“I don't usually write restaurant reviews. But Bandoola deserves the praise. My favorite is the Spicy Pork Noodle Bowl. It is a handsome amount of perfectly seasoned pork. The sauces, spices and herbs are a harmonious blend of southeast flavors. The food is reason alone to return to this little stall, but the customer service is amazing! The man who greets you is always happy and eager to make suggestions based on your preferences. He has also helped our fundraising efforts at the law school.Whether you are just stopping by or looking for a regular spot, come by this little stall that packs a big punch!“

I o wish they had more veggie options.However, everything I tried from this place has been really good. I was surprised at how good their Kimchi Pancakes (KP) are - usually, KP at restaurants are forgettable, and these were anything but.The Tofu Bao Buns are great. The shrimp burger is REALLY good. The fish tacos were ok, I wish there was more kimchi on them. They also make their own kimchi!It's a really nice and quaint spot that I'm going to make sure I tell other about.Vegetarian options: I wish they had more vegetarian options. I believe there are probably 3-5 vegetarian dishes. However, they may accommodate removing meat & eggs from their Bi Bim Bap.“

“Donkatu is good. My picky eater daughter finished the whole plate. If you miss old Korean style don kka ss sauce, they have it. I also had Jjambbong kalkooksoo. It was ok to good. I wish more seafood or bigger seafood pieces in there. Price is ok. Before I eat here, I went to the thrift store in the same plaza. Walk all the way straight from the restaurant. They have great selection of home decorations and set of plates.“

“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“

“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“

“Love the Asian Fusion Bowls with the tasty big flavors Salads with Asia flavor, they have kimchi, purple rice, Asian spiced meats and dressings. It's one of my favorite places in the Rockville/Bethesda Area. When I'm in the mood for a salad with pizazz, this is the place I go. I get the child-size for lunch and the full size salad for dinner. The service is good, the last time I stopped by, I received a free miso soup. Thank you, for the generosity.I love their variety of teas and juices. They have table downstairs, tables upstairs and some outside. One of my favorite dessert that they offer, is the coconut milk pudding, it's so creamy and delicious. I hope they bring this back soon. Located on the outer edge of the Pike and Rose neighborhood, and close by to the garage this is a lunch favorite pick up spot for me. The interior decor had become more straightforward, with dark green walls replacing the previously abundant dark wooden furniture. It also appeared that the restaurant was undergoing some renovation. We also noticed that the back wall of the sushi bar counter was now adorned with white tiles. Furthermore, the restaurant has more Japanese dishes than Korean cuisine.The food we had was decent, but it had the potential to be better. The house salad was passable, although it had a slightly sweet taste. While the sashimi was not the freshest, it still had a good overall flavor. We enjoyed the Korean Rib Hot Stone Rice, as it was warm and savory. The pickled radish and kimchi on the side were perfectly fermented and had a nice crunchy texture.Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the building.“

Place has a real mom and pop feel and is located in Vienna. It's located in its own building on near the intersection of Nutley and Chain Bridge Road (Maple Ave). The folks there were really nice and helped me understand the items on the menu, I had no idea was burdock but the owner was really helpful in explaining what it was. The food came out great, I actually would go here again even though I am more of a omnivore.“

“High Side is not only an amazing craft beer pub, but it has delicious food and a strong sense of community. I like that it's located in a small space that isn't loud like so many larger pubs, and is much more conducive to talking with friends and meeting new people. The staff is so attentive and knows their customers by name. It's always a fun experience and I highly recommend High Side even to people who don't drink beer. The food alone is worth it!“

“I found this place just walking around DC near my job and it has really good food for decent prices and reasonable portions. The first time I went I got the chicken tenders and fries and there were like 6-7 big tenders and the tray it was in was covered in fries. “I have a love/hate relationship with this place. When it comes to events, everything is at the lobby once you walk in and it's filled with neon lights, a dimly lit bar full of many offerings of alcohol you can get, a few small sections for VIP for your friends, and usually a DJ playing their music. There's open karaoke as well but I don't know if people sing often in the lobby. So I have been here many times for my friends and even booked a room as well. Rooms are spacious and they do have pretty nice audio. But there is one thing that truly irks me every time I come here. So they have a touch screen where you can add your karaoke songs through YouTube or through their system but getting the videos to load is a pain. It's annoying to deal with because it skips to the next song in queue so if you are with a group of 5+ more people, it can be very stressful. The worst part is we asked the staff about it and they aren't really sure what to do about the connection. I mean they should really fix that because I'm sure it gets people upset. No one wants their song to be skipped. Aside from that, you can also hear the loudness from other rooms, I don't expect that to be an issue but it's noticeable on busy nights. If you do plan to go here, there's one thing I highly advise before going. Check their socials if they are hosting any event and call ahead to know about the room rates. The website shows their original flat rates for the room but in events, they raise the prices up. If you go in person, check the menu before deciding to put your money down. This place also adds gratuity to the bill so be prepared to drop down a lot. While I frequently come back here just to hang out with friends, karaoke is one of my favorite hobbies. Its never a good time when your song doesn't get played or you get charged way more than you should.“

Our server was very family friendly and that is why I recommend bringing your family to this restaurant. This restaurant fills up fast so I recommend arriving early or late to beat the crowd. I think we got the last parking spot in Stryker mall. There were three guys blocking my car upon departure but they moved upon request. We came hungry and left very full.“
