You are never rushed but also never ignored with someone always checking to see if something else is needed. The food is excellent with large portions. The atmosphere is relaxing and romantic with low lighting. I enjoyed everything about it and look forward to eating there again.“

“10.22.22 - Our bartender, Madison, was fantastic and very personable! We had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and I had the filet and crab cake with bacon mac and cheese and kung pao brussel sprouts. My husband had the cod imperial with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. I can't say enough how great all the food was as well as the sevice! Will definitely go back soon!“

“No comments about the food, but, if you reserve a table you better double check. Yesterday was the second occasion when I had reserved a table for a special event and when I showed up on time I was told they were so busy and therefore had no table available. Not good business!“

“We can’t say enough good things about our experience at Duner’s! We had mixed drinks, appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and dessert. There were 6 of us and we all agreed EVERYTHING was delicious! Usually at most restaurants there’s at least one thing that isn’t as great when that much is ordered, but that definitely wasn’t our experience! We each tried a bite (or more) of everything that was ordered and we couldn’t have been more impressed! The only downside is the noise level, which unfortunately we contributed to a good bit, but the staff handled our larger party with grace and patience! The excellent food and service more than makes up for the noise. Highly recommend!!“

“Beautiful hotel, home to The Good Sport. Very lively crowd, energized by a U of Virginia televised basketball game and Super Bowl Weekend. From the valet parking staff to the host to the waitress, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The cobb salad was beautifully presented; the smash burger, served with tasty waffle fries, was great. Highly recommended.“

“Visited charlottesville for the weekend and WOW this place is amazing! We loved the atmosphere and the food was incredible! SO much flavor. We got the pasta el barco and levanta muertos. The margaritas were also to die for. They were very smooth and the glasses were gorgeous too. Truly wish we didn’t have to return home so we could experience this food for two nights in a row. 100% recommend!“
