“This place is definitely not what it looks like from the outside. You should try it, they have amazing, authentic ramen. And guess what? They don't even give you forks! ? I had the veggie ramen and my partner had the spicy veggie ramen. Both were super flavorful but not too much.“

“I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento, which came out to a little over $27 after tax. Seemed a bit steep. The food came out beautifully presented and it was all very good, so I cannot complain too much, just a bit on the expensive side, even with inflation and being Northern Virginia. Service was friendly and the food didn't take terribly long to prepare. The California roll it came with did taste like it was high quality.“

“After living in Japan for 12 years and being accustomed to authentic ramen, this is the best ramen experience I've had so far in NOVA. They also serve sushi, which is not usual in Japan, so it was great that I was able to order both of my favorite dishes in one place.“

“Loved the food. I got the salmon Lover sushi entree. So much quality salmon and they have a pickled something on top of them that were yummy. Really good spicy salmon roll too. My boyfriend had the Tonkatsu (pork), which was yummy. Both were large portions - at least two meals. The bench in the booth needed repair and the service was occasionally slow, but still in love because of the quality of the food.“

“First off, I will say that the place is very small and fills up fast so plan accordingly:The food though is great. It's a very small cutesy ramen restaurant that also has a bar. Usually I get the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and a Chasu Pork Bun. The flavor is very nicely balanced. Not too salty, not too oil, not too spicy. I especially love their chili oil which I believe is made in house. As of right now, this is my favorite Ramen place in all of NOVA, but getting a table usually means a wait of 30 minutes.“

“Love their outdoor dining experience. Broth is amazing. I had the Black Garlic among others, and was yummy! Oh, and don’t forget to check out their bathroom. “After moving back to the states, from a 3 year trip to Japan, we were searching up and down to find the "just right" Ramen place. Santouka's noodles are made just right. They have strength in them but tender to bite through, and so many kinds of broth to try! But the absolute star of them show is their Chashu Pork, Put it in your broth for a few minutes and it becomes fall apart tender and melty. Absolute perfection. Be sure to get the Taiyaki on your way out!“

“the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, and the staff were extremely kind and polite, and they gave us spring rolls on the house! the only thing i found room for improvement for was that there was a bit too much sauce on some of the food, which overwhelmed the overall taste, but other than that small detail it was incredible! the best japanese restaurant ive ever been to!“

“The owner was really nice. The gimbap was perfectly wrapped. Rice was nice and thin with lots of filling. The pork katsu was crispy and the pork was tender. The sauce tasted really great. This is a very unassuming place with high quality food.“

“The decor is so pretty! Parking was a breeze on a Sunday afternoon. My friend and I were excited to check this place out. We ordered our drinks and I was not a fan of the Thai tea, there was no flavor. Thankfully the food made up for it. The scallion pancake and gyoza were the perfect appetizers to complement our meal. The star of the show was the tasty spicy beef noodle soup! We left with our hearts happy and our stomachs full. Service was excellent and they made sure to check on us throughout the meal.“
