“Yu Noodles in Herndon is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the dishes. The steamed shrimp dumplings were a standout for me, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They were an absolute delight to eat the freshness of the shrimp combined with the delegate dumpling wrapper made for a truly memorable appetizer.Don't even get me started on the seafood noodle soup. It was out of this world. The broth was flavorful with hints of seafood essence that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the generous portion of seafood made each bite a heavenly experience.Overall, Yu Noodles is a must visit for anyone in the Herndon area. Whether you're craving dumplings or noodle soup, this is the real deal. You won't be disappointed by the delicious offerings at this fantastic restaurant. I will definitely be back!“

“The food was amazing. But I loved the service. I unfortunately don't remember the name of our server. She was asian. She was so nice. She even brought my son crayons and paper. Also had water for my toddler. She kept asking if our tea needed hot water. The food was hot and tasted fresh and amazing. The time between the appetizer and the entree was perfect. We didn't have to wait too long. I loved the Tom Yum soup. I would recommend this restaurant for the food and to top it of the service and atmosphere as well. Definitely would go back.“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the Joelle Metallic custom raspberry cocktail at this fantastic restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment the drink arrived at my table, I was captivated by its exquisite presentation, adorned with a shimmering raspberry garnish that added a touch of elegance. The first sip transported my taste buds to a world of pure bliss. The balance of flavors was impeccable - the sweetness of the raspberries perfectly complemented by a subtle hint of tanginess, and the mixologist's expertise shone through in every drop. It was evident that only the freshest and highest quality ingredients were used to craft this extraordinary cocktail. The Joelle Metallic was not only a feast for the senses but also a work of art. The attention to detail in its creation showcased the passion and creativity of the restaurant's team. The glassware itself was a thing of beauty, enhancing the overall experience. The service at the restaurant was outstanding as well. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you find yourself at this restaurant, do not miss the opportunity to try the Joelle Metallic. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and refreshing drink, this custom raspberry concoction will leave a lasting impression. My visit was truly unforgettable, and I can't wait to return for another round of this splendid cocktail!“

“Oh my gosh where do I start? The food is amazing as usual and the mini pork belly bao buns were so tasty and the loaded tots paired with the Yuzu Palmer drink is a match made in heaven. I loved the dessert here too especially the birthday cake loaf and this is gonna be my go to place every week and the owner is super kind and exerts positive energy and amazing customer service to make everyone feel welcome! That beef krapow empanada with that sauce was right on the money!!“

“If you haven't had their soy garlic chicken, you're not living. Easily some of the best fried chicken you can get at a chain. Furthermore, their other menu items like their pork buns and japchae are delicious. Definitely a favorite of mine, but only reserved for pay days, since their menu is quite steep. If you can split a check with some friends, it makes for a great time though“

“Donkatu is good. My picky eater daughter finished the whole plate. If you miss old Korean style don kka ss sauce, they have it. I also had Jjambbong kalkooksoo. It was ok to good. I wish more seafood or bigger seafood pieces in there. Price is ok. Before I eat here, I went to the thrift store in the same plaza. Walk all the way straight from the restaurant. They have great selection of home decorations and set of plates.“

“Their mango pomelo smoothie is bussin!! Next time I'll try the nommies :3Edit: tried their chicken Chinese burger, and it's so good! I don't know why they have a sauce on side though but it's good by itself really. Also tried the Sakura biscoff smoothie. The name sounded interesting and it's actual biscoff cookies in the smoothie ? it's very interesting also good! Mango pomelo still my favorite.“

“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“
“Wow, this place is a gem! How did we not discover this place earlier??!! We ordered 1 appetizer (potato shrimp...yum, the sauce!!) and 5 dishes (4 different katsus and ddukbokee) and every one of them was a winner! I loved the little nuisance of the chef's touches to the food...you can tell there was thought and care that went inti each sauce, food, entree, etc. Snow Katsu is a must! So refreshing! The sweet onion sauce was a perfect accompaniment to the tender crispy katsu! We will def be back in no time, for sure!!“

