Pizza Hut Reviews
Ordered a carryout pizza, got home, took a bite and pulled a long hair out of my mouth,(almost threw up) called to complain, was offered another pizza or have the option to have a pizza credited to me, I took the credit because I had lost my appetite for pizza. Called the other day to get my credited pizza and was told the total would be $8.50, no explanation, I thought to my self why am I getting a total, it is supposed to be free. I sent my grandson to pick up the pizza and they charged him the $8.50, if the pizza was a credit there should not have been a charge. I called back when I found out what happened, I was told no online specials at this time, was charged full price. I am pissed, I don't care if you have specials or not, I was credited a pizza, not a price. If pizza hut is going to charge people for there screw ups, then I will not be going back( for more hair) besides that I thought the workers were required by health laws to wear hair nets. There new slogan should be, No one screws people out of their money better than pizza hut.

The staff at the Pizza Hut located at 2724 W Mercury Blvd Hampton, Va is slow, ineffective, and has difficulty prioritizing tasks. Occasion after occasion I have gone to this location only to receive less than subpar customer service. I’ve yet to understand how you have a tracker in the lobby stating the order is ready only to have the cashier say it’s not ready or they don’t know where the order is or it’s almost done. Also the phone always seems to be more important than the person standing at the counter. If the people calling are more important than those that are in the restaurant, then take a page from, “ Little Caesars”, place self serve warming ovens in the lobby so customers that ordered online or on the app can receive a code and have no interaction with the staff. It would also seen as though hiring more cooks to prepare orders would be needed and a redesign of your prep station allowing more room for people needed to address the larger volume of orders. Finally I have to re-state the importance of addressing the poor customer service at the 2724 W Mercury Blvd Hampton, Va store. They either don’t have the proper staff or are under trained or simply don’t care. Please look into self service warming ovens in the lobby that will be a game changer.
