“Combination of great food, ambience and hospitality. This is the place if you are looking for authentic Nepali food and fine dining experience. They have always amaze us with their menu selection options and the way menus are platted and garnished. I will highly recommend this place for dining with your friends and family.“

“This Royal Nepal Bistro introduces one to the heavenly cuisine from the 'rooftop of the world'. Having visited Nepal, finding this restaurant was a delightful surprise and so nearby. The dishes are well prepared with care and attention paid to the blend of spices. The menu is truly an artistic creation, as is the presentation of each dish. The dishes will appeal to any palate. Plenty of vegetarian dishes are available and the chai is divine! The tandoori chicken is one of our favorites. Looking for something lighter, the daal (lentil) soup and rice never disappoint. And do give the Taj Mahal beer a try! If you are looking for a relaxing ambiance where you can be transported across the continents to the Himalayas, giving yourself a mini vacation from the hustle and bustle of this metropolitan area, we enthusiastically encourage you to visit this royal bistro. They are open for lunch which is doubly wonderful. Tucked away on a street connecting Church Street and Maple Avenue, the location is peaceful and relaxing. It is always fun watching the little ones who are most welcome at this establishment. And if you are heading to Nepal or just want to learn more about this magical country, come chat with everyone who has lived there.“

“Absolutely one of my favorite spots. I order from them regularly (Cameron Station). The Pork Belly and Sesame Tofu are to die for! the Lamb Dumplings also are very good. The Kale Chaat is excellent, and the Lamb Biryani was spicy. delicious and enough for luch the next day after 3 people ate off of it! Will definitely be checking out their $12 bowls! the Indochen in Old Town was too nice! Lamb Josh Rogan was good but I'll stick to the Biryani or try the Vindaloo next!“

“Great Indian-Nepalese restaurant in Bethesda. Ordered the chicken Biryani along with Chili chicken and garlic naan. The Biryani was well prepared and fresh. The chili chicken had an abundance of flavor. It wasn't too spicy either. Our server was very kind and gracious. Will come back next time I'm between Baltimore and DC.Best food and best service“

“Good Nepali food and good service. Most of the restaurant is partitioned to be used as a party hall and feels like a take out place in the dining area.We loved that tandoori, Momo's and curries. The Samosa chat was delicious. If you like indian food but prefer the milder version of curries and biryanis, this is the restaurant for youService was great and the staff was very friendly.“

“First time eating here on 18 November. Lunch was amazing. Service was very good too. The server said the cuisine is more Nepalese than Indian. Only reason I give 3 stars for Atmosphere is because it was dead which was surprising because the food was so good. This place should have a line out of the door!“
