“Me and my fiancé come here regularly now to the point that the staff know to get us two bowls as me and my fiancé share one bowl of hot pot! This place is a gem here in Richmond area and I’m so thankful we stopped in one day to give it a try. The food is flavorful and the selection of ingredients is unmatched! We love it here and will keep returning!”

“We came here to celebrate Mother’s Day and a graduation. The interior is neat and decorated in a modern way. There’s mirrors, lights, and balloons! We got a Poseidon boil feast—which had crab legs, shrimp head off, mussels, clams, crawfish, corn, potatoes, and sausages— with the mixed Poseidon sauce. The sauce had lots of flavor and oil, kept going back for more. My only issue with this was that it wasn’t hot, more like lukewarm. We also got a combo B and that was steaming hot, unlike the first tray of food we got. The crab legs were somewhat easy to break and eat. I wish we had a scissor for some of the knuckle meat or the smaller legs. The sausages were cut thin and well marinated. The shrimp was a decent size, same with the crawfish.Also, service was amazing. Our waitress really tried to connect with us and was attentive, especially when we needed menus and new gloves. We also took the sauce to go because it was that good and I recommend you do the same.”

“Came here for lunch and the inside looked very nice. When we were seated, our table was wobbly. After letting them know the waiters immediately fixed our table very quickly. Afterwards I ordered the lunch bento box surf and turf burger($26) with a summer salad , and 4 piece California roll. Salad was fresh and light. The California roll was great for being a basic roll. The burger was cooked to a medium, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The lobsters hollandaise and garlic aioli was the icing on top, absolutely wonderful! The wait staff here was top notch, refilling drinks and fixing our initial wobbly table. Food is always very good here, definitely on the pricier end for lunch (and even more expensive for dinner) but it was a fantastic experience here. I would come back here for any big celebration or special occasion. Food(50%): 9.0 Staff/service(25%): 9.5 Value(25%): 7.0 Overall: 8.6/10”

“Always a default. Great service, rotating menu, interesting drinks. And, their rail, or well bottles are pretty high end. When we can't figure out dinner or brunch, Tazza always comes through. And I can walk there. Had the Heuvos last weekend. Different but I ate it all. Ask for some bread. Lovely outside seating.”

“We just love Ciao Capri. It’s our special date night spot and we don’t feel overly-full after we have a 3 course meal, bread, and drinks. It feels like an Italian grandma is making you a homemade meal from her seaside Italian hometown. The service had been good every time we visit, too.”

“I wanted to write this review because this was my first visit to the Melting Pot. The atmosphere and service was great overall! I'll admit that I didn't taste a lot of the food. I can't eat a lot at one time, so, I was tasting and waiting for the next great course. So, with that being said, I only ate a few bites of my entree, knowing that I could have it later and still enjoy the experience of each course. I didn't know that when I cooked it all at the end that it wasn't going to be boxed up, like my cheese was placed in a container. I didn't realize it was gone until the leftover chocolate and little dippers were being boxed up. I don't want it to be a bad thing towards my server, because despite that mishap, she was great. I was disappointed though, considering the cost and I didn't get to taste everything. I get home to dip my cheese and didn't have dippers for that. A great tip is to let newbies know about the ability to bring home your entree and such. Overall, a wonderful experience!!”

“Came here with some of my girlfriend’s co-workers to celebrate her birthday. We did the all you can eat sushi. Sushi was about what’s to be expected at an “All you can eat”, but what really set it apart was the great service and atmosphere! For an “All You Can Eat” restaurant, I’d definitely recommend.Parking: I seriously doubt you’d ever have trouble finding parking here.”