“David is the reason I had a great meal and experience. When I saw that the menu had changed and asked about vegan options, I was disappointed. David went way out of his way to make sure I didn’t have a boring, steamed veggie meal. He double checked all ingredients with the chef and I had the stir fried Buddha’s Feast with tofu. Sooo good. The ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious but the most impressive part if this visit was David.Dietary restrictions: Ask for a vegan menu“

“We don't get out to Ashburn much but happen to be in the area and drive by Passion Fin for an early Friday dinner. The place is pretty crowded a bit after 5pm and they must have approximately 10 to-go orders packed in front...great sign. We get a table for 2 and take a look at the menu. Standard Japanese fare/choices but they do have hibachi if you aren't into sushi so good to have options. The wife orders 2 rolls and I go with my standby - the chirashi. You get soup or salad (not both) and I go with the salad. I like the ginger dressing and they are not chintzy with the dressing which is a good thing. Our dinner comes out and the rolls are good. Nothing to jump up & down about but solid. The Chirashi is a bit disappointing- they give you a good amount of sashimi on top of rice but the rice isn't seasoned. Tastes like plain white rice. Also, there are no pickled veggies which is typically provided with Chirashi. Definitely had better, more authentic versions of Chirashi. I suppose Passion Fin is pretty good considering you are in the middle of the 'burbs in Virginia. Comparing it to other Japanese sushi joints it comes up a bit short. 3.5 stars is where I land.“

“High Side is not only an amazing craft beer pub, but it has delicious food and a strong sense of community. I like that it's located in a small space that isn't loud like so many larger pubs, and is much more conducive to talking with friends and meeting new people. The staff is so attentive and knows their customers by name. It's always a fun experience and I highly recommend High Side even to people who don't drink beer. The food alone is worth it!“

“I recently had a meal at a restaurant with a friend and noticed some changes since our last visit. The interior decor had become more straightforward, with dark green walls replacing the previously abundant dark wooden furniture. It also appeared that the restaurant was undergoing some renovation. We also noticed that the back wall of the sushi bar counter was now adorned with white tiles. Furthermore, the restaurant has more Japanese dishes than Korean cuisine. The food we had was decent, but it had the potential to be better. The house salad was passable, although it had a slightly sweet taste. While the sashimi was not the freshest, it still had a good overall flavor. We enjoyed the Korean Rib Hot Stone Rice, as it was warm and savory. The pickled radish and kimchi on the side were perfectly fermented and had a nice crunchy texture.Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the building.“

“4/5/24Our 1st day in VA for our vacation. After checking into the hotel, we needed to eat early dinner. We were actually on our way to get gas after a 4-hour drive. I noticed the name noodle house. I'm always on the lookout for noodles ? We turned around after gassing the car.We were told to sit anywhere. Then Amy came over and asked if we'd been there before. After we said no, she proceeded to explain the menu. The base Luosifen and the extras you can add. Their famous Burrito... I want noodles! LOLI got the Signature Luosifen. Love it!Hubby doesn't like noodles, so he opted to get Pig Feet and Stinky Tofu... Pig feet were good, but the Stinky Tofu... there is a reason it was his 1st time having Stinky Tofu LOL. He doesn't have a great sense of smell, so he enjoyed the Stinky Tofu. After we finished, we actually told Amy to open a restaurant up here in NJ LOL“

“I love the single family sized burner tables to keep small children away from hot surfaces. I also like being able to sample two broths (spicy, mild). Our server was very family friendly and that is why I recommend bringing your family to this restaurant. This restaurant fills up fast so I recommend arriving early or late to beat the crowd. I think we got the last parking spot in Stryker mall. There were three guys blocking my car upon departure but they moved upon request. We came hungry and left very full.“

“Really adorable and fun decor! I can only speak for the bubble tea which is great- not the food which I've yet to try. It's a little expensive but the drinks are worth it. My only complaint is that one cashier in this location was rude to me once, made a strange comment, although I think he left. Watch the customer service. Otherwise I'd totally recommend it and go back.“

