“I had to pick up items for a work breakfast the following morning to accommodate some attendees gluten sensitivites. As I walked in, tge glass case proudly displayed the beautiful offerings and I only wish I could have tasted everything. While there, I purchased a savory mushroom turnover, latte, and a chocolate heart cheesecake. The turnover was delicious. The pastry was flaky, savory, and mouthwatering. I'm not the biggest coffee drinker, and the kind lady that waited on me suggested the latte. Her assistant made a beautiful heart pattern with the frothed cream and it was delicious. I had the cheesecake dessert in the afternoon. It was not overly sweet like many. It was a good balance. I highly recommend the pastries and latte and will go back to try other itens. Definitely give this bakery a try.“

“A bakery that offers a variety of vegan desserts alongside regular options. I tried its cookies, cakes, and other baked goods with coffee, and they are so good, though some of them are too sweet for my taste. Overall, it's a good bakeshop.“

“The ribeye trio sliders…omg…the bread and then the tender thick ribeye with a hint of horseradish to die for. We also ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza with peppers….the best crust I have ever had. Margaritas were so well made with the dehydrated lime….I’ll definitely be back. Have dessert in my to go bag. “Staff and management here is great, there is plenty of parking, the interior is spacious and cozy, and the food is great. Half price individual pizzas on Monday is a great deal. If you like Uno's or want to try it out I would recommend it!“

“I needed to plan an event in Alexandria VA from Raleigh NC recently. I had no experience with any caterers in that area, and had never even been to the venue at which our workshop would be taking place. Contacting Sinplicity Catering was a VERY lucky break for me.Working with Lisa Anthony made everything so easy. She was very communicative and helped me navigate through ever-changing headcounts and dietary restrictions, made suggestions based on our budget, and was an all-around superstar.When we found out at the last minute that delivery drivers needed special clearance to access the space to set up, she was able to get us all the information we needed fast enough to ensure the background checks went through seamlessly.Our delivery folks, Herberth and Andy, were prompt and set everything up quickly and quietly and never disturbed the event going on in the same room. They were really delightful guys.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, especially given the level of service we had. Everyone loved the food and were spotted taking the fun array of afternoon snacks with them to sub in for the boring airplane snacks they were sure to get on the way home.We ordered the Hearty Breakfast buffet with coffee, tea, and juices; then for lunch the Hickory House Hot Duo buffet with some vegan and vegetarian options; then for the afternoon, a selection of snacks including trail mix snack bags (with cute, custom M&Ms!), sinchex (homemade chex mix), and lots of their Taterdoodles cookies. We had tea, lemonade, cranberry lemonade, and some really delicious Arnold Palmers to accompany all of this.I seriously wish Lisa, Herberth, and Andy would move to Raleigh and set up a satellite branch of Sinplicity Catering so I could use them more!“

“I've tried this place dine-in and takeout. I was pleased in both experiences. The portions are very good and everything had flavorful. I tried their gyro platter, loaded fries, fried chicken sandwich, and chapali kabob burger. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite, or work lunch.“

“This operation has been around Falls Church forever and is a staple for a good breakfast and lunch. The reason I gave four stars is that, for some time now, they have added a nuisance fee to the check entitled "TEMP Inflation". Newsflash to the owners: we all have had to deal with inflation without being able to collect extra money for doing so. The pandemic is over, inflation is under control, and it is time to remove this junk charge.“

“The food was great and so was the service. The cashier that helped us out was very friendly, he was walking around cleaning the entire time we were there and he even checked up on the tables to make sure everything was okay. Will definitely be our go-to noodles and company!“
