“Just had an unforgettable dining experience at Padaek in Arlington Ridge, VA, and I couldn't wait to share! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, setting the perfect stage for what was to come. Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the rich flavors of Lao and Regional Thai cuisine. The Siin Savanh, Gaeng Hang Lay, and Mieng were absolute standouts, bursting with authenticity and boldness. And dessert? Oh, don't even get me started! The Mango Sticky Rice and Khao Niew Met Nga were the perfect sweet endings to an incredible meal. But what truly sets Padaek apart is the attention to detail and the stories behind the food. Chef Seng's dedication to preserving tradition and sharing her family's recipes shines through in every bite.Overall, Padaek exceeded all expectations. If you're in Arlington Ridge and craving an unforgettable dining experience, look no further. This place is a gem!“

“I always enjoy going to Elephant Jumps Thai restaurant for their food. I usto work across the street back in the days and found out about this restaurant. I have tried a different meal every time I have ordered from here and have never been disappointed. I have moved to Woodbridge and I still make the drive when I want to get some Thai food.“

“After hearing great reviews, we were eager to try out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ambiance. The Thai design elements, including large fixtures on the ceiling, added a unique touch to the décor. While the food looked and tasted good overall, it was a bit too sweet for our personal preference. Nevertheless, the service was fantastic and contributed to a great overall experience.“

“Hands down the best Thai food in the area especially for pan fried noodle dishes like Drunken Noodle and Pad See Ew! You get that nice wok fry flavor and char on the noodles that gives the dish the unique Thai street food taste. The chicken empanadas are a great appetizer! If you are a fan of pork belly, I’d totally recommend getting the pork belly w/ Chinese broccoli over rice dish and order a side of curry sauce to pour over the rice! I also highly recommend the Panang curry. The restaurant is very small and super casual but id def recommend every time!“

“Outstanding Thai, especially if you need spicy. We were celebrating multiple life events. The staff was welcoming and anticipated our needs. My only concern was the condition of the restaurant, the ceiling tiles were stained and sagging. Mom reported a sanitary & spotless ladies room.We ordered appetizers. The curry chicken appetizers were wrapped in a delightful flaky crust that melts in your mouth. My son ordered medium heat drunken noodles. The dish was hot, even for chili-phile and spice-iphile in our party! The seafood dish -found on the Pad Thai page -was loaded with shrimp, mussels, squid and scallops for $20! The courses arrived hot, together and quickly. The coconut chocolate chip ice cream was divine. Topped off the meal with Thai coffee and tea. All of this fairly price. All four of took home a doggie bag for a second meal.Parking: Free parking lot in the back of the building periodKid-friendliness: Family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: the back of the building is not wheelchair accessible. The front is accessible.“

“Been trying out all the Thai restaurants and dmv and this one certainly had one of the best drunken noodles. Mango sticky rice was solid too. Other two dishes were average, but overall 8.5/10 for food. Atmosphere was nice and decor was gorgeous. Service was excellent 10/10. Would go back.“

“Our favorite Thai restaurant for dine-in and takeout for almost a decade now. Best pad thai and duck curry in Northern Virginia. Also like the papaya salad, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and fried eggplant. Family-friendly place in the neighborhood without the hipness of a D.C. restaurant. Tables and booths under birdcage-looking light fixtures. Good prices and friendly service. Across the street from Giant. Easy parking spaces in front and on the side.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish can be made without meat.Parking: There are always parking spaces in front of along the side.“

“I have dropped in a few times now. The soups have been fantastic. Tom Yum lives up to being a classic. I also loved the main entrees Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. The environment is very friendly, clean, and relaxing. The owner, and staff, greet customers with friendly smiles. I can let go of stress with each visit. I am planning more trips to eat my way through the extensive menu and enjoy some great smiles. Great selections available to share dishes.“