“I love the ambience and the different options for meals. We were a party of 8, that each ordered something but shared it family style, and it's definitely the way to go! Everything was SO delicious!!! Shoyu Ramen- good but the broth was salty, 7/10 Spicy seafood ramen- not very spicy, but generous amount of seafood: shrimp, clam, mussels, squid! 10/10 (we ordered two portions!!!) Pork Katsu- the pork was perfectly crispy paired with the curry, so yummy! 10/10 Bulgogi combo//Bulgogi bowl- honestly it was so mid I wouldn't order it again 5/10 Galbi combo- this was probably the best thing we ordered! It was seasoned so well and SO SO TASTY 11/10 Calamari- perfect crisp, the red sauce was spicy and delicious, perfectly prepared! 10/10 Potstickers- very crispy and the inside was yummy also 10/10 Miso soup- very salty 7/10 The service was great. Our cashier had to deal with our typical Asian fighting over who pays, as well as take orders of 8 people who honestly just chose orders based on what other people ordered! Haha! She was so patient and kind, and also gave us 8 small bowls so we could eat family style. Another worker noticed that the sun was glaring inside at our table so she opened the umbrellas outside and purposely shielded the sun away! Thank you! I'm always impressed at spots who care about big parties as well and treats us well so thank you for yet another wonderful experience!!“

“High quality ingredients, personable staff, a Buffalo Bills flag, and a heavy metal night. What's there not to love about this place? The seafood selection is astounding, with no shortage of Omega 3's after a meal here. Ample use of rice flour instead of wheat for those avoiding gluten. We had several shrimp dishes and the lamb as well, all punched some serious flavor.Dietary restrictions: The staff was happy to report back on ingredients for dietary restrictions. We had many dairy-free and gluten-free dishes.“

“Pho has rich broth with good flavor. The host/waitress is excellent at her job, friendly, and has suggestions ready. Not pictured is the tendon (if you’re into that sort of thing) which was great - not overcooked but also not too chewy.Interior atmosphere is very calming. Also highly recommend the pho for comforting takeout (great for when you’re sick or you had one too many at the brewery the night before!)“

“It's good in an Asian sort of way.No music, Chinese families sitting around speaking Chinese, self service sauce bar. This isn't the greatest food, but it's like comforting. Can get a large hot pot or individual hot pots. Flavor is fairly light, I would recommend using the sauce bar or the salt shakerI don't think this place is for everyone, but I like it a lot.“

“The sauce is good, usually the sauce is supposed to be extremely sweet. The only thing i like about this dish is that the sauce coats the fried pork and the fried pork is extremely crunchy. Noodles were 10/10, made me cold at the end. But the whole point of these noodles are supposed to be cold and filled with ice cubes. The noodle texture wasn't so chewy, but the noodles itself made me extremely full. The broth was cold and savory, which I enjoyed. The toppings are standard but the plating is very nice I would say. The service is very speedy and polite. Only a couple people working but the staff managed to serve everyone as fast as they can. Depending on the certain food you order, the preparation can take a while. Other tables ordered different dishes than us but that's because all dishes have different preparations and ingredients. I don't blame that. The ambiance of this restaurant wasn't so noisy, but since there are a lot of kids in the restaurant, it can get pretty loud. But that's because they're kids. I can say that it is a peaceful atmosphere and I can perfectly hear myself talking to my parents which is a good thing. Overall this restaurant was impressive. I have to say, if I don't clean my bowl after eating my dish, then that's how you know the food was mediocre. But today, I devoured my dishes to THE CORE. It was so delicious, I would definitely come back here next time with my parents.“

“Ordered online for pickup. Food was not ready as stated. Had to wait 15 additional minutes before food was ready. Staff member was nice but a young guy. Staff member checked the bag before giving me my food to go. Took the food to the office and realized that Bonchon forgot to include my kimchi that I ordered. I called back up to the restaurant to make it known and the young staff member answered. He didn't seem to care too much about forgetting to put my kimchi in the bag and he gave a half hearted "I'm sorry".“
