“The food was amazing. The burger was really nice. I tried more than one burger and they were all delicious. However, while I was taking a picture at the brewery, I found out that the malt expired in 2023. I have attached a video, dated on 14 May 2024.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“First time dining here and loved it. Brought my wife for her birthday and they personalized the menu and brought her a decadent dessert on the house. Calamari breading is immaculate and Wagyu tartare was done very well with some micro greens. Our waiter claimed the duck was the best he’s had and truthfully it was in the highest echelon. The serving of lobster with ravilolini was generous. Such yummy dessert too (had the pineapple mojito). Was a little skeptical given it’s in Falls Church in an office building but pleasantly pleased ?“

“What can you not say about a place that has craft beer coming out the door, great food incl vegetarian options and above all, staff that care. I’m from Canada, sorry. I was lucky to come here a couple of times. The first time it was with a new staff member being trained. As I drank my delicious IPA and ate my monster pretzel I saw mentoring and tips on how this newbie could fly. On the second visit it was a “casual pint” to decompress after some challenging news. It was the same guy who was training the other day. Beers were suggested, lil tastes given and the beer selected made the conversation. Luis thank you for being a highlight of the trip. To anyone reading this review. It’s so worth the stop.Vegetarian options: Some selection incl broccoli beer. ?Wheelchair accessibility: It’s nice and open for the layout.“

“We love dining at First Watch. The food at this restaurant is always delicious, satisfying, and served in generous portions. They use only the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. We tried the seasonal "Spring" menu for drinks on our recent visit. We were delighted with the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, a perfect blend of flavors, and the Tropical Sunrise juice was a refreshing and delicious new addition to the menu. The juice was made from fresh mango, pineapple, strawberry, and lime and tasted well-balanced.We ordered the Tri-Fecta waffle for our main courses, which was light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with a sweet and salty taste from the blueberry syrup and chicken sausage patty. We also tried the Elevated Egg Sandwich on a Brioche Bun, a healthy and delicious option made with egg, bacon, Gruyere cheese, and avocado. The Works Omelet was another one of our favorites, and it was made perfectly with ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. It came with mixed greens, a healthy and tasty choice.Despite a minor mishap—our server accidentally spilled a juice cup on our table—the service at First Watch was commendable. He repeatedly returned to our table to apologize for the incident, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction. We also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the fact that the drinking water served was not from tap, a rarity in many other establishments.First Watch has undoubtedly earned a spot among our top breakfast destinations. The menu offers health-conscious and indulgent options, ensuring something for everyone. We're already looking forward to our next visit and eager to explore more of their breakfast offerings.“

“Bartenders are great and pour very good cocktails. Food is pretty good to excellent - the steak frites at the top end of the spectrum. The oft-heralded popcorn is strangely provided to some but not others. Parking lot is insufficient, so the $10 valet charge is obnoxious (certainly at 6pm) when things are full with some (poorly) signed auxiliary lots close by with more capacity.“

“I was very happy with my decision to stop by here before a performance at The State Theatre. I have a lot of food restrictions and not only did they already have options for me, but they were also able to accommodate a couple of swaps so I could stay compliant to my diet. I was with 3 others and we were all very happy with our selections which were all very different. My husband got a steak and was thrilled that they actually served it as he ordered ( rare). I had the brown rice/chick pea bowl with avocado (YUM) and my friends had pizza. Will definitely come here again!!! Sorry that I did not take photos! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the ambience which is what it is ( it's not really a sit down restaurant- more like a market) and I knew that going in. Loved the food tho.“

“The food was not good and service was subpar. Seemed like it was an okay place, but didn't have enough tables and was very small inside. Came late and on a few occasions when last call came, there were always 10 to 15 people still inside after the male bartender told everyone else to leave. He locked the door with always others left inside. I've observed this happening on a number of occasions. So last call, isn't apparently last call, and why were some staying when everyone else was told to leave?“