They have pretty much all dishes you can look for in a Chinese restaurant, starting with double cooked pork, beef tripes and tendons etc to dry pot and hotpot options (including seafood options). Prices might seem a bit expensive but they serve in big quantities. So if you are spending > $25 for any dish, it's very likely that two people can share it. I visited this place several times. Very fast service. Not the run of the mill seasoning. It was just loaded with awesome flavor. Potato salad was good, nothing to compare to how amazing the flavoring on the meat was but still good. The cakes were really good. Red velvet was just what you want. It was very tasty and not sickeningly sweet. Cheese cake was really good. My father was a baker, and I'm a bit of a cheese cake snob, and this was really good (would get again and again) like the other cake, it was not overly sweet, perfect texture, which is tough to do. Let's go back to the cheese steak, get it, and go get it asap. It is just great. Overall, nothing to fault everything was really great. We will be regulars for sure”

“Probably the best brisket in the city. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Pairs up perfectly with any of the homemade BBQ sauces. Unforbidden Fruit BBQ sauce sweetened with apples is unique and is definitely a prize winning sauce.Burnt Ends were also very good. No sauce needed on those.More of a take out atmosphere, but there is some seating inside and a few tables outside. Worth staying on site to eat your food fresh and hot off the chopping block. Highly recommended when you need to get your BBQ fix.”

“The Korean wings were good but lacked any strong flavor.The ramen was also good but both the Tonkotsu and Miso broths lacked something contrasted with other ramen we have had. Both served with only half an egg and a small plastic spoon for the broth - even when dining in vs takeout. The pork was tasty and the spicy addition to the Miso provided some nice heat.”

“We finally made it to this Richmond staple. Everyone working was extremely friendly and let us try several samples.I appreciated the variety of flavors. Here’s my take on what my family sampled:Cookie dough - large chunks of cookie dough, loved it. Birthday Cake- really tastes like cake batter. Loved it. Rainbow Cookie - if you like the Ukrops rainbow cookie, you have to try this ice cream. Cinnamon snack - I like cinnamon, but I found the cinnamon overpowering. My little one enjoyed it though. Peppermint bark- if you love peppermint, get this, but I found the flavor to be a bit too strong as well (and this is made with vanilla, not peppermint, ice cream)! There’s another peppermint option that’s made with peppermint ice cream, and apparently it has an even stronger peppermint flavor. Just Ask - apparently this is their most popular flavor. Can’t go wrong with Oreo and peanut butter, but I didn’t think it was a standout. Blanchard’s Dark as Dark - not too sweet, rich coffee flavor.Another plus: They use metal spoons they wash instead of plastic spoons for samples.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options available.Kid-friendliness: They have a toddler size cup”

“When a menu has both Thai and British fare, try both! Second time in with my wife and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. We had the pad Thai and fish and chips with the haddock. Best F&C I've had. The fish was cooked perfectly, the batter was light and crisp. The pad Thai was top notch as well. My wife likes it so much we are taking my mother-in-law back when she visits from Michigan.”

The K-Town Rolex (Korean BBQ) boneless chicken was saucy, crunchy and full of flavor. I'm talking "what else can I dip in this stuff?" The Lemon Pep Talk (Lemon Pepper Dry Rub) bone-in was also exceptional. Somehow you could taste each spice individually without losing the lemon zest. It was a journey of flavor. I loved the murals and the hip hop theme throughout the building but one of the best things about this spot is the people. I was welcomed, the workers were cooking, happy, had good music playing and were interacting with everyone that came in. That is an anomaly these days. This Rooster deserved 5 gold chains . Overall: 10/10 Location: 8/10 Short Pump. Parking wasn't too hard to find but it's on the smaller side and it's busy. Prices: 8/10 You won't get a bargain, but it's worth the price. “Finally got to try Afghan food closer home with the family on a weekday evening. Ordered way more than what we could eat. Both veggie and chicken bolanees, a pair of samosas and the namesake Mantu too. The kind young man even let our kids eat their school lunch boxes here. Bolanee a big hit with all of us. Perfect samosas. Same potato stuffing on the samosa and the bolanee. I ended up finishing the Mantu after the others just tried a couple.Tempted by the ethnic groceries. Got the bitter carrot juice and the ayran. Cool table design cloth for sale. Will come back for the biryani, wrap and the kebabs. Definitely more budget friendly unlike the full service restaurant next to Ellwood Thompson's. This strip mall is getting more exciting now!”

