“Okay, starting at the top.The Thai chili calamari is AMAZING. I can't remember a time I had calamari that fresh. It was incredible.One dish is the seafood trifecta with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes - delicious! The scallops were nice and fat, the lump crab was fresh and complemented perfectly, and the shrimp was large and juicy. The three were sitting in a bowl of butter with some seasonings....so good.The other dish is Cajun blackened halibut with asparagus and Mexicali Street corn. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The asparagus was fresh and the street corn was tasty...but even better mixed with the mashed potatoes lol.We ordered a bottled of the Joshua Cellars Cabernet which complemented perfectly.We happened to come after work and were not dressed for outdoor dining, but that is no fault of the restaurant - they had some heaters, just be mindful before you go.Lastly, our waitress was Felicia and she was wonderful! She was on it, friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. She had a busy section and that girl did not skip a bit.We cannot wait to come back!”

“The food is the best hibachi food ever. The staff there are super friendly and talk to you. They play games with you and make sure your comfortable. The place itself is great, they even have a fish tank inside. They also have a lot to look at inside of the place.”

“The food was great and my waitress was awesome.Parking: Parking wasn't an issue. The parking is free and they have plenty of it.Kid-friendliness: I didn't have my grandkid/s I had my almost 21 year old daughter who is my kid and sometimes acts like a big kid and has a tendency to order from the kids menu a lot if the time. She had the kids chicken tenders French fries and some salad. There's no place to put and it didn't have what I actually ordered I had tge Ribeye Steak with fries and a salad, everything was cooked the way I like and tasted great, the salad needs a little help it was like it had been frozen or something and most the lettuce was going bad.”

“Definitely seeing improvement!I've been ordering here for about a year and a half and I gotta say the food has lost definitely gotten way better. The orange chicken is very flavorful compared to when I first ordered and the crab Rangoon is now actual crab meat instead of filling. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced.”

“We live in an old town and that's kind of an older Wendy's you know what you're getting when you go through a fast food line. But for two pregnancies they have gone above and beyond to deliver me so much Gosh darn cheese sauce I'll never not go to this Wendy's.”

“My wife found this place we tried it and absolutely love the service here. We go back weekly for their brown sugar fresh milk and fill it with tapioca pearls. Our kids enjoy the strawberry fresh milk with ice cream and our daughter tried the egg waffle with ice cream and it was delicious. The kids tried their macaroons for the first time and were just as good and the kids loved them.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk, almond milk”

“My first time at yama was wonderful. We had it recommended to us and my wife and i decided to try it. Our usual spot is great but is becoming more and more expensive but that's inflation i guess. Anyways the service was great. Got drinks and food very quickly. The waitress was very kind and offered a a bevy of complimentary free treats like spring rolls and desert. Although i won't expect this every time. The sushi we got was some of the best i have had. The ambiance was quiet, intimate, and although i couldn't understand the music i was vibing a little. Overall a wonderful dining experience and my wife and i will be going back.”

The atmosphere is 10/10, absolutely gorgeous. Today, we were served by Grace and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect drink for me. This is now my favorite coffee and breakfast spot in Hampton roads!”
