This was my first time in the area and I needed a place for dinner. I figured an old-school Italian place should be good, and the reviews seemed to support that theory. Regrettably I was wrong. My friend and I shared a salad and a calzone. The salad was generous. At most Italian places I’ve been to, a calzone is huge, too much for two people, stuffed with cheese. This one was small, mostly crust, and flavorless. The upside was the server was very attentive. He was concerned that we were satisfied with our meal and kept my water glass filled. I appreciated that. Hence three stars instead of two.

I love Rocco's, one of my all time favorite restaurants for over 35 years, it always had the best pizza. I have fond memories of this place as a kid and it's still great. A real gem and reasonably priced for McLean. Highly recommend!

Having an urge for a Cheesesteak last Friday, the entire family picked up and decided to go somewhere outside our usual haunts (we had not been for a decade or so).As a small, family oriented restaurant, the noise level was high (not their fault, just a large family with kids), but the food was fine. Other than the cheesesteaks, one person had a Parm sub. All were fine (the parm was less crispy than ideal, but no other complaints, and the cheesesteaks were as expected), but their Onion rings and fries were all well above average (hot, crispy, and not mealy). And, while we were there, one family left behind a backpack behind a chair, but by hustling the staff successfully intercepted the departing vehicle before they got out of the lot. Bonus points for the service in general.

The best italian food around. They have traditional Italian atmosphere and great customer service.

Food that is very excellent! The outside sitting area is lovely. The chicken wings, garlic bread, and pizza are all excellent choices. The personnel was also quite pleasant.

Not for strange looking lunch Lasagna. I ordered one to go and used my own container. When received, I opened to check if it was Lasagna. Tito, our waiter, confirmed it was. For $13.47, it was a disappointment.

Its your average family owned Italian restaurant nothing bad but nothing special either.