“This has to be the most stellar Olive garden that I have ever eaten at. The service was great. Order the soup and salad and the salad was made to perfection. For once there wasn't any brown in it and it had an appropriate amount of dressing on it. Also, they filled up my soup bowl with actual soup for once. Usually, at most Olive Gardens, I seem to get a half a bowl of just broth with none of the goodies in it. Had those delicious donuts for dessert. Even the manager came around and checked on us. What a wonderful experience.”

“Overall Taste I absolutely love Nothing Bundt Cake! We have tried pretty much every flavor, however our favorite is the Limited Edition Cookies and Cream Oreo! There are several different size options to choose from. This go around we ordered the 10" Bundt Cake in Oreo for my daughter's birthday celebration. My favorite part is the combination of texture and flavor in each bite of moist cake. Each cake is crowned with their signature cream cheese frosting, which is some of the best frosting for sure! (The crown went down because it was in the heat for several hours, however the rest of the frosting held up very well.) Overall Thoughts While there are several locations near us, we love going to the Short Pump location. When ordering over the phone and in person, each associate is nice and helpful. Flavor availability is never an issue, the store is always clean, and we are always in and out in a short amount of time. With the quality of product I would expect it to be pricey, however it is very affordable. For your next celebration or even just a little treat, Nothing Bundt Cake is the place to be!”

Their choice of sauce on most items was not good. So go for the least sauced version.A very large selection of good food to choose from. From crab legs, oysters, mussels, variety of shrimp, salads, chicken, pizza, desserts. A good selection to please all taste buds. The $Rangoon. full menu price is justified. The place is huge. Reminds me of ski cabin restaurants. Able to seat large families in quantity. Pleasant staff, mostly minorities. But they work efficiently, cleaning tables as soon as you leave, Soda refills were quick.So eat here. A great way to spend $20. No fancy restaurant is needed. Casual attire.Also you get fortune cookie with your bill. An unexpected bonus!”

We've been eating at Nick's for many years, mostly take out. Staff are friendly. When my parents were with us and came to visit from Atlanta, they always wanted to dine at Nick's and was my dad's favorite place for Greek and Italian. Love the seasonal decorations!”

“Best dumplings I’ve ever had in my life. Like I’m not even joking, I’ve never had dumplings that come close to these ones, and I order dumplings almost everywhere. The beef buns are also extremely yummy and good. Staff are kind and atmosphere is fine. It is quite expensive if ordering more than one item, but it’s so worth it for how good the food is. The boba is also yummy although not my favorite of the boba I’ve had, still very yummy!!”

Sweet, savory, creamy but texture was different because it was not on the cob. The quesabirria taco were pretty good. Good meat and consomé. The only critique was the crispiness of the tacos, they were a little soft. Given it was a stand and not a real kitchen it was still excellent. “I'm always looking for old school ny style pizza. Cheese oozing, grease dripping and sauce. Pizza should have sauce. I was doing good for about 6 years at another pizza place then apparently they change people or the recipe. Every establishment have a bad day but 2 bad days, you lose me as a customer. That being said, I saw this place and took a chance. NY style is a yes. They're sauce is flavored the right way , gooey cheese have a stretch to it and a nice thin crust. Very yummy in my tummy. Can't wait to go back there.”

We hadn’t been by Whisk French Bakery in a while, so we decided to head on over before they closed for the day at 4 p.m. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by such a helpful and friendly employee named Jae. Her enthusiasm for and knowledge of French baked goods was unparalleled. We took quite some time to look over and discuss all the options, and Jae was very patient and accommodating.It was truly difficult to choose a baked good at this point, because we were so wowed by everything Jae had shown and described for us. Ultimately, I was craving chocolate, so I gleefully ordered the brownie. My husband, a Snickerdooodle aficionado, opted for the tempting Snickerdoodle sandwich cookie.This was no ordinary brownie, and I could tell by just looking at it. The brownie was topped with a generous helping of luxurious chocolate ganache, and there were milk chocolate shavings decorating the top of it. My first bite was bliss!
