meat, rice, and veggies inside. Plus at only around $11 it is very fairly priced. The side of queso we got with our chips is pretty standard for any texmex place, which is still delicious. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because the salsa might be the worst salsa I've ever had at a restaurant like this. It basically tasted like ketchup and we didn't even finish one small bowl of it. Don't know if it's always like that but it was god awful. Everything else was great though, fast service, standard texmex atmosphere, well-priced, but hopefully they get their salsa recipe fixed.“

“Brazos Tacos is a great taco shop with innovative tacos. I rate them 5 out of 5 on my VegScale™ (my rating scale for how vegetarian-friendly a restaurant is). They have nine vegetarian tacos, three off which are vegan. My favorite tacos are the Sir Paul and the This Is My Yam. Beautifully crafted tacos. I was intrigued by the tacos that have mashed potatoes, but found that they were texturally a little bit odd. They have a nice kiddie menu and some great sides. Wonderful and fun vibe. Service was great, too. Highly recommend.“

“Food was okay. Certainly not bad food. We got the spicy home made salsa, veggie fajitas, and a combination plate (bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and bean and cheese chili relleno). Service was really good and complimentary chips/salsa were good. They have a few vegetarian options and and willing to help you make things vegetarian. Plates were big. Service was super fast. Prices were cheap. Don’t think I would go back, but it was fun to try. I’d recommend if someone is looking for fast and affordable Mexican near the dt mall.“

“Such a great place. I love that it has found an affordable home but it is sad that the home is in the mall. It's more of an issue with our current city situation and how nothing is affordable for small local business. Support these nice people it is important.“

“Oh yes! Cool little taco joint with a nice selection of stuffs for yo shells! I consumed the goods in the vestibule just outside the side door where a couple of tables and chairs were placed. The architecture was amazing, but the tacos stole the show.“

“The quesadilla(carna asada) here is the best we have ever had. Super cheesy, not shy on meat, the tortilla has an authentic taste. We tried the pastor tacos as well very good, plenty of meat and homemade corn tortilla. Also had our first Papusa, it blew my mind on how good it was. Was not disappointed at all. Located in the back of shell station took us ten minutes for hot fresh food couldn't ask for better. We are road tripping so it was great food to take with us.“

“We sat outdoors on the patio. Tables were arranged to minimize hearing conversations at other tables. The food was extraordinary. With recommendations from our very capable server, Kahlil, we were delighted with our picks. The Chile relleno was vegetable forward in a delicious sauce. We chose the chicken in mole sauce, which was textured with many flavors and a heavier dish. We also selected the stuffed avocado, a light vegetable dish that was a perfect offset to the mole. Dessert was a mango "pudding" that was scrumptious and a perfect ending to a fabulous meal.Vegetarian options: Wide selection of vegetarian options.
