“This place is amazing and is a hidden gem! We went on a nice cool day and sat on the deck. The views are fantastic. However, you have to climb a large set of stairs to get to the restaurant, so you might find it difficult if you have mobility issues. They have a wide selection of food that is some of the best and fresh seafood in town! The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. You have to give them some time because all the food is cooked when ordered. They have options to sit inside, but I recommend sitting outside and enjoying the delicious food!”

The owner and her family work there daily so when I say family owned and operated I mean everyday they are there working to bring amazing desserts to their customers. “We were so impressed to find a Mexican restaurant near us that has great food at reasonable prices. We were happy to find a place that doesn’t automatically cover your food with jalapeños and cilantro! That in itself was a big win for us! We ordered a taco salad, Texas nachos and seafood burrito and have enough left for at least another meal. I would definitely recommend them. They have found 2 new, soon to be regular, customers!”

Maybe it's just a different style of cider, but their cider felt much too sugary and not nearly as boozy as I'm used to, nor as I prefer. This is consistent across all of their ciders, including the cider I was told was the "most dry." Perhaps it's intentional, perhaps it's a regional thing, I don't know, just not my cup of tea.”

“I recently discovered this place and it'll now be one of my favorite bakeries to visit. The owners are nice, there's not much space to sit around, but the desserts are delicious and so worth it. It doesn't hurt that everything is reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend. I would advice going before 3pm tho, they're sold out of most things in the evenings”

“This is a great Thai restaurant in Hampton! I have eaten here twice and not been disappointed either time. The curry is so flavorful! The first time I ordered, I didn't end up getting my food as spicy as I normally eat it, but the broth ended up being so tasty that it could just have easily been soup. The pineapple curry I had today was amazing. Fresh tasting pineapple and tomatoes in curry! Great value for amazing food!”

The takeout people often ignore me when I'm sitting inside waiting for my order even after I told staff in waiting for my order.”

We have tried other places and they just didn't live up to the flavor of this place. We have ordered from Door Dash so many times in the last 3 years. “When I lived near this establishment, I would frequently order food to take home to eat. Rarely did my orders get mixed up and the food was always great. It's only a couple minutes from Langley's west gate. The man at the counter is very helpful and patient, even with new customers. I ate here again not too long ago and found that much of the food and its service had changed. What is unfortunate though is the restaurant's decorum appears to be on a decline in quality and looks like it needs a renovation. If you're in the area and want good Asian food to go, this is a great candidate, just don't look forward to eating indoors. When we got there, it looked like our server was the only one working besides the cook. But wow, they did such a great job, even though it was obvious they were both stressed out. Now let me tell you about how great it was...At Waffle House #2370, there were about 5 tables of customers and only the two people working while others were on break. Yet the cook (Alicia?) just kept cracking eggs and getting orders taken care of. After we waited for a while (understandable), our orders were taken by the sweetest server. Not only did she get our complicated order in, she also helped us save some money by making it a combo.When the hashbrown bowl, hashbrowns, and waffles came out, they were so delicious! The hashbrowns and bacon & cheese hashbrown were cooked to perfection. Maybe we were very hungry, but those potatoes and cheese and everything else just created such a perfect breakfast melody at 2 in the afternoon that they were gone in about a minute. Now the waffles. The waffles at Waffle House #2370 were amazing. I don't know if they have superior waffle batter to other Waffle Houses or what. Maybe it is because of the cook's experience, but wow. Those waffles at Waffle House #2370 were so delicious! They captured the whipped buttery spread perfectly and held it with the syrup. They were perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time. What a great place to eat waffles!I'm proud to say that the most southern Waffle House on the Virginia Peninsula, Waffle House #2370, is a great Waffle House and worthy of such distinction. Highly recommend!”

Tried their new fish sandwich, not impressed. The onion rings always have a sweet taste to them. I think it's because they fry them in the same oil as their funnel cake fries.”

“One of the better McDonald's around. Most definitely do not go to the McDonald's on Mercury in the food Lion shopping center with 0llie's. they are terrible. I had to go back four times before my order was right and they made me wait until the line was down each time a total of an hour and 20 minutes. This McDonald's on the other hand was great”

Honestly I was worried when I walked in to see only one worker but Talisa V did an outstanding job providing customer service and cooking my meal. She’s also the only person to tell me about the IHOP rewards program, and I’ve been going to IHOP at least once a week in another location and never once heard about this program. Hats off to Talisa for being such a kind human being and hard worker!”

