Celebrated my daughter's birthday at this restaurant on April 22. Out 3rd time here but the service was only polite. The meat dishes we ordered were cooked to the same medium rare doneness despite our request for variation Disappointing.

The steaks and sides (Fleming potatoes, broccolini, mushrooms) were very good; the Fleming salad was bland. Hair, however, was in the mushrooms. Service was outstanding and friendly. There is a good wine list, and the waiter does decant the reds - but check the bottle's year as it did not match the wine list. The ambiance is quiet and understated, if in an odd location inside a dated Courtyard hotel.

Wife's fillet, medium rare, was closer to rare. My ribeye was closer to medium well than medium rare. The onion rings were very unimpressive, no different than the onion rings at the university dinning hall. The broccolini left a lot to be desired, flavor wise. The restaurant looks very dated unfortunately. First impressions when you walk into the front door is the wood that shows varnish coming off in many places. Very odd that there was no white noise in the restaurant. A little music would've picked up the place a little and provided some background noise when having a private conversation at the table. Stop talking and you can hear everything the table nearby was saying. There was just a sense gloominess in the restaurant. Our server was excellent and very attentive. The bartender did a very good job with our mixed drinks. The food and the overall ambience is what felt so short. In the pantheon of steakhouses in the DC metro area, this one will be a one and done.

It is a high-end restaurant specializing in steak, and we like to dine there occasionally. The service is consistently excellent, and the establishment is well-maintained with an elegant atmosphere. We enjoy all of their dishes, including their wine and desserts. Overall, their steaks, seafood, and other menu items are good.

Waiter was friendly and attentive. Outstanding. Pear & cranberry salad was tasty but a little short on pears. Beef tenderloin was a perfect medium rare, absolutely delicious. Tempura lobster tail was very good. Asparagus was perfect. Fleming's potatoes were a little dry, not as good as usual, but not so bad it was worth complaining about. All in all a great dinner and I'm told we'll be back on Mother's Day!

On Sunday, March 24, My wife and I came to the Richmond, Va location for a dinner following a late church service held nearby. We were warmly greeted by staff and promptly and politely seated. The food was GREAT and the service was OUTSTANDING! Our server's name was David. And he IS AWSOME!!! He catered to our every need and treated us like family. My wife is very particular and a picky eater so he patiently explained the menu items and even made some excellent suggestions. The Manager -on-duty (sorry, i cant remember his name) was equally kind and accommodating. We regularly dine at fine steakhouses where ever we are, and I must say This was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. THANK YOU Flemings! :-)

Went to get the steak and lobster special. Server did not know about the special, had to ask his manager. While placing my order, he asked me if I wanted a side, I picked asparagus. I knew this was not part of the special, it was my $17 mistake. Management should train servers to not upside on specials. I love the place, I will go back. The lobster and steak were a TEN.

This was my first time at Flemings and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The customer service was excellent. The drinks were superb. I'll waiter. Carlos was very attentive, polite, and he carried himself in a professional manner. I had the sea scallops and my friend had the salmon. We had a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. We also had cocktails and had the carrot cake and ice cream for dessert. If I could give my dad an experience attend, I would.

The service was excellent and my sea bass was extremely good. Unfortunately my 3 guests all ordered petite fillets medium. 2 out of 3 were perfect but one was medium rare at best. One of the managers assisted on having it redone yet it came back medium rare again. The server was embarrassed and offered my guest a free dessert. That was nice but I think they would have preferred an eatable steak.
