This is my first time coming here and the service/food was great. Our server Ashante was amazing, she was very attentive to our table and had great recommendations. This will definitely be my new spot to come to and I love that it’s black owned.
You've Been Warned!!! There were MAGGOTS in our FOOD!!! Our women's group arrived with a party of 10. First to arrive. Customer Service which is “Bottled Service Girls” We’re naked, they all lack professionalism, and were lazy, literally sitting down, chatting with other coworkers, twerking for the bartender and DJ. These girls all complained about not wanting to serve us (customers) as we entered excitedly for the first time. The kitchen is separated from the lounge/ hookah section. So, Once orders were finally taken the food came out late by different people and at different times. I noticed under the “ Chicken & Waffles and Fresh fruit” were white bugs moving on the plate! We told by the owner and waitress. The waitress “ shouted we are not responsible for the food in the kitchen” The owner (Black Owned) offered more food and did not complement meals that were contaminated. This establishment needs to be shut down or checked for inspections! It’s known for women being TRAFFICKED during nightlife hours ⚠️ This is NOT (Comfort Zone) and the class of people and quality Food is NOT up to par! The Food IS NOT FRESH NOR HOMEMADE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The ADUCITY!!!Parking: It’s a Free lot to many businesses
This was our first time dining here,Everything was delicious. We went during happy hour. The appetizers was so so good. Very fulling. We had so much food, we had to take are entrees to go! We got crab dip, catfish bites,crab balls and wings. To be honest we didn't need and entree. They give nice size portions. Well they were a little stingy with the collards greens. I wanted a to go order but they were sold out. Our server Vaeh was AWESOME. She was very attentive and kept coming back to make sure we didn't need anything. I would definitely be back.

This place was amazing. We reserved ahead of time, and there was about a 15 min wait when we arrived. The staff were very informal about the kitchen backup. However, they served our appetizers and drinks to keep us comfortable while we waited for our meals. Food was great had good taste and cooked very well. The appetizers were the best. Our waiter was top notch, she made sure we had everything we needed and consistently checked on us. They didn't have a good selection of desserts but I would still recommend this place.

We waited for 20 minutes before own server came who said “ I didn’t know y’all were my table”. Then we waited another 1 hour and 55 minutes before we got our food . Yes it was Mother’s Day and so much was going on in this cramped space. The food was great , we took it home after waiting so long . They could’ve offer free Appetizer for our long wait. I’ll do take out but never dining in. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable of the menuKid-friendliness: We did not kids with us but other people did.

Came with my family and ordered wings with sides and Liver and onions. Wings were good but the actually chicken wasn’t seasoned. The batter was great though. Liver and onions were amazing. Catfish bites were great. Crab dip was slightly salty.
I don’t know how the food tastes I never received my food, with no explanation no apology nothing. Disappointed is an understatement. I didn’t even ask for a refund use the money to buy yourself a better experience. Trash with a little side of mediocre.

I called to reserve a table for my birthday party of 20. They had an area set up for us but we did end up moving from the higher tables. It was a little warm in there but bearable.Our Server, I think she said her name was Vaya, was so patient, as she served us alone. I didn't understand that with another server and others present but she did an outstanding job. The food came out fast, was hot and fresh, although one of my guests didn't get their food until we were about to leave. Most thought everything was good, enjoyable. Pork chops were a little a little salty and were not smothered, just gravy poured over them.Everyone loved the crab dip and thought the spinach dip was good as well. The pita chips that came out with them were hot and fresh, good portion size as well. Happy Hour prices for food and drinks are great!!! Overall, we enjoyed our experience and were pleased with Vaya who not only remembered but called us by name. Everyone said they will be back. I know we will!!!

Great Service and the food was well seasoned and fresh. We enjoyed everything from the amazing Vegetables to the meat loaf, shrimp,fried chicken and corn muffins. It was happy hour and the Tequila Sunrise was also great. What REALLY set the stage for an excellent experience was our waitress, Dominique D!! She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and made sure to check throughout the dining. But was even more refreshing was EVERYTIME someone came in the door She would say " Welcome to Southern Comfort" Her Welcome set the tone for us! Our first time (From Richmond) and we will be sure to come back!!
