From when we stepped inside, we were congratulated on our anniversary, waiter was very attentive and had casual conversation. “I can't say enough great things about Lutece. My wife and I shared one of the best dining experiences we've ever had in DC there recently. The food was sublime (duck confit tagliatelle was my personal favorite). The wine service was impeccable. The staff was super chill yet very attentive. And the atmosphere was perfect for the moment. We sat at one of the high top kitchen tables, which I highly recommend. We'll be back for sure.“

“Another wonderful meal at a truly lovely restaurant. The staff is very cordial and helpful and the food is tasty and well-presented. I had the salmon trio (smoked salmon, salmon tartar, and salmon roe) for an appetizer and sea bass for my entree. My husband had the wonderful onion soup for an appetizer and the crab cake, scallops, and shrimp for his entree. He was able to get the dish minus scallops as he is allergic to them!! Sample desserts and coffee rounded out our meal. A very pleasant evening all around.“

“First time dining here and loved it. Brought my wife for her birthday and they personalized the menu and brought her a decadent dessert on the house. Calamari breading is immaculate and Wagyu tartare was done very well with some micro greens. Our waiter claimed the duck was the best he’s had and truthfully it was in the highest echelon. The serving of lobster with ravilolini was generous. Such yummy dessert too (had the pineapple mojito). Was a little skeptical given it’s in Falls Church in an office building but pleasantly pleased ?“

“I have a saying I’m sure I’m not the only one and the saying half the eating experience is the people. They Lyon Hall made me feel like I was with a friendly family. Steven the manager stopped by to check on me, Brooke was super friendly and accommodating, Migjon the chef brought me a special steak to enhance my burger experience. Talk about accommodating Veronica the hostess was really looking out for me. When I thought the item I came for was not available she was going to the chef to ask if they could make it for me(I saw the item was available and saved her the trip). The burger I had could use a little more seasoning beyond that it was perfect!“

“My friend loved her hangar steak and we both loved our créme brulés, our side dishes and the wonderful bread. But I was quite disappointed in my Belgian stew entrée. I have had it there several times before, but last night, the beef was surprisingly fatty, including whole chunks of fat that looked like meat until I bit into them. The carrots also seemed as though they had come from a bag of frozen, cubed carrots, rather than fresh-cut. Just disappointing stew for the price and rather a rather skimpy portion, considering how much of the beef was not actual meat.“

“Returned to mosaic after years with great memories/At my surprise, the restaurant was not that busy.We were taken to our table within seconds of getting in.Our server Corey was very polite and efficient.Food was absolutely exquisite and well presented. We ordered the niçoise salade which is one of my favorite dish to eat out. It was beautiful and plentiful with purple potatoes and seared tomatoes. Next, I had the bouillabaisse; then, cheese course (a double or triple cream). I finished the meal with a chocolate pot de crème. I can’t wait until my next visit!“

“Had a fantastic meal at Bistro Sancerre. Our waiter, Gerard, was just lovely—very attentive and a great conversationalist. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him and appreciated that he showed interest but gave us space to enjoy (savor) the meal. The food was amazing. We started with the beef Wellington tarts, which were deconstructed with the beef and mushrooms atop a square of puff pastry and a Dijon horseradish sauce on the side. The beef was tender and melted in the mouth, and was just rich enough to balance the puff pastry. The steelhead trout served over in-season vegetables was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon over beet risotto and loved it—so imaginative! The crème brûlée was excellent, as was the white chocolate bread pudding. We could not have asked for a better meal.“

“I really appreciate that Liberté retains its lively atmosphere and French favorites as years pass. When I come here I know my dining companions and I will each have a great meal and go home happy. I'm a simple guy: I value being able to consistently rely upon the menu offering duck confit, cassoulet, bourguignon, moules-frites, et al. Liberté does these things well and consistently and, because the brasserie has many tables, it's where one may turn if on a whim friends decide to go out that evening. I tend to order a paper plane here to start, which has always been done well; I've never had a bad glass of wine, either. During Lent there were fun nonalcoholic options we enjoyed. The crowd can be a bit young due to the proximity to Georgetown -- all the better; it's good to be proximate to people excited about their evening. This does mean that it's not as formal a dining experience as another French restaurant in Georgetown, but Liberté knows what it's trying to do and does it well. I've not yet sat on the patio but as summer begins I hope to spend an evening there. I'll return again soon in order to do so. If you haven't yet visited, you should; I hope to see you here.“

We have ordered various dishes over time and they have all been excellent. The Sancerre is the best, salads are perfect and main dishes like veal chop and duck are exquisite. Desserts are a delight. Service is attentive and personal. The rooms and outdoor dining are charming. We are so lucky to have Bistro Provence in this area! Thank you!“

Being able to sit down with high tea with my partner and enjoy absolutely delectable, pastries, and desserts, and a cup of absolutely delectable tea while talking, and stepping away from the hustle and bustle of life, was absolutely to die for , the staff was wonderful and observing my allergy, and provided me an alternative menu to ensure that I stayed safe and did not have a reaction during my time.
