Pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. The iron pot rice with chicken sausage was excellent. The rice was cooked perfectly and not overpowered by soy sauce. What's nice is the menu offers more hard core Chinese dishes in a way that many in the US could appreciate. The flounder in numbing sauce is an example. This is not a dish you'll see on most Chinese menus in suburbia US. It is a good choice and had interesting flavors without being too odd. The steamed bronzino is another example of a good balance of flavors and not masking the taste of the fish. The restaurant is nicely decorated and provided a good environment for a meal with friends.

As a vegan I super appreciate when a popular restaurant like this has multiple awesome dishes available. This outpost of Peter Chang's still has the smoked tofu dish that the Arlington location recently dropped.

I had a fantastic experience at the latest Peter Chang restaurant in McLean! Peter Chang restaurants are known for their exceptional quality and service, and this one certainly lived up to that reputation. Their commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients to create delicious dishes with less or no MSG sets them apart. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with trendy wood tones and light sky colors, creating a minimal atmosphere without overcrowding the space with typical Chinese elements that are too cliche.I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant and am looking forward to returning soon to try more dishes.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian food options.Parking: It has its own parking lot.

Mapo Tofu. I did not ask for less salt but the disk is real salty. I did not want to hurt my family so it went to the trash can. Mongolian beeft. The vegetable was overcooked. The whole thing did not look and taste attractive. The green bean is acceptable. I have tried Peter Chang in Arlington, in Charlottesville and Mama Chang. This was the most unsatisfied experience. I hope this review reach the owner or the cook. I won't be back this location. I did give 4 stars instead of 2 stars cause it was just a meal for me but a serious business for the restaurant. Just hope they do it better.

This is by far the worst location. Not even worth trying. They also have the worst carry out rules it’s just bad all around. Go to the Arlington location trust me it’s worth the drive.

This is one of a few PC family restaurants in the area. I like to think of this Chinese food as fresher, higher quality, more vegetables and more creative than the typical Chinese restaurant. The food is very good and is highly recommended. Located in an old, yes old building but the inside is refreshed and clean and comfortable than the previous dingy looking Chinese restaurant previously located here I have only done take out but have returned again and again and maybe, yes....again and again . It's worthy. Pad Thai, kung pao, sesame beef and many other yummy dishes are recommended. I think the salt is a bit much but otherwise flavors are great. Parking is a bit of a challenge and be sure NOT to park in adjoining lot- you will get towed (read the signs!!).

Every time I try to order Ma Po Tofu (my favorite dish) they only offer a vegan bland version. I'm sorry label your dishes correctly and don't cater to ppl who cant read the description. your ruining the best dishes for people without intelligence.
