“I always come here for the bao bei buns which are Taiwanese gua bao. It has a nice pork belly filling with pickled vegetables and sweet peanuts. It’s perfect when eaten warm and fresh and would highly recommend you to get it! There is no seating though and they work out of a warehouse by the way.“

Awa was very helpful with suggestions and thorough explanations about the different services and dishes. I didn't catch the names of the gentlemen that delivered, but they were wonderful with helping to set up and so friendly; they really helped to make every easy and perfectly set up. Our team was really happy with the quality, amount, and set up of the buffet. It really helped us to make our team feel appreciated simply because the food was so enjoyable. “Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

Emelie Corcoran is absolutely the best coordinator for food, decor and service in the DC area. She and her team worked with us from crystalizing our vision for the event to the final clean up. “I have been using them for years so apologies for gatekeeping.... they are WONDERFUL! I love being able to order online and making edits to an order is easily done with a quick call. All of the staff are professional, helpful, and prompt. The Mediterranean bar is hands down my favorite to order for lunch but I have never had a bad meal from them. They have catered a variety of group sizes for me from 10 people to 25 people and the quality is always top notch.“

“For flavor, friendly staff, and down to earth settings, El Fuego is worth a visit. I’ve been going there for about 4 years now and always have a great experience. It’s a small place with limited seating but if you’re with family or friends you’ll enjoy. The setting is very laid back so go for the food. You’ll be glad you did. This time I tried the pollo tallarin saltado while my wife had the arroz con pollo. All very good.“

They were beyond incredible throughout each step of the planning process and especially on our big day in November. We had the honor and privilege of working with Phoebe. She took so much time to listen to our interests and needs to curate the most spectacular food and drink menu for cocktail hour, reception, desserts, and late night snacks. They also made sure to provide appropriate signage for each hors d'oeuvre and that all tablescapes looked perfect. Our guests RAVED about the drinks, food, and desserts so much throughout the night and months following. They shared how impressed they were with the incredible service of the staff as well. “How I wish I could give Saint Germain Catering 10 Stars! We had a catered lunch reception at our home following the burial of my brother at Arlington National Cemetery. I had no idea what I wanted but Carrie Westbrook and Mina Ebrahimi were extremely helpful developing a wonderful menu including beef tenderloin, crab cakes, sides, passed hot appetizers, desserts, and drinks. Guests came from all over the country to honor my brother and everyone commented on how delicious everything was, what beautiful buffets they created and especially how seamless the service was, led by Hugo. They set everything up while we were at the cemetery. When we entered our home, we were amazed at the complete transformation in our home. They created several serving areas, complete with flowers, which allowed guests to easily circulate. They quietly picked up used items. They were so pleasant, courteous, and extremely efficient. The bartender was wonderful. After the event wound down, they quietly packed everything up, asking how to wrap up leftovers. I showed them where I had dishes and without a word they took over. It was hard to know they had even been there. So many guests commented on what a beautiful event this was honoring my brother and how much he would have loved it. Thank you, Saint Germain Catering. This review is probably getting too long..... but I also want to mention we also ordered our entire 2023 Thanksgiving meal from Saint Germain's. They set everything up for our buffet the day before including chafing dishes for hot items, all laid out on white tablecloths. It was wonderful. We simply heated up the meal and enjoyed the best Thanksgiving dinner we ever had, including over 45 I made myself! Everyone raved about the turkey, the ham, all the side dishes. And we then had delicious leftovers for days to come. We plan on always ordering Thanksgiving from Saint Germain Catering. Our guests were from Florida and California, and all agreed - The Very Best Ever Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you to Carrie Westbrook for all her patient planning help, and to Edwin and Nelson who set everything up, so we were ready to go on Thanksgiving with little effort.“

“It was my first time ordering and I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for 8. The food was delicious! Everything came packaged extremely well, there was no leakage. The containers for the soup and gravy were amazing. The challah stuffing was flavorful and even though it was vegetarian, it tasted like it could have been cooked inside the turkey (it wasn't, it was just very tasty and not dried out.) The green beans were perfect and not over cooked- everything was just wonderful and it was SO EASY! From ordering to pick up, it could not have been easier! My only recommendations would be not to cut up the turkey legs for the cut up turkey option, and to include reheating instructions for each item inside the box or attached to each item. Some reheating instructions were online but they were not easy to find and were seen after I had heated everything up. Even without the instructions it turned out great and everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you for providing Thanksgiving dinner!“

From the start, something I noted when reaching out to them was how responsive they were, and that really was not the case with certain other caterers. Emilie and Kristen are lovely to work with and offered reassurance that made us feel confident they wanted to bring our vision for our wedding to life (and succeeded in doing so!) The food was excellent, the service so friendly and the set up seamless. I cannot recommend them highly enough and we are so happy they were a part of our wedding!“

“I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. We went in on a Saturday evening looking for something to eat late. While it was crowded and we didn't have a reservation, we were still accommodated and the food was excellent. We had the crab Fried Rice, Oysters and some other appetizers and cocktails and it was all excellent including the service. The atmosphere is a total Vibe. The music was great. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for brunch. The brunch menu was a tad bit different but great options. I had the crab cake Benedict and we had a peach cobbler bread pudding it was SO Good. The chef is superb?? his name was Sam I believe, he even came out and greeted us the night before. It was Sunday, Mimosas, a live DJ the music was my kind of flow, good food and again good vibes. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you are in DC, this is definitely a spot to check out. It is black owned, and I know it will be my spot every time I visit.Vegetarian options: The vegan egg rolls were delicious they had several other options as well I didn't feel left out.Dietary restrictions: My friend has a cheese allergy is sprinkled on the Oysters but it wasn't indicated on the menu. Things like fish, dairy etc common food allergies should be listed on menu items. But the menu is great I must addParking: We walked from our hotel. There is an Omni Hotel right across the street. All I saw was street parking which was full not sure if it offers any other parking accommodations“

“I had Bittersweet catering at a recent event. We had breakfast and lunch catered by Bittersweet. The food was delicious! My only critique would be for the cheeseburger sliders. There were lots of options. I especially enjoyed their desserts. I would love to check them out to see what other options they have available.“

“I've been coming here for 20 years now. I've always loved the food but this past time I tried the Parma for the first time ever and oh my god, AMAZING. I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner. It's my new favorite. Everything is great here though. The sandwiches are perfect and always have the best quality toppings (i.e. the finely shredded lettuce is exquisite and quintessential for a true Italian sub). I love their sides too, the antipasto salad and macaroni salads are outstanding. I also really enjoy their premade meals.