“This was the cleanest McDonald’s that I have been in in a long time. The ladies at the front counter were very sweet and friendly and the food was actually good and prepared as ordered. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bathroom break and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s nice to receive good service in todays world at a McDonald’s.”

I was seated quickly on a busy Wednesday during lunch and my order was taken by the only server in the place. She seeker to have a rhythm down of getting food/drinks/menus all out to everyone in a timely fashion. First time here and I guess at lunch everyone gets a salad. I thought the dressing was delicious! Not sure if you get it at dinner or what. For food I ordered the fried spring rolls and they had great flavor. Usually I don't find Thai spring rolls as yummy but these hit the spot. I also ordered a chicken stir fry dish (can't recall the name) and it was so tasty and had the best fresh grilled flavor. Also a very generous portion and heaping portion of rice. Lots of seating inside and good for groups. Decor isn't amazing but who cares when the food is this good!”

I have eaten a lot good crab cakes, but Fertitta’s has the BEST crab cakes in Hampton Roads hands down and they are well proportioned! Fertitta’s restaurant is family friendly, the wait staff was amazing, and the owner Donavon was very attentive and made sure you had the best dining experience possible! We went to four restaurants that were all closed?Our last ditch effort to not be in the car with a two-year old, and a four-year old, who were having an existential crisis owing the the certitude of starvation was this McDonald's...I can say that this location was the best McDonald's I've seen in my 38yrs..The building and property were well maintained and clean. Even the bathroom was spotless.Ste associate that helped us was a gem. She was a sweetheart to our boys. They brought our food to the table.The order was correct! No single issue. They even included sauces that we'd forgotten to ask for. The food was freshly and quickly prepared. “I came to Baked today on a friend’s recommendation and I am already hooked. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and theirs is the BEST! They chop up the bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly as well. This is not just a pizza place, they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, a big wine bottle selection, full bar, gaming play area and cozy corner. “Visited Hampton, VA on a business trip and Bar Louie was within close proximity of my hotel. The first night I ordered the New Orleans Pasta and a side of Zucchini and this meal was delicious. The second night, I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and had an Espresso Martini afterwards. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back if I return to Hampton for any reason.”

“Personally, I LOVE the Beefeater (basically a French Dip with Aujus). My hubby loves the Reuben. Both sandwiches are loaded with meat. Personally, I take about 1/2 the meat off of my Beefeater. (I don't like as much meat on my sandwiches) It is all my husband can do to eat half of his Reuben. While I find a $13 sandwiche with a small bag of chips to be a bit expensive, I justify it by remembering those sandwiches are 2 meals! My only complaint is that they don't answer the phone when they are busy.”

Our server was both attentive and amiable, ensuring a delightful experience. The wine pour was generous, and the Brussels sprout appetizer, adorned with bacon, was simply irresistible. For mains, I savored the flank steak while my wife indulged in the Pour Girls taco, both impeccably prepared. Our dessert, strawberry shortcake, was the perfect finale to a superb meal. “Went there for the first time last week and Chop is the man! The catfish with the yams and okra was hot and fresh! The guava drink was delicious and we got topped of as soon as the drinks were low. “Visited Hampton, VA on a business trip and Bar Louie was within close proximity of my hotel. The first night I ordered the New Orleans Pasta and a side of Zucchini and this meal was delicious. The second night, I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and had an Espresso Martini afterwards. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back if I return to Hampton for any reason.”

We waited about 30 min even though quite a few open tables so that prepared us for the evening. BUT he was AWESOME!! He was on TOP of keeping our drinks filled, making sure we had whatever we needed - sure it may have taken a lil longer but THAT is totally understandable - it was a Saturday night and they are under-staffed! We haven't been to Chili's in a while and having the food fresh vice via Door Dash is so much better! It was nice just going out seeing live sports on the TVs and having OUTSTANDING service. Get the 3 choice ap for a meal if you aren't very hungry and I HIGHLY recommend the potato soup!!Kid-friendliness: Well there ARE kids that go here and it seems they stick them in one area of the restaurant so that is kinda cool for everyone - parents with kids and people without - cuz I saw some kids being well...kids and that is cool we had them and understand ? I like that Chili's has a lil area just for parents with kids (at least it seems this way)”

“Freddy’s is a great restaurant that serves the best frozen custard in town. Reasonably priced and easy access. They also have a dining club that offers different levels of free food up to $10.00 off. The staff is friendly and that means the managers got it right in their hiring processes.”
